Also, I got some footage, it looks like Sevilla has quite the advantage because the referee doesn't seem to be on AS Roma's side. I know everyone would be complaining and blaming the officials for Roma's loss but speaking from a neutral side both teams did great and gave everything and either of the teams deserved to win. Actually, when talking about luck, maybe there is. However, I believe more in the mental readiness and the players who are taken for penalty kicks, this is not luck. Taking a final kick, especially in the UEFA European League is not easy, it is more dramatic and the executors certainly have higher pressure. So, this is more about technical readiness, accuracy, and what is also important is their mentality. So, not solely because of bad luck or luck. I share your empathy for Mou. Despite his illustrious track record, biting the dust in a European final is no stroll through the park, more so when it's steeped in controversy.

I don't think anyone who watched the UEFA Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma would boldly want to say it was a shame for Roma. The best of professional footballers does do similar or even worse mistake than what we saw Mancini do on that game.
But Roma could've have still win the game if the referee had given the the penalty after the ball hit a Sevilla player in the arm. Roma were the better side that night but Sevilla where the lucky side and that's why they won

I also agree that it is definitely no shame at all if you are in the final of the UEFA Europa League and then you lose it to FC Sevilla, the club that has won the Europa League more often than any other club. So AS Roma can be pretty proud about how far they have come in this competition. No doubt about that.
I do think though, that the way AS Roma came that far was really really questionable. Especially in the second leg against Leverkusen Rome played a horrible style of football. Not only did they play extremely defensively over the whole 90 minutes they also played very unfair by wasting at least 10 minutes in the second half alone.

You are right that even in La Liga Sevilla did not appear as serious as in the Europa League competition. No one would be surprised how strong Sevilla's DNA is in the Europa League. Seeing from the beginning Sevilla appeared in the Europa League until they reached their peak in the Final 50% of them locked in a win even though the opponent was Roma. They have won 7 trophies which makes the next season quite interesting as many Premier League challengers like Liverpool and Brighton can show resistance.
