Manchester City were really having serious issues in the first half. Inter were really good at defending them and they prevented Manchester City from applying their usual game plan here. However this was only until the end of the first half I'm afraid. In the second half Manchester City started to be more effective and finally Inter gave a big space for them to score.

Rodri's goal was really by a clean shot to the corner. Maybe he isn't an attacking midfielder but we have always known him by his supporting the attacks most of the time. He did it again here and thanks to that Manchester City won the title as well.

I understand Inzaghi once again about why he doesn't choose Lukaku in the starting lineup in this kind of critical matches.    Because I think he is the main reason why Inter couldn't extend the match to extra time. Really, how bad header it was there! Right after that he wasted another chance just unbelievable.

Though Manchester City are the Champions of Europe and that they did after beating Inter Milan but I think without mincing words, one can say that Inter were the better team if the night but weren't lucky enough to convert those chances they got on goal.
Inter for a fact is club that's known for being strong, energetic and resilient while playing football but little did most people ever think they were gonna be a very opponent against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

I'm really pleased with Inter Milan's performance in the first half, I kind of liked the way they have been able to keep Manchester City quiet in the game with their physicality and close marking. City had 2 targets on goal with one chance coming from Haaland. Kelvin Debruyne has been substituted in the 36th minute as a result of an injury with Foden coming in.  I'm impressed with the way Martinez and Barella are playing but Dzeko has been really hidden in the game. I don't know what to expect in the second half but I will be hoping to see the tactical changes of both Pep Gardiola and Simone Inzaghi.

I guessed Man City had the right approach at the end of the day, it wasn't an easy win by any stretch, because fought back enough Man City didn't lose their composure, and or got over aggressive in the process of their goal seeking chance, they were very balance all from the back to the front, and John Stone of course would be my man of the game because he literally on every single side and flank of the field, Foden also filled De Bruyne boots maybe not perfectly but he sure wasn't a downgrade for the injured De Bruyne.... Finally, I guessed Guardiola have earned the right to be called the best modern era coach and one of the best of all time, he's built a dynasty at every club he manages.

wow it was a game in which before it started i hoped that manchester city would not have too many difficulties to win the game, but throughout the game i could see that on the field the reality was very different, inter was playing much better than the city both in defense and attack, but unfortunately in attack inter did not have players with much skill to score goals in difficult situations, while manchester city was aimless in the game but as there are many good quality players they managed to score a goal and win , I confess that it was a lackluster game on the part of manchester city, they didn't attack much

The reality of the Champions League actually beat my imagination. Before the match started, I already hoped and thought that Manchester City is gonna rush Inter Milan and get atleast 2 goals in the first half. This was my expectation to the match, but reality was done on mee sooner they started the match.
I have a great feeling that Inter Milan would have done better assuming they started Lukaku over Dzeko. Dzeko was practically missing in the first half while Lukaku pushed the attack in the second half with alot of energy and strength.

I don't even think guardiola will be leaving from the club in summer as his contract is still remain very long until 2025. Some players like gundogan probably leave city in summers but im not sure about its coach will be leaving from there.
Competing in EPL has become very good challenge for him. he will remain in city until his contract end. Why leave if he can still win 1 or even 2 more treble winners?

I think another thing that has been a big support for him this season is the strength of the Manchester City team which is filled with many quality players who are able to make them stronger than other teams.

There is some fun fact , all serie a finalist in european competition completely failed. Fiorentina beaten by west ham , as roma beaten by sevilla and now inter milan by manchester city. Serie a teams almost conquer european competition but they are actually completely fail at this point. Well done manchester city for the 1st european title.

As a Inter fan, I can also feel your pain.Today's day don’t for us.the Istanbul show has just finished.  Man city won the game to 1-0. Bad luck for Inter Milan and their supporters. They play really well. But they couldn’t. Its called lose to fate. Its a very bad moment for  Inter Milan supporters

You were right to believe in fate and recognize that Inter Milan was not fortunate to win this year's Champions League. They performed an excellent game, holding Manchester City at bay for an extended period of time before scoring. Even after Manchester City took the lead, they were able to apply pressure until the final seconds for an equalizer, but it just didn't work out for them. A very bad moment not only for Inter supporter base but for all the Italian supporters. Three Italian clubs(Roma, Fiorentina, and Inter) all played in the finals of three league games(Europa, Europa Conference, and UEFA) and they were all defeated by it.  
In the Europa League: Roma lost to Sevilla in a penalty shot out by 4 - 1, Europa Conference League: Fiorentina lost to West Ham by 1- 2 and in this Champions League match: Inter lost to Manchester City by 0 - 1.

Inter tried in reaching the finals of the champions league and they perform admirably against Manchester City. I never imagined they would play in such a way, keeping hold of Manchester City and expecting just one goal from them. Inter had a chance to beat Manchester City and even score, but they blew it. Martinez had a one-on-one opportunity to score and transferred the ball to Lukaku. Additionally, Lukaku missed a good close-range nod at the 88-minute mark that Ederson saved.

I don't see any reason for Guardiola to leave Manchester City after winning the Champions League. On the contrary, now a stone has fallen off his shoulders, nothing is so pressing and he can safely continue working at the club until the end of his contract. Haaland should also stay at the club in the coming years. So now why doesn't Pep try to win the Champions League and the Premier League again, because he is making a great history of the club here and now. But after the contract ends in 2025, I wouldn't be surprised if Guardiola takes a sabbatical for a year or two.

As has been discussed in many predictions, Manchester City is a team that is actually a reasonable favorite to win the Champions League title. Their performances are good but sometimes they are too bad on defense. Akanji made several mistakes during the match which Manchester City almost conceded, but luckily Ederson was very quick to save the net.

While watching the match, it was safe to say that all the pre-match betting was all unimportant because there was a real battle on the pitch, especially the ending. The last 10 minutes were incredible, Ederson saving his team from at least extra time and essentially bringing them victory

I was indeed really a keenly contested and very competitive match, some pre-match predicted an easy win for Man City with a wide goal margin, however all those analysis failed though Man City won the match but it's a narrow win and with luck on their side because Ederson Man City goalkeeper made two crucial saves to denied Inter Milan an equilizer while one of the goal bound header hit Man City woodwork and statistically Inter Milan had more shots on target than Man City that shows how difficult it is to predict a final match, I commend Inter Milan for putting up a good fight and congratulations to Man City for completing a treble kudos to Guordiola for achieving his target.

Inter put up a good fight against the odds, Man City were the favorites in this match with a decent margin, but they only won with a difference of one goal and Inter Milan had chances to equalize in this match, they were playing a final so it was expected for me to see a good fight, a deserved win for Man City to say the least, Champions League was their biggest goal for a while, and time came for them to shine.

Though City had more of ball possession but the game was balnce to some extent. Inter Milan had 3 good chances in the second half that would have ended at the back of the net but I guess luck was not on their side. Pep Gardiola has made history for the club by finally given Manchester City their most desired trophy that have eluded them for years. Pep last lifted the champions league in 2011 when Barcelona won Manchester United in the finals, and It took him about 12 solid years to win the trophy again. Concerning his contract renewal, he might decide to give another league a trial but so far he hasn't given any hint.
