Miners don't buy 3050s so if you want to start mining don't buy one. If you already have one the question is moot,
you can try mining with it and observe for yourself. You will be disappointed. Real GPU mining needs a GPU with 8 GB of VRAM or more.

This is a weak video card for mining, it is better to look at more productive models.

For just 50-100 dollars more than the price of the 3050 you can buy the 3060 card which makes almost double the performance compared to this card.

That's a good graphic card for gaming, if you already buy quickly sell back or go back to your store and swap for another, this gpu is not good for crypto mining, not even close so I hope you sell very fast before Ethereum goes pos, at that time I except GPUs to become more cheaper.

That is really a nice price for that card.Where I live which is extremely far away from US the best value is 499 USD for Rtx 3060 right now and I am planning to build a rig with such cards after September when people will panic from Ethereum mining ending and sell their cards in a hurry,I believe in such moment it is where I should act and buy one such card for a max price of 250 USD so build a nice extra rig with 6 cards for just 1500 and a bit more dollars.

Wow 😮  where are you guys getting all these cheap graphic cards? That 3060 RTX is still 520$ in my country, for 47MH per 400$ GPU is a very good price, I don't know why RTX won't go down here right now only GTX and RX cards are dirty cheap right now.

in canada the lower I see is 379.38 usd for 3060 but the shitty model with only 1 fan lol...

Price is maybe low but its not a very efficient card, I prefer buy 6700xt (474.80) same hashrate but it'll scale better with lower watt use(75w vs 115w and better cooling)

for the core subject, the 3050 is to avoid lol

Are you using NiceHash for those results? I just got mine recently but it's LHR v2.

Now in my country, 470/480 8 GB video cards are sold for $160. Video cards 570/580 from $200 because they are newer. 4GB versions cost about $100 and even a little cheaper. But there are less than 40 days left. In China, new 3060 Ti video cards cost from $500.

That's cheap, I remember buying 6 gtx 1660 just to get 145MH using 400watt from the wall, silicon lottery luck on two of those cards, and it cost me 2000$ at that time, very early this year, around January of 2022... Life goes on, I hope I can see more good price like yours.
