Roma simply blocked Leverkusen very well and they did got a good result and reserve some attacking players for further recoveries before the final match. They successfully avoided to use Dybala and El Sharawy when those attacking players are not fully ready. They will have about 2 more weeks for recovery and their appearances in final match in Budapest will be very helpful for Roma.

My expectations about the final between Roma and Sevilla turned out to be true. Sevilla beat Juventus at home and it was a good mentality for them to prove to anyone who doubted it.

Really disappointed with Leverkussen yesterday night as they missed the qualification in a clamorous way,we all know Mourinho likes to park the bus and it is exactly what he did yesterday night but I am astonished at the inability of Leverkussen coach and his team to find a way to break through that defense,they hit the goal more than 20 times but all of them were in vain and also Rui Patricio is the hero of the game having made six super saves in yesterday game,it was not only bad luck for Leverkussen,as I said it was also the inability to change things from their coach and his team.

I don't even care what strategy that used by mourinho as long as it was winning and that's more than enough. It will be far better played so badly but winning the trophy rather than play beautiful with no trophy. It must become the main concern here.
I saw how leverkusen tried so hard to break the wall by bayern. Mourinho was the most successful coach. I don't even think if pep will able to do that to handle a poor club that was only giving 7 millions budget to bought the new player in the last transfer season.

Sevilla gain more opportunities in the second half to equalized the goal and use the extra time to achieved the winning goal to defeated Juventus 2-1. It was a great celebration in the camp of Sevilla for the victory they got from the UEFA champions league semi-finals, because many people predicted for the favour of Juventus based on what happened in the first leg but Sevilla used all their strength and tactics to use home advantage to embraced victory at the end of the match. Juventus was in good position to win the match in the second half but they misused their opportunity that gave Sevilla access to the victory.

Sevilla taking down Juventus? Talk about a blockbuster headline! It was a scene right out of a chess master's playbook, Sevilla calmly waiting, then boom! Striking like a cobra when the opportunity arose. They owned the second half, and rule it? They did like kings!

And Juventus? What happened to our Italian giants? Were they exhausted post-World Cup? Or did they misplace their magic sauce? It was akin to seeing Superman without his cape, right?

Now all eyes are on Sevilla. With this win, they've punched their ticket to the finals. Will they keep riding this golden wave, or will they trip at the last step? Sevilla's a powerhouse, no doubt, but I'm secretly rooting for Mourinho to hoist that trophy with Roma!

The final encounter will really be very interesting. I think Sevilla have a better chance here as Roma are not in the best shape at the moment. There have been many haters were critizing about how boring the strategy that used by mourinho even some of them called that as the oldest strategy that is still exists but they were just butthurt to the what already achieved by roma. But Roma's style also raises the question whether it is time for soccer to introduce net play time like in hockey or basketball. When every couple of minutes a player sinks to the ground and claims that he is injured and then wastes another two minutes of play time, that is unsportsmanlike conduct. Having a stopwatch that is on halt every time the game can't continue, it would be much better than it is now. The incentive to waste actual play time is too significant and the referee can't do much about it. If a player claims to feel pain and can't walk off the pitch, it's at least two minutes going to waste every single time. But should that really be an essential part of high level games? I don't think so and I hope that one day the rules get an overhaul.

Yes, of course, it is very boring to watch the 2nd leg match. But for Mourinho, he doesn't care about the environment that doesn't like his scheme, the most important thing is that he is able to achieve what he wants. In the final match, Mourinho may also apply the same pattern if his team is able to score first. Even though many don't like the pattern that Mou uses, I still like it. Roma secured their semi-final spot by defeating Leverkusen on their own home ground to advance to the final. Roma were in great form in the match and Leverkusen also played well but there was enough fighting between the two sides to secure the final with Roma leading the way. And unfortunately Leverkusen were eliminated from the semi-finals. Now Roma and Sevilla will play the final match, surely this match will be full of attack and they will fight enough to be champions.

It was Mourinho's strategy to always defend when they were unable to attack so there was no other choice but to defend, I know how Mourinho has always implemented this strategy system at several clubs he has held but it was a tactic he made as long as he could survive with the ability of his team is because Roma are not very agile in terms of attack so they can only rely on the first leg and for the second leg Mourinho succeeded with the tactics he made.

I was also surprised how defensive AS Roma was playing yesterday. I mean i expected them to play very defensively because first of all they are a Italian team and they are always having their main focus on a solid defense and everything else comes after that. That being said, i really did not expect them to play this defensive and this destructive. It was really hard to watch.
In addition to that they wasted time so often in the second half, it was really disgusting and had nothing to do with a fair game anymore. The one player even rolled back in onto the pitch even though he was already lying outside. The extra time should have been way longer too. It's a shame that a team that plays that way is now in the final.

The final will take place in Budapest, and the teams will have equal chances, Mourinho will again try to play from defense. Mourinho can break the idyll of Sevilla in the EL, but it will not be an easy final, there may be extra time and penalties. If Sevilla wins again, it will be phenomenal, after such a poor start in the tournament, I would not have thought that they could reach the final.

It seems true that Roma were actually lucky not to concede a single goal which would have forced the game into extra time. Roma only have 253 passes compared to Leverkusen's 621. Roma would lose like this in the final against Sevilla. Like it or not, Roma have to play open to win and that is the best way to prove a good mentality as a candidate for winning a prestigious title in the European League.

However, when facing Roma in the semifinals from leg 1 to leg 2, Leverkusen seemed to be at his wits end to score goals in that match and Roma managed to bring Leverkusen home in yesterday's match with a 0-1 aggregate win.

Now we will also see Roma who will face Sevilla later, can Mourinho present the European league title this time for the Roma wolf fans or Sevilla will still be strong enough for them and of course the target of Sevilla still wants to continue to add to this trophy collection.
