The effects of the upcoming ethereum merge

I had always thought that Ethereum maintaining its rank as the second in crypto-currency it has to make so changes, and I think the merger is one of those changes Ethereum needs now, I don't know how successful the merge would be to Ethereum in future but one of the most disturbing issues with Ethereum and the usage of its blockchain is its fee and if this merge has any implementations to tackling that issue already then it may be the rebirth of Ethereum.

Since the announcement of the upcoming update, the price of Ethereum had been very volatile and it also had a lot more activities than Bitcoin but it still couldn't resist the bear so it always drops down after a little pump. The effect might only be a little pump but we shouldn't expect much because the market recovery phase isn't occurring yet.

That's because the price of bitcoin is still volatile and can't break the price higher so the price of ethereum can't start rising yet. But I believe that once the bear market is over and the bull market is back, it will make all the coins go high again and provide an opportunity for ethereum to rise high.

But even if it's a small pump, I think it's still valuable for some of us because we can still benefit from it.

If an effect occurs, it may occur in the value of ethereum itself and altcoins that use the ethereum network, for the global market, bitcoin prices are still dominantly influenced.

The effect already gone. The price of ethereum has been increasing gradually to the 2k but it was going down again losing about 25% from its price to the around 1500. Altcoin that was also building in ethereum network didn't get any impact cuased by the update will have impact on ethereum itself. Just becuase ethereum was second largest crypto and it doesn't mean if it can give a very huge impact to influence everything int he crypto.
