Another way to put the myth is if you play every day you will eventually recover all the money you have lot from the previous days. Or maybe something in the line of double the money you may have lost. I also want to add that another myth may be that if you have good intentions of what to do with the money, you will eventually win with. Such good intentions may include giving a percentage to the poor or   using your winnings to payoff some debts.

Haha. I haven't met a single person who thinks that good intentions for using the money they win will help them win at gambling. That's absurd.

For that matter, many religions believe that gambling and alcohol are inventions of the devil. Therefore, it is more logical to believe that if you use the money you win for debauchery, it will increase your chances of winning.)

This Myth 3 is simply the reason I nearly dropped out of school that year before I eventually come to realized the fact that the longer I keep playing to win, the more I will keep on counting my losses. I could remember a friend who used to geared me up with this myth and I foolishly believed. But come to think of it, what's the motive behind these myths? I mean why can't we be truthful to ourselves on the realities  of gambling? Is it necessary to deceive ourselves with the myths? Smh

If we don't play we don't have a chance to win... simple as that! If we keep playing we have some chances and we hope that we will hit something big eventually... before we get busted! The fact is that a lot depends on someone's character and how someones gamble and which games... if you choose some skill-based game with time you will get more skilled and you will have higher chances of winning when it comes to how much profit/loss you can have that depends from the bankroll you have for gambling! There are people who never gamble a lot, they have some bankroll that's going up or down, but they never have big losses as some others who are chasing big wins with lucky-based games!

None of us can know what awaits us in gambling in 5-10 minutes, but we do know that the casino has an advantage over the user, which means that with the increasing number of attempts to play the probability that you will lose more money than you earn increases. That is why you should treat gambling as an entertainment and not an opportunity to make money. There are many other less risky activities to earn money.

The only thing that keeps people coming back is the false hope that this time they are going to hit a big win.This is for normal people who do not believe superstitions and thus none of these myths relate to them.For the other type of persons who may be impacted by different beliefs,to each one of them may be affected by any of these myths.

That 3rd myth is the most destructive of every other to health,money,family and work life,by chasing your losses you keep losing more so I would definitely not follow it as a bare minimum in order to not suffer such destructive actions.

Maybe for you, gambling is not for making money. Believe it or not, I thought about gambling to earn money, and thought at point 11, maybe I'm lucky and can win today, and keep playing until I lose everything. This is just one example of what I've experienced before. If I tell about the gambling habits where I live, there are those who really gamble to have a lot of money. Myths or it starts with just a simple fun game from a circle of friends.

Well, for how long have you been playing in the casino to get that jackpot?

None of the above myths got me addicted, maybe excessive pleasure that made me become an addict in the past, I don't think there is a myth but rather think about facts. I started gambling when I was just a kid with card games, as once year we have a festival known as diwali wherein we gamble to seek a positive luck. It worked sometimes but when you become greedy it never went positive. Since the amount was small and it was an early stage, it did not bothered me. As time passed by I understood a few principal about gambling, which are still helpiing me. Those are, forget about the loss, play with small amount and if you lose forget it. This myth is totally opposite of the reality or at least it is for me. The more you play, the more you will lose in gambling. This is what i have experienced.

If you want to be successful in gambling, then STOP playing as soon as you start to lose and again STOP playing as soon as you won in gambling. Not playing more may give you more wins.
