I have an asrock h110 still running rock solid since many years. The only thing you should watch out every 6 months is dust formation that can shorten the hardware average life.

true some dust can cause micro shorts. so a good dusting every once in a while is in order.

I'd like to add this: an higher short risk is always caused by combined factors. Dust in a smaller degree isn't a problem, but little dust + high humidity can seriously hurt the boards very quickly.

yeah true. also the actual dust/dirt content can vary.

Our warehouse has a ton of diesel trucks go in and out. So we get a dark grime and regular dust. That grime is partially made of diesel fuel.

It is conductive. So we have a lot of filters and we do a deep clean 2x a year every board a 99% Alcohol bath 2 times a year.

We finally found a better filter which has cut the grime down a lot. Between the deep cleaning and the new filters the control boards all work a lot better.

What percentage of boards do not work for you after bathing in alcohol?
I have not worked with ASICs, but with video cards, I prefer to blow through video cards and not tear them apart for no reason. But there are no diesel trucks near my farms.
