Has potential but if it is for long term investments, I guess coins with bigger names would be a better choice simply because they're more 'secured' in a way that its market price would have a higher chance to increase in the future such as with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Just my two cents. 'coz if the token you are investing your money with has only potential and not having stable demand, I guess it would be a bigger gamble. If it is for short term, trying other coins would generate bigger profit.

Im not even feeling doubt if the bottom price like that must become the right time to invest in the crypto. As you can see that a golden opportunity in front of your eyes but you may wait until it will be going down a bit lower than the current rate since bitcoin may face another correction to come very soon. Buying at the bottom bacame your main consideration.

as we can't tell when will the bottom happens, one can slowly buy in every dip in the market. ADA is a promising platform as they have real product to offer. but when it comes to being heavily invested on this project, one should know the target plans of the dev team and if they are keeping up with it. what i am seeing here is that ADA is not the same with these pump and dump coins. they are actually building and growing their network, so you do have a chance to get your profits later on.

Cardano might be good but I think holding in a long term isn't a potential one.  I don't know what happens to them, it seems they dropped too much this year.  But it's up to you, you should the one who makes a decision and don't rely upon others and gather financial advice, do your own research is a must.

I understand why you are comparing ADA to EOS, to be honest ADA is quite slow in developing their blockchain, they are constantly lagging with updates which makes me sometimes bored to hold ADA.

But I don't think it will be the second EOS, EOS was bad from the beginning after the end of the ICO, it seems like it raised so much money that it blinded the developer. They have so much money that they don't need to put in the extra effort.

ADA we still have hope because the developer is still working hard and always has notice of his delay. I think ADA is still worth the investment.

there are still a lot of misconceptions like that, they think bitcoin has gone too high and can't bring them significant returns and they look to altcoins as an alternative to invest, but they don't know their altcoin investment will be profitable when bitcoin goes up

It doesn't seem like they've done well so far in the past year, If you trust it enough you can do long-term investment on it but honestly, I'd rather do short-term investments instead. I don't think altcoins are investments you'd take for long-term ones, the only coin I'd ever go for long-term would be Bitcoin. Maybe invest and wait for 3 months to see what happens and if you think it'll still go up then yea stay, but honestly if you get positive by then I'd just take it and plan for another short-term investment.
