In an online casino, as far as my experience is concerned playing here, I think there's no such thing as a casino that will offer direct cash rewards as an incentive for visiting. I think it's better to choose the free spins because I think it's more fun. with the Bonus you get maybe you will get greater luck by winning the game and also if you lose you don't regret it because this defeat is just a bonus for you. but depending on the respective principles there are those who are more interested in accepting cash deposits. But in general the bonuses given are always in the form of free spins and even then the nominal is very small, so getting a win from the free spins bonus is very difficult to happen.

This is what I was thinking also, if you chose cash, they may just give you very small amount.
So you may think of just choosing the free spins to play with your luck once more.
It depends on how much cash reward they are giving, if it is more than enough to withdraw, then maybe, I'll opt for cash.
But if not, just select the free spins. And just play again. Most of the time, the cash reward is very small you won't be encouraged to get it.

Direct cash reward is going to be more valuable for the gambler of course. But free spins are probably cheaper to provide for the casino, and yet they're still seen as something positive for the gambler.

So, if I was running a casino I would probably use free slots instead of direct cash reward. Specially since many gamblers will just try to trick the system and create multiple accounts for the free money, etc.

It is not really hard to choose one between the two options provided. Of course I would choose direct cash reward. If I need the money for something else I could decide not to play with it anymore and withdraw it later on or I could also use it for more spins. At least I have the option.
