Shiba Inu pumping , why? Hold or Sell?

I have 20 million Shiba Inu that I bought a few months ago and forgot about , it is one of the smaller positions in my portfolio.

Just wondering why it is pumping and realistically what this can reach in 2 or 3 years?

Not sure if I should sell all and re invest in one of my larger positions or if I should just hold the 20 million I have and see what price it reaches in a few years?

Theres a lot of hype going on and possible manipulations by whale.  Saw some big bought on shiba but Im not sure what triggers them to buy it.  Maybe they hinted some big big news on that.  Usually if theres a whale buying bulk of tokens means they have some hint on that.  So on the retailers whom followed the whales.

Try to set a stop loss on your entire Shiba position, in case the coin undergoes a dump. And in case of an increase in the price, move the stop loss higher, so you will fix the profit. And when this profit reaches the amount that suits you, you can close your order.

i just sold it and waiting for the price to drop again and i will buy it back cheap, i'm just an active trader and not very familiar with shiba , i just know they have a lot of community who love this project sincerely and support it just like dogecoin community , so you can take your own decision to take this moment

You forget about the hype and the manipulation currently working for SHIB, and if you are still not contented with the profit then you can still hold and wait for the price peak of this trend, you should not expect that much though. I also have som SHIB bought at a higher price sometime ago, I think there’s still a chance for SHIB as long as the market enters into another bull market, just watch out for the hype.

Does there have to be any reason as to why a certain coin get a mini pump?
I see doge also pumped, though not so much.

Bottom line, the coin like many coins was a good buy a few months ago (May) as it had really dipped hard. Enjoy the profits if you bought below $0.00001

Are you following Shiba Inu developments so that you will know more about why this increase is realistic because there will indeed be updates to come, I only saw the news at a glance but I am not a Shiba Inu token holder.
Within 24 hours this token is up 35% maybe you have earned a decent profit to take or sell some and put it back in part so the decision is yours.
If sure in the next few months about this hike then hold on to Shiba, they have a strong community to trust this token.

This is a normal scenario since we came from a bear market and since SHIB has a huge community hyping the project, that pump is pretty obvious. Don’t get hyped by the trend, try to analyze and if you are able to bough at a cheaper price then taking profit might be a good idea.

As long as people see this to be anything more than hype, Shiba will survive and even make a lot of people a lot of money and that is the main reason why people invest. So if you are willing to invest into something that is going up only because people like it and there is absolutely no other reasonable logic to buy it, then you should buy it. All those mainnet, game, etc etc stuff are just hype creation tools, all that they are working on are things that have been done a million times before and nothing special, boring old stuff and not a big deal. But many gets hyped about it because they like it, even love it. So thats it, people love it, and thats why it goes up, and if you love it too, hold it.

this is just a market phenomenon, if there is a chance, don't let it go, take and use it. we don't know if in the future the price is still the same as today or more low. but you are late to take advantage.

Don't be too greedy maybe that's the right word to describe it, shiba just wants to build the hype that's happening right now, remember we're still in a bear market so I assume this is just a temporary pump. I hope I'm wrong.

This is what I am thinking also, if the OP is already in profit, why not think of selling it? You'll never see if this opportunity will come again. In my opinion, in another 2-3 years, I believe SHIB is barely surviving, as people may be tired of hyping up this token. But as a holder, it is always your own prerogative when to sell, just follow your own instincts as it is your token.

Getting some listed in new exchange sites and adaoption may come again. It seems like that if shiba was recovering due to the bitcoin. I think that if you shall see how it was also growing up but you can expect new ATH above the old price as the price that can be achieved by shiba inu. The sky was the limit but if we must become realistic about the price and reaching the new ATH may happen in the next bullish trend.

a good answer is SELL!, don't be greedy if you don't want to make mistakes again, SHIB did go up today,
and it's an increase of more than 30%, of course this is a high percentage for an increase,
you can SELL and can buy back again when the price corrects again.

Checked their Twitter and the most recent news about development was about their game. I think the recent pump was too much for it to call just that, so it might've been a whale that's temporarily pumping it with the game dev announcement being a coverup for it. Would set up stop-loss and just adjust it if the price continues to rise up. I'd think you'd be able to profit in the short term considering how the hype about the new releases they'd have would probably last for a bit. Maybe until the release of the game.

You must be happy why it pumps and don't bother to find the reason for this is how the market works. But have to remember as well that these hypes can't be long and stay forever, sell them if you are already satisfied and never be greedy. As to tell you that Shiba Inu is a meme coin, as per to see how Dogecoin is performing, that can be possible with Shiba Inu. Thus, if you would like to invest in a project for the long term, this project is not really the best choice to be made.
