Frankly, the only way you can answer these question is to evaluate what your initial purpose was in the first place.

Because if you are trading, only the technical/fundamental analysis will help you determine when to buy and sell. Holding, on the other hand, relies on whether you plan to keep it long-term. And more importantly, you won't benefit by listening to what the majority of people have to say if you don't know how to assess yourself (e.g., finance, risk apetite, knowledge).

Hold if you already have bitcoin and you think that its price will go up in the future.

Buy if you can afford to take on more risk and if you think bitcoin will go up in the future.

Sell and don't invest in general if you can't afford to lose your money and if you don't want risk.

For me it's buy and hold. Now is the time to buy because bitcoin is cheap, although it is not out of the question that the price will go down and we will see new lows, but it is a cheap price. Hold, because otherwise it makes no sense. To have bought more expensive and sell now is a bad strategy. It is a good time to buy and hold until the next cycle.

Holding if you already bought some and wait for it to gain. Buy if you have extra money since the price of any coin right now is really low (bargain price already). Or if you like to gain profit then buy and sell it at a resistance and support level of tokens or coins you wish to play with. Only pick major coins to have an ease mind of buying a shitcoin.

Based on what's going on in the market, it looks like now is a good time to buy again as bitcoin's price position is dropping to $21k.
But before we invest, we better analyze it further to find if now is really a good time to buy bitcoin again.
If you are investing in bitcoin for a long period of time, then if the price is still under $22k-$23k, it will be a good price to buy, especially if the price drops below $20k.
But my advice is not to immediately buy bitcoins in large quantities because we do not know which direction the price will move.
If the price goes down again, we can still buy it again later.

It all really depends on the steps you took before, if you have bought when the price is high then holding it longer is recommended but that is if you hold btc but if altcoin will be very different, if you don't have it buy btc if you believe the price will go up again

Even at this price I will still sell my bitcoin to buy at a diper price maybe not all but 75% if i am a small holder and got few fiat/USDT in my wallet. For those with investment in coin with Ethereum blockchain, a low gas price and pump about the news of merger should help to take some profit if it shows up. The bear market can be longer than we expect because of the world economy and the adjustment in most countries financial policies especially USA.

In my estimation, buy if you want to do it for the long term. But use the DCA strategy. But where you don't have a long term view in mind, then hodl. If you sell you lose unless your life depends on it. However, to be able to make an informed decision in accordance with your goals you must keep abreast with news and happenings in the crypto space.

I don't think anyone can give a better answer than this, because in the end, it all boils down to how much money you want to invest and how much risk you want to take. Although past events do not guarantee that history will repeat itself, I think that every bear market is an ideal moment for investments, although no one can know whether the bottom has been reached and whether in a given month 1 BTC will be worth $30k or $13k.

What coin you are holding at the current? Then only this situation can be analysed because if you are holding bitcoin then it's time for investment but only if you plan to hold long term.

If your choice is BTC ==== Buy and HOLD for long term

If your choice is any shitcoin ==== Sell if you can otherwise they will be lying dead in your wallets giving zero returns.

Do you really think after the merger there could be profit showing up in your wallets for any of shit token you are holding on Ethereum blockchain? The gas is many times is too high that sending small amounts is worthless as it would be consumed in fees only and still transaction would be stuck so don't think it's right move to sell your bitcoin for it.On the other side you can hold it for a while and after little pumps you could sell your stash if you wish to do as your funds your decision.

Buy and hold if you're planning to stay in the market for long term and there's more that you desire to bitcoin's price.

Well, selling can happen at any season and even you don't want to but if the circumstance that you're facing requires you to do, you'll have no option but to sell.

I've been there and done that and that's why you probably will do all of it. But, as part of my plan, I'm doing the two, buying and holding until I'm satisfied to sell.

I think no one can answer it but yourself. Because no matter which answer do you get here either from me or from everyone else out there, nothing can give you promises or guarantees about the movement of Bitcoin’s price. Your money, your decision, your risk, your responsibility.

In the first place when you say hold the one and only you must do is you must buy first before you hold a coin.  If you think that the price of the coin you want to hold is worthy enough to buy and in the next months or a year the price will get double or triple then you can buy a coin and start holding.
The decision is all yours you are the boss in holding or trading. But always always remember capital or money is a must before trading.

Buy low sell high! Buy when the market is down and sell when the market is up. We are in a bear market so the time is to buy and hold. In the event that you wish to make substantial profits and believe that bitcoin will appreciate in the future, now would be a good time to buy and hold bitcoin. If you bought a little before, hold or can sell if there is a profit, only sell when there is a profit and absolutely do not sell at a loss, bitcoin will not decrease forever, so there is no need to panic.

If you want to hodl, you need to buy. So, the answer is clear. 

My opinion is that this value will be maintained in the current range, $17-$24k for a long time. a significant bull cannot happen in the next year, probably two.
what I think is most important is that no action you decide on should be rushed, and there is no place for panic here. unless there is another bigger fiasco like this one with Celsius or Luna.

Buy sell or hold depending on the strategy you want to use. If you want to buy and then sell using a short-term strategy with scalping, it will be better but also requires large funds to maximize profits. But if you want to invest long term buy and then Hodl it will be better, determine what price target you want to achieve. very simple but not easy to do.
