I love the Bitopoly v1 and wish I got one but didn't know about Squirrelbits until a couple months ago. Glad I was able to get my hands on a v2.
The only thing that makes me nervous for the people with v1 is the Opendime... How many years will the Opendime last? Obviously we don't know but 15, 20 or even 25 years down the line those devices could succumb to "bitrot" and could be defunct.
I don't think it's much to worry about but just a thought I had.

I will continue to collect most funded items from new makers that use opendime to secure the funds The original V1 with the opendime came buyer funded. Up to you to load and use opendime. The V2 uses the squirrel hologram and traditional method. |
