How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed)

I am very curious to know how people are playing Slots.

Option A : Do you play one slot for a long time, until you hit the feature or until you win something big?

when I have big capital ? and wanted to enjoy the game and try my chances in winning? then this is what i do and it only happens sometimes.

Option B : Do you jump between different slots, play for a while and then jump to the next slot?

and this is my strategy when I am desperate to win , when I have only enough amount but wanted to double if not triple my money.

Option C : Do you set a target amount for each Slot and then stay with that?

I more do option B, especially if I feel that I will not get anything interesting in the slots, but sometimes I can also stay in one of these slots depending on the funds I deposit at the casino if it is only small because I am feeling bored with the activities that I do, then I will only play that one game until the funds run out or if I'm lucky I can get a good one.

Maybe it's because it depends on the mood we have when playing slots.
Sometimes I feel it when playing slots and switching to other slot games.
But in the end, if I don't find anything interesting, I decide to stop because it can lead to defeat because we can't focus on playing slots anymore.
If we can enjoy one slot game, we will play in one game and not move to another until we stop later.

Same here, I also think option B gives me more chance of winning since I noticed that slots are somehow generous on the first few spins, then continuously giving dead spin when we played it for too long.  We all know that slot is a game of chance and it depends on luck whether we hit the bonus round or not but I can say the first 50 spins somehow give a better reward, the only thing that is good in long playing is when the RTP kicked in.

It is actually very interesting to see the different strategies that people follow to play Slots. A lot of my friends are also gamblers and some of them ignore "Variance" and "RTP" and "Client Seed" etc..... they say it comes down to "timing" and "luck".

A lot of them will look at what the "Streamers" and "highrollers" are playing and then they will jump in, if these people are not winning. (Hoping to grab some of the money that these people are pushing into these Slots)  - They believe that all bets goes into one "Pot" for each of these individual games.

Some of them believe that "timing" are crucial.... so they will play when people from large countries are awake and at home. They even play at the most insane times to "cash in" on this supposed "Golden hours".

~ So if you play a Slot with a good house edge / RTP.... you can play a lot longer and get some small wins on a more frequents basis. I do not play long on those type of Slots.... I win something small.... and jump to the next Slot... and repeat this.. until I have acquired a decent bankroll ... to move to the high variance Slots.  

It's true, but it doesn't mean your win, even just a small one, is guaranteed when you play slots with "good" RTP. If it were so, if among thousands of slots just only one was such that allowed you to gradually win small amounts, it would be a money making machine. You could just put it on autoplay and do some other activities, while your bankroll would be growing little by little.

Please do mind that every spin outcome is independent from each other, same goes with betting the same number in lottery games. So I think it doesn't matter how long or how short you play in a slots game.  If you trigger the winning bonus spin, it will come out regardless you play 1 spin or thousand spins.  So I don't believe to stay in a slot for too long.  I am not saying you are wrong though, since we have different preference when it comes to playing slots.  I prefer the jumping method which is in option B.

Good day. Oh, interesting question. I really like variety, so I constantly try different slots. I'm not trying to achieve a perfect result in a certain slot, because I'm not playing for the sake of the result, but for the sake of the process itself. I really like slots with a bright visual style. It's very good if you can win money. If it doesn't work out, it's still okay.

I rarely play on slots but when I do I either play similar to option B or Option C. since I rarely play slots I like to try out several slots when I do play and If I found the one that I like I set a target amount until I reach it or I decided to stop my gambling session. as for which strategy would lead to maximum profits? slots are luck-based games so I don't really know.

We are all do it all at once and in the end got busted , timing to quit is not enough as even you did it to quit in huge profit such 10000% or so , you'll have to comeback and trying to hit that achievement over and over again causing your past profit get all lost , that's most of the case i found in myself and people around me.

Not sure i can afford to come back and play slots again , i've tried everything yet failed , irony in me.

Gambling is a booming business, which means there are millions or billions of people playing at it every day and I don't think all of these people get's busted but there will be some of them that will go home with some profits. Also, not all people have the same play style, this is why the op have putted 3 option in his post. Timing to quit is better than not quitting at all then losing your win on the same day. That is more depressing.

Those who win and quit, has a tendency that they will spend some of their money before going back to the game again so they don't lose it all. If you think you have no luck in slots then maybe slots isn't the game for you? You better play other games.

B. I often jump slots to other games I feel a little bored and less interesting so I move on, I'm just trying my luck this way.

C. Of course I have set a target of how much money should be played from this game, and if the game is more fun and exciting I stay in the game and don't move.

But every strategy is different, indeed sometimes I random what I want.

you shouldn't be disappointed. You have to focus on the slot you are playing. sometimes others are lucky in the beginning but lose at the end. The perception of disappointment does not have to be in the gambler because it can cause emotions when you are chasing victory. The three options mentioned by Op the average gambler have done that, even myself in playing slots if you already get a big multiplier then it's better to jump to another slot because it's impossible to get a big multiplier again if you previously got a big multiplier.

First of all the table always wins in gambling. We must not forget this. Most slot machines operate on a thirty percent out seventy percent in logic. Seventy percent in, thirty percent out. I don't think gambling companies will interfere with these machines. Because every spin of every game is recorded and the winning rates of the machines are determined from the beginning. But constantly switching from one machine to another will cost you money. Playing slots by staying on the same machine is more profitable than changing machines. These are my experiences. I feel like it may be better to stick to one machine as we all know machines have some lucky loops so one can hit you, lose after lose.

I don't think there's a loophole on each slots games, it's just a matter how lucky you're and it's not programmed you will get a huge multiplier in specific spins after 100x, 500x, 1000x and so on. The RTP on each slots are calculated for long term play with different interval, I don't think you would stick to one machine for 7 days in a row isn't? you would be bored and want to try other games. After all it's depends on your luck.

In a second thought I think you are right. I was thinking about daily calculations although after your post I realized that they don't need to measure it daily. And very likely its longer than a day. As you said people would be easily bored after like 5-10 games anyways. So it depends on luck on long run. That kind of luck doesn't exactly differ with different methods.

I usually use option B, but still, since I am not an avid player, I also often just make one-time bets and, regardless of the outcome of the game, I try not to continue, I just leave the casino, but if the funds allow, I try games in different slots.

I've brought up this conversation before and kind of got a lock of flack for suggesting that there might be some legitimate ways to learn how to get an advantage when playing.  It sort of seemed like there's no proof at all that any strategies work, however my buddy and I who've I've been going to casinos with since we were of age, always would play slots after a player had sat on them for hours on end.  Likely zero true advantage here, but it was a strategy that we liked and ended up working a decent bit.
