I have been running Ethos for mining a couple of years, and it have been working great.
But with the up-coming ethmerge I'm thinking it's time to switch OS on some of my rigs.

I have a couple of windows computers running NiceHash and it works pretty great on the returns.
At daily basis I work only with Microsoft environment, so I'm more happy with windows than linux commands.

Before switching all the rigs I would like to know if anyone have compared the the output from Nicehash on Win11 compared with the Nicehash OS?

The OS works just like the win10 and 11 so go ahead, to me the best mining OS will always be Hive OS, everything a miner ever needed is available in the OS, and also HiveOS deals with any GPU issues quicker than other OS, if you are using AMD graphic cards its better to try out HiveOS.

Thanks for the reply.

Maybe I should have said that I only have Nvidia cards.

I love the way that Nicehash automatically switches between different algorithms according to what each graphics card can perform best at.

But after taking a quick look at HiveOS (who looks awesome), I have found a guide on how to do something similar...

Yes Nicehash auto switch feature is incredible but there is a catch, Ethereum algorithm safe more electricity than others, if you have free electricity then no problem, if your rig switch to Ergo or Ravencoin you will be paying more on your electricity bill, I have a 1660 super that use 60watt on Ethash and 80watts on Ravencoin and SuperSero.

Electricity is no problem in my case, since the racks are in the basement where I work.

I agree that Ethereum algorithm is good (and my current rigs are tuned for eth), but I'm thinking alternatively for the graphic cards since mining eth will stop in 19days...

That's why we have whattomine website to track which coin is the most profitable to mine, you can mine Flux, Ravencoin, Ergo, Conflux, Super sero, Ethereum Classic or the new Ethereum PoW.
