Bitcointalk Needs Signal and Analytical Sections

I've never regretted it ever since I joined the Bitcointalk forum, this is a near-perfect forum, but some things are still lacking.

It is hard for me to believe that the most informative forum on Cryptocurrency lacks signal and analytical sections. As long as Bitcoin and altcoins are also important in trading (spots, futures and others), it is important that we discover and help ourselves in that regard. Sharing our trading insights or signals will be more positive for us as we never can tell, the most experienced/professional or guru traders might be among us. We can earn for free or even improve in our trading if these sections are granted on the forum.

It is my appeal to the forum administrators and moderators to consider this while I also make a public poll.

Signal and Analytical sections? it's more like Pump and Dump Scam section lol.

There's no need to add more sections, you can create such discussion on Trading discussion if you're discuss about Bitcoin or create on Speculation discussion (Altcoins) if you're discuss about Altcoins.

I'd say most of signal is useless since they're only put random number without any explanation and a real or experienced person wouldn't share their good analysis in this forum without any reason.

We already have both the Trading Discussion section and the Economics section. That's more than enough.

P.S. Who in the right mind even is interested in those "signals"? The only thing they're signalling is their reader's poverty.

I believe it would fit into the existing sections quite well, and has done for years. Plenty of users here routinely post their analytical observations over in the economy/speculation sections. That's pretty much what those sections are dominated by, especially the speculation section. Alright, there's also just predictions with a little bit of reason, and not too much actual analysis, but it definitely fits those sections depending on the way the original poster goes about it.

Altcoin section could potentially do with more specific sections in general anyway.

As others have already said that these discussions would fit in the existing sections so we don't need another board for them as well.

I wonder if we need different sub board for each main topic discussion as we have plenty of threads in Meta about having an NFT dedicated board as well but they can also come under Altcoin section so why we need seperate boards for them as well.

Moreover at this time I think @theymos don't have any plans to make ammendments to the forum and requesting on specific boards for general discussion which can be sorted out under existing sections won't help at all.

I checked first page of Economics, Speculation and Trading Discussion board just now. But i only found 2 threads title which use word "signal". "Analytical" has wide meaning and already fit on boards i mentioned. Consider bump this thread again if thread about "signal" fill at least 1/2 of a board for some time.

Yeah there are more of speculation and we see less of these signals for price movements related threads so it's already clear we don't need a different board for discussion which are not making significant part of the forum discussions.

You already have such a section, it's called Trading Discussion (but for a more broad class of trading topics).

That would be more of scam and ways to rob people of their money. I will not expect anything more than how signals and bots are good in trading and ending the topic with 'join my telegram group for signals and trading advice', what some new users often do on trading discussions. The threads that would be on the so call board that you want can easily be on trading discussion and speculation board.

You kinda said it yourself: this is all about Trading. I see no reason to add more subforums, Trading Discussion pretty much does the job. Also I will add Speculation as a great alternative.
Keep in mind, however, that if you want to do this for altcoins, Speculation (Altcoins) may be the better place.

Its no need, if you want to create a thread then you can maintain self moderated thread and keep it updated with the signals and there are some rare threads of such kind exists as well. But what you are expecting from separate board for trading signals? People will provide the trading signals for free so others can make money?

When you say that you need a signal section, this means that you are looking for the speculation of the price of bitcoin and crypto market in the near future. For this, we already have a Speculation section.

For the analytical part, we have a trading discussion and economics to discuss all this stuff. Even Bitcoin discussion and altcoin discussion can be used for the same purpose.

I think most of the issues with bitcointalk not having a signal group or some analytical board as you suppose is embedded in this idea of free earnings. I don't see someone who trades on signals to be someone who would improve instead, it makes you dependent and lazy towards doing any actual analysis.

I think we've got this in the speculative subboard with BTC/USDT wall observer. Perhaps a single photo would be all that would answers your question or some screenshot lines on a chart. A few of those still goes down in altcoins. You could visit those and get some signals of the speculations that goes on there.

Mind you, there is no analysis pro or guru as you term it anywhere and there is a disclaimer to such information, be it stated or not. Its important you learn how to trade yourself.

I will be giving Bitcoin a signal where the striking point, stop loss and take profit would be known, and it will be a free daily service.

You never can tell. A lot of junk is out there, but some are very useful. You should watch out for mine starting from next week.

Useless signals are many, yet there are good traders that would give their reliable signals for free, which makes it not a scam as you are risking nothing other than the money you are trading. You might try it with a ridiculously low amount on our trading account before deciding to trust it or not. If you did not try, you wouldn't know. Regarding the explanations, I think it is not necessary as long as the signal is working just fine.

Depending on the contents, and what it's actually going through speculation or one of the economy sections sub sections like trading discussion would fit it I would think. Obviously, as time goes on, and these sort of threads are dominating these sections it might be something to look at, but in its current state I think we're pretty good the way we are now. 

Never hurts to make suggestions though, as you can see it triggered a decent enough discussion around it, and it might be something to consider in the future with demand.

Like any other request for new sub-boards, the main question to answer is if such topics dominate an already existing board. That means, is the majority of the subject titles and discussions about signals? If that isn't the case, admins won't consider adding new child boards. Since we already have Trading Discussion and Speculation boards, I would say that's all that is needed on that front.

Though there are related boards for analysis and speculations, but I feel it is not right to have a special board for it because if it happens it will likely lead to some kind of centralization. The board would be hijacked by pump and dump experts to influence some certain coins. Again, it will also be a scam bait, where newbies would easily be misled.

There is speculation board for bitcoin and that's fine. The WO thread is in 30,000+ pages and signals are being discussed there. It's fine already.

use your own knowledge and do your own research. Don't trust anyone on the internet. This is the best way to be in crypto. I don't think it's necessary to have this in the forum.
