In the eyes of the government, when social media is not registered with the monitoring agency, it will be very vulnerable to being discredited and even blocked. As happened where I live, now Reddit, Steam, Paypal, Github, etc., which are the livelihoods for young people, have now stopped due to crazy government policies. All the social media was used for the business and economic development.It also improve the concept of socialisation.Many new youngsters had gained good knowledge from the social media.They get to know,how to react in the society for certain things.The TikTok is used for the promotion of verbal things and verbal ideologies among the young people.

Anything could really be used whether messaging apps or even videos or most likely on social media and just been said that since this had the most traffic then it would really be just right

Social media made people more unsocial. People like to keep in contact with many virtual individuals but most of them are not very active in real-life social programs. Social media is not free, we actually paid them with the knowledge of ourselves which they sell or use for marketing.

We are living in a time when data is the biggest asset. All these social media sell their user data for money and those data have also been collected for marketing purposes.

Correct, before the advent of social media people still socialized, the difference was that the number of people you could reach was more limited but you could still exchange your ideas and hobbies with others and have a great time while doing so.

nowadays, social media is one of the best route to reach potential customers. however, as you said, scammers are everywhere, either you are a seller or a buyer, you need to be cautious. but i can agree that social media channels are now becoming the marketplace of basically everything. there are pros and cons but let's just look at the positive side of it. people are earning additional income without the need to secure business permit. a great help during this time of pandemic/crisis.

I read in a book by stephen covey he emphasized that humans grow from being dependent to independent and that the best and highest form of human existence is interdependence what some people dont understand is that they can leverage on people they see physically because those people may be their key to succeed in the mainstream social media, we dont have to be rude wit people we meet physically and go online to pretend to be who we are not.... when we can leverage on all fronts

Here the crux of the matter is slightly different. Just for the sake of more and more profit, the owners of social networks turn it from a means of communication with insignificant and non-intrusive advertising, into platforms where you have to look for a little convenient communication among a bunch of unnecessary advertising. The question of the concentration of advertising, its quantity, constantly growing and arrogantly delivered everywhere and always.

That's right, as long as the Platform doesn't prohibit things like that then it's a good thing to do because apart from us socializing there we can also add other things and one of them is finance.

I guess in the last decade or so, social media has been used for business. When I work as a SEO/SMM like years ago, majority of our clients wanted their presence in the internet that's why they hired us. So nothing has change, it's just the matter how they are going to be promoted because they are a lot of social media to build their brands through interaction. So there is still the socializing part, as you can talk to your customers get feedback etc, etc.
