Hello, I decided to move some XRP I had in Kraken to Binance, but the withdrawal was never received in Binance. I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly, or at least hope to.

This is my deposit address on Binance, I used the same deposit address and MEMO on Kraken, while I made sure the selected network was "Ripple"

Kraken shows that it has gone through, but I never received it on Binance. It was only a petty amount, but I was curious on what I did wrong. Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks in advance

Have you ever withdrawn your XRP from Kraken to Binance?

Basically, you should make a test withdrawal/ deposit first to check its operation and accuracy.

In addition, make sure you check in correct tab (Spot/ Funding). Even they are the same address, but if you choose to deposit directly to Spot but later check it in Funding, you won't see your XRP. But even so, you should receive an email notification for your successful deposit.

Everything seems fine on the status page: https://www.binance.com/en-AU/network

If you're confident that you didn't make any mistakes, I suggest you reach out to the binance support team.

Did you wait for about a few minutes? Because as far as I know, apart from the confirmations on the block explorer, Binance always have their required confirmation before they can credit your deposit into your account.

Alternatively, you can check out this article for self recovery methods since the txhash you posted says the tx is confirmed.

You did not do anything wrong based on these screenshots. Your deposit should be visible in your Binance account balance.
As OmegaStarScream suggested, it would be best if you contacted Binance support, or you can try Maus0728's suggestion first.

I have experienced this before, it was on another exchange to another exchange, but very similar issue. You did no mistake, contact Binance customer support. You coin is with Binance.

I contacted the exchange I wanted to the receive ripple and they told me the problem would be resolved and it was resolved after 2 days or 3 days. But it did not favour me as ripple falled in price massively during the time. It was the time SEC filed suit against ripple when some exchanges even dilised it.

Thanks in advance
From the looks of it everything looks fine. The only thing i can think of is that you're probably on binance futures or another derivative and kinda forgot to check your spot balance ?

If not just wait or contact support and see what they say about it.

Thank you all for your responses, I was really frustrated because I couldn't figure out what went wrong. It's a petty amount of 25 forgotten XRP on Kraken, which I wanted to transfer to Binance, since it's the only exchange I'm using.

Should I contact Binance via email or through their lost deposit form? Does it make any difference?

Once again, thank you everyone.

I think contacting them via email will prolong the timeframe you will wait. Instead, I suggest you head over to the How to Retrieve the Deposit that Hasn’t Arrived with Self-Service Recovery article. It should be designed to manage the kind of issue that you got, so, it should be the correct place to go.

If a transaction is confirmed, on chain, it should be in an address inside the wallet the user sent it to. Contact support to resolve it is the first thing to do.

Good lesson. I experienced it in the past too and I learned that we should not move our coins when a network is congested or has something big to come (fork, snapshot, etc.). It can cause higher demand than usual then network can be overloaded, and transactions in and out of exchanges will take more time to be credited to your account. If you don't want to have headache, don't move your coin in such time.

I can't understand what's wrong, I've filled all the required information, but the following error message pops up, "The currency, network, or amount of the TxID/TxHash do not match your input. Please confirm the details provided.". It's extremely frustrating, is it that complicated to withdraw XRP? I can't find any mistake concerning the withdrawal either and now I can't even request to resolve the deposit issue on Binance.

Currently talking to them via live chat. The agent is claiming that I have a different deposit address than the one I sent the coins to, but Binance deposit page shows otherwise. He's checking it now and will need a few minutes till he has an appropriate answer. Hopefully, it'll get resolved. Will report back if I have any news.

Edit: "Upon investigating the XRP address is rEb8TK3gBgk5auZkwc6sHnwrGVJH8DuaLh for all users and only the memo is different, please check in your Binance app by going to Spot wallet>Deposit Crypto>XRP and provide me a screenshot so I can report further."

Despite what the agent claims, it's still showing me the address I used.

Alright, that's weird. AFAIK, exchanges do use a one-for-all address for cryptocurrencies like XRP or XLM and they credit the account based on the memo tag.

Based on the CS information, the mentioned address information does refer to Binance(https://bithomp.com/explorer/rEb8TK3gBgk5auZkwc6sHnwrGVJH8DuaLh). But if I look into the address you've sent the fund to, it is activated by Uphold and there is no destination information tag required(https://bithomp.com/explorer/rp7bXSnsuBiw8x2z3ZZfx4SiN9N9QCy3tC).

I roughly search what Uphold is all about, but if you look at their Reddit sub, there are a lot of bad reviews.

Can you confirm that, if you use a different device to open up Binance, it still shows that particular address?

As you said this can be a clone site but when I checked the we address from the screenshot then everything looks normal so I don't know where the issue starts.

Based on checking the transaction history of the address the number of transaction count is very less so it may not be the original address of Binance since we all know how much transactions were made into that exchange wallet every minute.

That is very strange indeed. The address mentioned by Ultegra134, rp7bXS... was activated for the first time only twenty minutes before his transaction and has only five incoming transactions. It definitely doesn't look like a Binance hot wallet address. If each user had a unique address (as is the case with Bitcoin or Litecoin), there would be no other transactions. However, if the addresses were identical for all users, then there would be many more incoming transactions.

Maybe the OP's computer is infected by some type of malware that changes the Binance deposit address without his knowledge? Like a clipboard hijack attack. Is something like that even possible?

It is possible. A shady plugin/extension that is present on a browser can see what is being presented to the user, they may specifically find a cryptocurrency address and then changed it directly to the page. That's the most likely scenario. But, if OP answers my last question above, it should confirm whether it is true or not.

Okay, here's the latest update. As you've also mentioned, Binance has one XRP address, only the MEMO changes each time, which is assigned per user, something that was also confirmed by Binance's support agent. A quick Google search also confirms it.

That doesn't occur with the address I sent the money to. On top of that, like other users suggested, the XRP address I sent the money to has balance. The Binance agent asked me to check Binance's app to see what address it shows, to my surprise, it showed the one he had mentioned. I'm frustrated at this point, and he mentions that I possibly have a malware.

I'm dumbfounded and proceed to check what address it shows if I were to deposit Bitcoin. It showed the following, 16Adp6PaLTDqejGo4W4Yy8kzixgQVwFoEx, I ask the agent to confirm if it's indeed Binance's address, but it wasn't. Of course it's not, BTC addresses are assigned per user and have no prior transactions. A quick look at a Blockchain explorer confirms that.

I also checked the BTC address on the app, and it was the one the agent mentioned.

Edit: I don't know why, but my tab crashes each time I search the fake XRP or other coin address.

Edit 2: The solution has been posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5409045

Well, that is concerning.

Does it also happen when you open up Binance on a different browser(preferably a default settings/configurations one where there is no extension)? If it is, then your whole computer is compromised.

Back to the address, the XRP address is being created by Uphold. There are 2 possibilities, the hacker is using Uphold for the address receiver or the Uphold itself is the culprit.

I'm not surprised this kind of malware exists, but do you have any idea why you got this kind of malware? Like, any program or any browser extension that you installed recently?

I think there is a third possibility. The address was activated by the Uphold because that's where the first transaction came from. If the OP's transaction was the first, it would probably say that it was activated by Kraken. Uphold may not have anything to do with this as it seems to be just another exchange, and someone was probably just trying to withdraw their funds to Binance or some other address.
