Let's make a comparison between social media giants Facebook and Twitter. The growth of Facebook to over a billion users contrary to the 500 million users of Twitter. Facebook is valued at $345 billion and the value of Twitter is only $39 billion. 2021 net income of Facebook was at $39.37 billion a complete opposite to the $221 million net loss of Twitter.

The point is, change is constant. You stop innovating and you're out of competition. And is it wrong if Facebook mixed socializing and business? While I am socializing I can order food, drinks and some other stuffs within Facebook. What Facebook is doing worked. Twitter as we can see remained focus as a social media platform the same reason it was built 16 years ago. Facebook on the other hand keeps changing, from installing games to creating a marketplace. Facebook is becoming an all-around online platform and its users can stay longer because they have so many services offered. And a metaverse is in a developing phase but it is coming soon.
