How many of those  projects will survive until the next bull run? How much of that money is going to be stolen by developers that just wanted to scam people out of their money? How many people will never see that money again? Those are way more important questions than the fact that some projects are still raising millions of dollars on investments, so while some may think that it is a good thing that those projects are still getting some funding I do not think that is something good at all.

Investors never learned.   After all the hard crashes of NFT projects, they are still into investing thinking that being the first one to jump into the wagon will give them huge profit.  So basically, it is not surprising that millions of dollars are still being raised by the upcoming NFT/Metaverse even though we are at bear market.  The only losers in this kind of scenario are the people who come in last since they are the ones to be buying overpriced NFTs.

Yes, millions are still being raised, but a few months earlier we were seeing billions being raised billions. VC trackers like Dove show us a big drop in VC checks. Although there is still an investment, now he seems more focused on the early stage and with smaller checks. But it's just a matter of macro market momentum. Money will keep flowing, but now in a smarter way.

It will take more time before it all calm down. Possibly, this are the NFT projects that was expensive before but became cheaper and investors are taking advantage of it.
Just one push back up and it will be a sure profit for them. There are gems in the NFT market and I think the social media is also helping to raise such amounts.

NFT is one that can raise quite significant funds from the beginning, especially the play to earn game project, although now it is not like previous years maybe due to market influence or momentum that is starting to dim but we can join in it for a low price

I mean it is business anyway so it is their money and funding and that is up to them, it might partially be a bad news for them seem people seems to be selling their coins right now due to panic.
If those NFT projects are in its cheapest, then maybe there could be takeaway from it, but that is pretty much it honestly.

The bear market is a way of testing if the previous hyped projects can survive, but I'm still skeptical about what the OP is saying about fundraising.

If you are feeling skeptical and why don't you check it directly rather than try to assume if the trend was not going like what OP said above? this will far better rather than try to not believe with others said. It's better if you are checking it directly. So many projects are still able raising the funds for the development purpose. You will find bunch of new projects that were able to do that. By the way this trend was also happening since a few years ago.

Only those who are afraid of not believing in cryptocurrencies are skeptical. Crypto is still developing day by day, if your idea or project is good enough, they will still invest in it, whether the market is good or bad. Investing for the future, for the future, that's a long-term vision. Many of today's top projects are also born during bear season, bear season is a fear of weak, trashy projects but an opportunity for real projects, they have enough time to train themselves to prepare for a big bull season in the future.

I'm not sure what you are talking about but from what I saw, the entire market is down during this bear season. Metaverse and NFT projects, perhaps they are down first before the huge drops coming, people have no interest in them as what I know. And I can't really imagine hearing a surge, that is certainly a sort of manipulation - don't dare to invest that otherwise.

There is always a good or bad view of the market. I find short-term trends always leave things that we can say about them a lot, both for quick profits as well as risk in general. Although I am not a full supporter of this field, I do believe in the potential they create, but perhaps it is too far from reality or imagination from the hype about them.

Recently I was looking at statistics that venture capital platforms invested more in new projects than they did last year. This came as a surprise to me, given the current market uncertainty and the active phase of the crypto winter. Perhaps now venture capital platforms see the most value from investments, because in the future, with low costs, it will be much easier to pump such projects and get the most out of them. Exactly, it doesn't matter how much millions new projects are raised, some will fail and some won't but only those that add real world utilities will survive on the long run, my advice for everyone is to choose projects wisely and only invest money you are willing to lose.

Also how much raised do matter when we are talking about a new project, most of them are crowdfunding the team so that the team could continue to develop something good, or they are just scammers. But even people with the best of intentions would have to actually end up with something major in the funding part so that they could afford it.

So at the end of the day, millions are still raised because people know that they need to fund these projects in order for them to be good. If all people get together and pay 5k to a project, it won't take off and be good, so either everyone is in, or nobody should be in order for the project to have a result and not be in the middle.

Yeah the fact that millions are still being raised in times like these do fare well for future bull runs.  I'd like to think people hold until they squeeze out a profit so if all fund raising levels flattened or dropped I'd be worried.  Good times ahead I think.

Well, not all nft are really making it during this bear market as compared to the bull market, lots of nft tend to be rugging most especially Solana NFT but still yet we still have some nft that are doing good, either nft or trading, bear season always produce millionaires, imagine that you had positioned your self in a good short on bitcoin when it was trading around $40k and you used a leverage of just x10, to avoid being greedy, then a huge fund was used in trading it that's a decent good profit, or an altcoins like xrp and you shorted it when it was at $0.8 currently $0.3 with a good leverage and good fund that's an amazing profit

very few selected project is successful in raising funds this trend around. most of them are great quality project that could definitely make a huge success once the trend is changing.

You must also aware that if during the bear market as long as investors are getting hyped and they will always invest in a project. Basically that's a fundraising and the investors can also invest small amounts of money but the quantitiy become so much that makes the project able to raised millions of money from the market easily. that proves that if the intention to invest in the project is hardly getting affected by the market trend.

And if I may add, if the fundraising is done by known platforms like Binance, people are stilly buying because they have the hope that the project will take off. So if you want a lil bit of assurance, go to top launchpads and also study the project itself. You should not listen to the fud but you also need to do your own homework, learn the foundation of the project, their goals and plans.
