. As great as the qualification is, there are reasons that this season didn't go that well. That need be fixed before the new season can actually really become the adventure they are now looking forward to. But they are the deserved winner in my opinion for a couple of reasons. It was a very fair game played by them and with that little bit of luck they took it home. A great team that is very grounded and was ready to deliver a great fight and put in all the effort.

Well, that's it.
Whatever happens, they must prepare and fix problems previously before the new season coming. They must not start their journey like the previois one. They have so many works to fix in the club, and they also need to sign few new players that exactly can be solid and appropriate to the club and the coach.
They must have bigger attention and expectation to reach in the next season after what's happen to them.

In colloquial terms one would say they got off cheaply. If in March somebody would have told Sevilla that the are going to play the Champions League next season and that they can make the fans forget how miserable the season actually was in La Liga, it would have still only been an unrealistic dream for them. 8 weeks later the impossible has been done. The whole team was in such a bad shape that nobody really expected them to make it so far and then they eliminated Manchester United and Juventus Turin. This season is probably like fairytale or them when you look at how the season went in the beginning and how it ended. It was the absolute maximum in positive terms.

The Sevilla team knows very well that they have no chance of winning the Champions League title. Champions League teams are much stronger than Sevilla. Sevilla may be able to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League if they try their hardest. And it is more honour for Sevilla to be champions of the Europa League. And so Sevilla's main goal is the Europa League title. And next season we will probably see a poor performance of Sevilla in the Champions League. However, Sevilla's main goal will remain to win the Europa League title.

It is like Sevilla are very successful in nearly every season they are in the Europa League. The other teams can take a deep breath when Sevilla manage to get past the group stage in the Champions League. The 2020/2021 season is a really good example for that. I really don't know if we would see some new team finishing Sevilla's series and start a new era. Roma tried their best but it wasn't enough anyway. Sevilla won with an inexperienced manager with big teams like Mendilibar even though Roma had Mourinho.

Sevilla are such a disciplined team that they can manage to make it to the Europa League title even in bad conditions. I mean their performance in the La Liga was really poor in general but this didn't hinder them from doing great here.

Whenever Sevilla have been in the Europa League, they have always put in a good game which has led them to great success here, even if it is not in line with what they have shown in La Liga. Last season, yes last season was actually a moment where they showed a good game in La Liga, they even competed with Real Madrid for some time. But it's a shame they couldn't show their good game consistently, which made them move away from chasing Real Madrid at that time, and in the end they had to lose competition from 2 other big clubs, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.

You guys make this Roma squad look so ass, so it can look as if Mourinho did what was impossible. Roma has a better squad than Sevilla. Roma has almost the same squad as Napoli. I'm not saying they have a squad t win the Champions League and Serie A, but that Roma squad is a squad that should in the top four and nobody should be surprised if that team wins the Europa League.

Your points are legit but still people love to favor the teams that win not the ones that lose. So this time Sevilla won the Europa League and that's the main reason for their praise otherwise people would definitely favor Roma if they were the winners. Not sure if it's just because of the Sevilla coach, because the current Sevilla coach is Mendilibar, who historically Mendilibar has never coached a team that is used to competing for titles and trophies. But yes, I don't mean to belittle Mendilibar, but if you say Sevilla's success is only due to the coach, then I think that statement is not quite right. Except, if Mendilibar quite often coaches big teams with lots of titles and achievements he has managed to get, then the statement about the coach still makes sense but for Mendilibar I think it is still not quite right.

Indeed, several Sevilla players are still the same players from the previous season and they also didn't transfer players too much, so with the same squad they certainly have balanced coordination on the field which keeps them united to win the title. The new Sevilla coach is actually quite good but the experience of Sevilla players is much better for this competition.

Apart from all that, I think that if Sevilla still retains these players for next season then they could have the chance to win the European league again because even though they have the opportunity to play in the champions league, sometimes Sevilla prefers the European league competition to be able to add to their trophy collection.

I don't think Roma has the ability to be focused in all leagues. I don't think the Roma team is too strong either. Roma is an average team. They have been able to play well in the last two seasons due to Mourinho's excellent match strategy. But if the Roma management is interested in spending money next season, I believe Mourinho will be able to strengthen this team. However, in the past, Roma management was not interested in building the team by spending a lot of money. They may be thrifty this season too.

It is true that it seems that Roma also feel lucky enough to be able to compete until the final round in the European league because we know that the players are still filled with the same squad as last season. Maybe there is truth if the owner is willing to spend money to buy new players that can increase the performance power of his squad and Mourinho will be more flexible in determining options for a better starting line-up. We will still be waiting for Roma's revival in the European league next season and surely Mourinho's frustration in this year's final will be avenged by him in the European league next season until he reaches the final again.

I personal don't believe in accusing or directing a match loss to the fault of any referee although I believe Roma actually did play well but as the circumstances have sevilla came victorious and it is not because of some hasty decision made by the referee or something else. Sevilla completely deserve that victory and they had played with a lot of spirit in them to actually succeed in securing that trophy.

So if someone says AS Roma won something this season, in my opinion that is very strange because there really is no trophy that AS Roma can take this season. There is no doubt about this all José Mourinho's experience and strategy work for AS Roma, and they have good result in Europa Cup but sadly in final luck was not with them as they lost this title on penalties and Sevilla able to win record time which is surely amazing stuff for them and despite having 12th spot in La Liga now they are going to play Champions League again in next season which is another amazing stuff for them.

They have not given up the trophy in Serie A. They simply could not compete with the rest of the clubs such as Lazio, Napoli, Inter or even Juventus, who find themselves below Roma in the standings just because of the penalty. Mourinho is a good coach but Roma have been worse than Sevilla this season. They were lucky to make it to the final.

Anthony has become the main concern caused by there have been many pros or cons when he was become a referee for the final of europa league. Do not underestimate Medilibar, the guy has given his best to unite the team towards their goal. A coach is the one who brings true spirit of gameplay into the hearts of the players and in this case the credit goes to Mendilibar. I know that many people say that the guy isn't the best coach, but when a team wins we must appreciate the efforts of the coach. In some cases we misunderstand someone's abilities and we just follow the opinions of the crowd.

Mourinho coaching style and tactical approach may not have resonated with the Roma side leading to a disappointing result. While winning the league title is a remarkable achievement fans are understandably expecting more from a club with Roma history and resources. At the end of the day, football is a complex and unpredictable sport and individual perceptions of a manager performance may vary.

Something like this is bound to happen because there are indeed several conditions regarding his decision which do have big pros and cons in this matter and even if you look at the news on Roma and Mou, until now they have not accepted Sevilla's victory because Anthony's leadership is considered to be one of the detrimental conditions for they.
This is also not the first time he has had the same problem because several clubs like Chelsea have also protested against the leadership of this referee.
Now it looks like there is a little firm action from UEFA on this matter.
