Bitcoinism is a kind of new Religion. It is a financial religion, where, some one said, Satoshi Nakamoto is a Horse. Imagine, Satoshi Nakamoto is a Horse with one Horn. It is Unicorn. If you imagine Satoshi Nakamoto with two horns, he will look like Bull or Baffalow. If Satoshi Nakamoto is Just with Three horns, he will be look like God Jupiter with his Triton.

If, one can imagine Satoshi Nakamoto with his Samurai Sword, it will make him Supream God of Nippon.

If Satoshi Nakamoto is an Alien, that will make him an Angel. Ange mean anger and El mean Elohim.

But if Satoshi Nakamoto is White Horse with two wings, he Pegaseus the Father God of Zeus.

Now, most of the people sow how believe and worship God to hgo to heaven after death.  If Bitcoinism is a religion, it need a Paradise like Utopia. Where all the Faithful Bitcoin believers will go there to enjoy life with prawn cocktails and champaign not after their death but right now here on this earth. If some one think that Satoshi Nakamoto mined the Block #1 after Six Days and he was pretending to be God who has descended to bring Economic justice in the world then What is wrong ?  All the prophets were send down to the earth to guide mankind learning way of religious ethics to help each others, like wise Satoshi Nakamoto is Horse who has descended to this earth from Niburu with a mission Bitcoinism.

This is the Dispensation, " Hearken O people , poor and humble, greedy and thieves, " there is no religion except Bitcoinism and Satoshi Nakamoto is God of Money" when you recite it, you become a bitcoiner. You then eligible to enter the Inner Circle to meet Satoshi Nakamoto to get his further blessing. You will become rich and never get hungry.

360 Commandments

1. Thou shall not Fork Bitcoin, he who fork Bitcoin shall be forked and it will be cryptographocally register in the Blockchain.

2. Thou shall not scam any one to make profit.

3. Thou shall not impersonate Satoshi Nakamoto.

4. Thou shall not cheat thy own Bitcoiners.

5. Thou shall keep Blockchain clean from bugs and virus.

I read every word you wrote and can't say I'm glad I did. You have the wrong idea of what Bitcoin is. There is no relationship between Bitcoin and religion. How you came to that conclusion is incredible.
You're 355 commandments short. And some sinners already broke the commandments.

360 Commandments

1. Thou shall not Fork Bitcoin, he who fork Bitcoin shall be forked and it will be cryptographocally register in the Blockchain.

Bitcoin Cash was forked from Bitcoin.

360 Commandments
2. Thou shall not scam any one to make profit.
Scammers should read this and change their ways from Mt. Gox to the social media scammers.

3. Thou shall not impersonate Satoshi Nakamoto.
Craig Wright among others.

4. Thou shall not cheat thy own Bitcoiners.

You should browse the forum more often. Scam Accusations

5. Thou shall keep Blockchain clean from bugs and virus.

Or you can imagine him with two horns as a jackalope, which makes a bit more sense, as a horse he sucks big time and the most annoying thing of all is that he won in one of the only two races I haven't bet on him

If Satoshi Nakamoto is Just with Three horns, he will be look like God Jupiter with his Triton.

You mean trident, Triton is Poseidon's son, and you're obviously mistaking Jupiter for Neptune.

If, one can imagine Satoshi Nakamoto with his Samurai Sword, it will make him Supream God of Nippon.

Yeah but no, Izanagi obviously had no samurai sword and actually created the world with the help of a spear

If Satoshi Nakamoto is an Alien, that will make him an Angel. Ange mean anger and El mean Elohim.

So angels are aliens, yeah right. Also, ange doesn't mean anger, for god's sake! Pun intended!

But if Satoshi Nakamoto is White Horse with two wings, he Pegaseus the Father God of Zeus.

Let's like really really make a whole mess out of the entire greek mythology as we're here, right?
I mean all religions are just a bunch of fairytales put together but at least some of them are well written, you started really wrong!

And as all religions, we've reached the dark part, where as usual all you have to do is pray to somebody and you will be rich and live a life without troubles without doing anything else than kiss some diety ass all day long. Don't you think this sounds more like the devil's work?

I'm surprised there's no commandments which have similar meaning with "Don't trust, verify". It's one of most common phrase mentioned on Bitcoin community.

along with
"not your key, not your coin"
"buy low sell high"

Are you high?

I'm surprised there's no commandments which have similar meaning with "Don't trust, verify". It's one of most common phrase mentioned on Bitcoin community.
Ironically, religion is based on "Don't verify, but trust", which is the exact opposite of bitcoin, transparency, science in general.

1. Thou shall not Fork Bitcoin, he who fork Bitcoin shall be forked and it will be cryptographocally register in the Blockchain.
Ok, you're definitely high. As for forks, no problem. Just find the necessary consensus.  Smiley

This would make a good movie lol. I think the Crypto-currency era and the raise of Bitcoin is probably unreal and many times people then to term something that's unreal and surprising in the religion way. But that's not its Bitcoin is just a crypto-currency which has given its enthusiasts all they ever wanted in a financial system, if you consider that a religion then good for you.

Bitcoinism is a kind of new Religion.

No it's not. Full stop. Religion is a belief in supernatural forces. There's nothing like that in Bitcoin community. No one believes that Satoshi is a god. In fact most people don't think about Satoshi at all. He is a part of Bitcoin's history rather than the present. It's mostly the newbies who are fascinated with his mystery rather than the experienced bitcoiners, because experienced bitcoiners know that Bitcoin is an idea and a community project, rather than Satoshi's property.

Also add- Thou shalt not put any shitcoin before thee (Bitcoin)  lol.  Agree, Bitcoin is not a religion but this won't stop some hustlers from incorporating it into a quassi- religion to swindle folks, and you know some would fall for it.

religion began when the pharohs and then greek leaders would get killed for introducing laws their citizens didnt like, other leaders of trust such as ministers of ancient roman times started making laws by saying some of them had a lightbulb moment of a law, a voice they heard that told them whats best for people or where those ministers wrote that some peasant or average joe had some miracle meeting with a magic man years prior (to avoid anyone questioning the peasant/average joe as they would then be dead due to it being over 100 years since the proclaimed event happened). this is where the ancient rome turned into christianity

ancient religion was just a law book of rules but without a human leader that can be slaughtered/questioned
eg no one can question a law if no one can meet the lawmaker
(secretly it was a bunch of ministers(religious priests administrating the laws)
but wording the laws not as harsh rules. but as fables and campfire stories of moral reasons for the laws followed by a consequence that no one can defend against

EG ancient rome before religion allowed gay sex marriage outside of wedlock, but that caused alot of sexually transmitted disease so they needed a way to stop the spread, by outlawing it. by saying its a sin. same with sex outside of marriage to stop random sex and instead get people to control whom they had sex with via waiting for a special person to do it with that they would stay with and only do it with that one person. yep all them sins of ancient times were just laws to curb the spread of std's, theft, harm

modern day laws are made by groups of guys too (senators/ministers), but less of the vapour fall guy that lives in the sky talk... where by they hide a patsy/target by having too many people involved to have any single person claimed as the law maker. and the ignorant view that because citizens voted their representative of the group of lawmakers in. its the citizens fault for bad laws. (shift blame away from senate/congress parliament. to then blame conservative/republican/liberal/labour parties/groups and their followers(voters) for the law passing

thus not a single target to chase if people didnt like a law, but the ignorant view that if people dont like a law. they can vote someone different in a few years.

it is also used as an excuse to reduce the chance of undoing a law by again not having a single guy that is able to undo a law

core do the same now..
bitcoin is not AI code that self creates new or adapted rules..
but where some use the satohsi pretext of who made bitcoin and decided the laws. where satoshi the secret entity no one meets. yet reality is the core of modern bitcoin rule changes (2011-2022+) is where core are the modern rule makers now. not satoshi... and users do not have ability to change rules outside the commit merges of core. yet core try to say that bitcoin laws are a product of users votes, even though core is the only choice these days. and core do mandatory activations and soft activations even if users dont have the majority of code ready to accept the new rules should it activate

so you can start to see some similarities where some believe in the senators false 'decentralisation' (no central point, even though the capital building is a central point)
same as core say they are decentralised devs (no central point even though core github is a central point)

the fallacy of citizen control and voting. even though users dont actually vote on rules, they follow rules
the fallacy of user code control/voting. even though core devs decide when and how to deploy new rules. (as tested with mandatory activation 2017 and soft activation recently)

core pretend they are not the law makers/changers. when they obviously are. even the lead maintainer admits to this now he is slowly resigning from lead status

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.

Bitcoin Dispensation:

1. Before the beginning there was Nothing except a Bit. Then the bit clone itself and multiplied. That was the beginning. Then the second bit ran around the Original Bit and paid homage for respect to the Mother Board. When the second encircled the Mother Bit and created and coil it turned into a coin.

2. Then the coin enter inside the Mother Bit and the Mother Bit got empregnant. In a gradual process the a mother bit start become bigger and bigger until it burst out and created the Bitcoin Big Bang. The Bitcoin Big Bang formed the Cosmoss. That was ultimate beginning of the Universe. When this was happening there was no one to witness it beside Satoshi Nakamoto. Then Satoshi Nakamoto wrote it down the full history of Formation in a book called the Book of Satoshi.

3. There after, about 21 million years later Satoshi saw that out of the Universe came a beam of Light who came to Satoshi saying, Oh my Benevollent Everlast father, at list grant me a name by what I shall be known in the future. Then Satoshi said, thou shall be known as God and I must write your name and cryptographically sign it and publish it in the Blockchain. That was the Genesis Block. Thus the God came into existence who created heaven and the Earth. This God appeared to Mosses and gave 10 Commandments, which is written in the Book of Genesis.

4. Later the story of the Book of Genesis became a Religious indoctrination to brainwash the children of Jacob by Rabbi Judah Ben Hashem.

5. Now, Satoshi Was the Grand Father of God who appeared to Moses and gave 10 Commandments. Now The Grand Father of God Satoshi has come and given 360 Commandments. Who has given Bitcoin and Blockchain which is Purely Cryptographic covenant of the Bitcoinism.

6. If you are a bitcoiner and do not follow the Bitcoinsm mean you are not the legitimate bitcoiner and thou shall go to prison like Dread Pirate Robert and Markus Karpheleus and also like Charly Shremeus. If you prefer not to go to prison thou shall do Bitcoin business by abiding the 360 Commandments who Satoshi has given to follow for your benefits.

I don't think for many is a religion while for me has become one, every time I run out of money from my monthly salary I sell some of my Bitcoins that I made through mining everyday the biggest chunk of them, the one I earn from my signature are spent on gambling.I like the commandments though, really nice ones and you have written them like the text of my favorite book which is "The richest man of Babylon" which teach us financial literacy and wisdom kinda like what Bitcoin has done to our world lately.

Ironically, religion is based on "Don't verify, but trust", which is the exact opposite of bitcoin, transparency, science in general.
Religions are different but usually the principles must be verified then trusted. In fact in Islam for example it is not even allowed to accept the five principles blindly. I still wouldn't call bitcoin a religion though, that's just silly. Tongue
The commandments in OP aren't correct either like "Thou shall not Fork Bitcoin" since bitcoin is open source under MIT license it allows others to fork it freely.

i dont believe there is a religion.. but lets have some fun with this topic
i amended your commandments to sound more realistic to how things are, should be

360 Commandments

1. Thou shall not contentious Fork Bitcoin, he who shall contentious fork, shall be banished to the realms of crapcoin altism, rejected by bitcoin

2a. Thou shall not scam any one to make profit.
2b. Thou shall not cheat thy own Bitcoiners.   (both same thing)

3. Thou shall not impersonate Satoshi Nakamoto.

4. thou shall not allow central points of failure to continue

5. Thou shall keep Blockchain usage clean from bugs and virus.

Religion mean Reli- Gion. It is an institution a cultural community who evolve on principles of similarity on the basis of faith and business conducts in fascinating falsehood of spiritualism, which they exploit in the name of God Adonai Elohim. Who was first twin sons of The Master of the Celestial Mountain of Garikus, in the Cosmic Valey known as Nibiru.

You seems very intelligent. This is why Satoshi has chosen you and upgraded the old ID Franky to Franky1 and given to you to become a good disciple of the Satoshi through his Bitcoin Talk Forum.

* scamming mean scamming general public and investors but cheat mean cheating your own kinds or Bitcoiners.

I think Satoshi will appear and return the Commits Key to Gavin Bell known as Andresen. Or Satoshi might chose someone else and give the Bitcoin Core Commits Key.

You could be a good candidate if you want to become responsible person. Contact Satoshi for a proposal about who should be the Lead Maintainer of Bitcoin Core ?

nice comedy topic. but. now your going a bit too far down the spiritual speak.

and no i dont want to be the lead maintainer. never have. and no one should be in such a position of control

bitcoin does not need satoshi to return. and satoshi has no back door to take back control if he did return

what actually needs to be done is to get back to the basic bitcoin principles of decentralisation by removing the central point of failure

even with the modern "president"(lead maintainer) presiding over the senate of core(merge privileged devs).. now saying he is retiring and actually whistle blowing the central point of failure. we should listen to that whistle blowing and start to realise the control core has as a central point of failure

especially in regards to pretending they are just janitors or messengers. of code rules. where reality they act like gods that no one can touch

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Religion is an open-ended word, doesn't mean one religion, doesn't mean a style of religion, doesn't mean that it has to be similar to each other neither. What it means is that we are talking about what people have faith in and if you have faith in bitcoin then it's fine. This is why we should be focusing a bit more towards searching what we believe in and what we have faith in.

If you think that you believe in bitcoin and you have faith in bitcoin to show you a better future, then it would be great for you and you could consider that as your religion. Considering there is also a creator of bitcoin that nobody knows about, that mystery does work for it as well.

I don’t even understand how one can even consider Bitcoin a religion. I don’t think they have any relativity. This is just useless and a waste of time.
