New technologies have always been greeted with hesitation by conservative people. I think most of the people who have negative views about the metaverse are conservative people. I think they will get used to this technology over time. Because the metaverse has a wide range of uses and I think it will become much more popular over time.

metaverse is so far quite complicated, it also requires technical knowledge in regard of the common technology that even the masses doesn't really have, if companies behind metaverse could make a simplified way of metaverse and also educating in regard of these technology then in the future it will have place in the world.

they can always find their audience for this aspect. however, the survival is in question. because will the community continue to support this if there will be new hype in the market? we don't know what the future may bring to this market. but we need to assess the survivability of this concept. but at this point, we know the metaverse is just in the early stages of their development, so we can't determine if it will be a hit or miss among the masses.

In crypto, there are already numerous trends we encounter from the beginning and the current one is Metaverse.

Almost all of that trend becomes hypes and big money circulates on the market. That hype also turned other users to bag more profit.

NFT first appeared in 2017 a lot of people think that there is no future for NFT and it is unlikely that NTF will be a good trend in the future.

Totally agree with you. Just because we're in a bear market and things are going down, people have started talking about the death of the NFT, the metaverse or even the web3. They assume all this is exaggeration and that it will go away when bear season comes around.

I can't confirm anything until the bear market is over, but I can say that the market is growing and we are growing more and more every day. We should not compare current trends with past trends like ICO. Why always compare dead things? I still believe that NFT, metaverse will always have a certain place in the market.

It doesn't really matter if metaverse is needed or not, it's just a matter of what everyone in the crypto space needs, the pattern of someone using a particular service really depends on the usage needs.

for now probably many people who do not believe and ignore the metaverse.
but the metaverse network has a good project and there's a pretty big community behind it.

I don't know about the Metaverse you are talking about, but for Virtual Reality (VR) people definitely need this kind of thing. It will be good for a simulation test, like flight simulation, complex surgery simulation, natural disaster contingency, .etc. But when most people say Metaverse what I have in mind is that roblox thing, and social media that use VR, and that's what most of crypto related metaverse product, and to be honest I don't think this kind of product will last.

But that tech requires a lot of R and D investment to grow bigger. Which means that it doesn't need to be fully on just one project, but it does need to be something that requires constant investment into projects all around, which means if one of them adds a new feature, the new ones will have that feature naturally and add something else on top of it and eventually the future projects will have all those features and reach to a point where it will be amazing.

This is why I believe that we should be looking out for the crypto world to become bigger by our investments even if we lose money on them, because we helped develop a new tech with our funding to it.

That might some of them have value and are needed by the community but the majority of them are just a clone and they will die soon.
It wasn't wise to choose them for long-term investment as they are just held short-term. Hypes projects won't stay long, that was the reality and these metaverses are an example. If we aim to invest cryptos and hold for many years, we have to stay away from them as they are not worth that to hold, they are fit for short-term likely during the bull season.

Yes. IMO, I am giving it a chance. It's good to have a wide range of options for investment. Besides, we are the ones who will decide if it's a necessity or not, a good investment or not, and there's likely a good future for it.
For OP, remember, Ethereum, BNB, and a lot of cryptocurrencies now did start from scratch. Actually, many did not believe and are now regretting it, that includes me. You may be dragged by the FUD that is being spread and realize soon it was too late to ride the boat.
There may be projects that will use Metaverse with a really good use case. We wait for that.
