The fan of his would also acknowledge that possible lucky punch despite all of those percentages of winning that has been shown.

Not a disrespect but this could be taken by him as a challenge and prove everyone that he's got what it takes to beat the champ. Well, that could just be his mindset upon looking at these odds and percentage that's shown to the public by many speculators.

Most likely that will be Paul Butler's motivation here, because he is a huge underdog so his mindset should shift gear and focus that he can do it, be positive against the Monster.

So in the first couple of rounds we will see if he can stay with Inoue and that motivation and his big heart of him will be enough to counter the power of Naoya and survived the distance. But I doubt it because Inoue is truly an amazing fighter and complete and still improving every fight.
Yeah, exactly.

Too many things to consider by Butler and look at it as a challenge and motivation that he should throw some great punches that will prove that the fans are wrong and he's that great.

But still, we'll see it then if he's going to be that one great puncher against Inoue which we know that he can really win on this match even it's not yet started.
Lots had been anticipating that this would really be an easy park walk by Inoue on this fight but we are really just underestimating too much on Butler.Preparations would be surely made and Butler is fully aware

as much as we do that he would really be fighting against a tough and powerful wall considering that we arent that blind on what history does Inoue has when it comes into its previous fights.
Some do even conclude that it would only last up only 2 rounds which is something that on the real side but we dont know on how this would be ending up.
It all matters on preparation and on how these fighters would be trying out to knockdown their opponent.

Inoue surely has the edge on this match, but we can't guarantee what will happen inside the ring.
This is boxing, anything can happen inside the ring and upset is always part of this sports.
Though I am leaning on Inoue's side, but still, we can't disregard Butler's preparation.
But more than likely, this fight will be interesting to watch. I hope Butler will give a toe-to-toe fight on Inoue.

even though it's box all news sites that I've read are giving a clear advantage to Naoya Inoue and honestly when that happens it's like they're predicting the future that Naoya Inoue will actually win this fight. Not to mention that I believe that when everyone favors a certain athlete, the opponent starts to feel irritated and starts to act angry and enters the fight with nerves and unfocused. even if they say: "ha, they are professional fighters, they don't have that.... " this is not true, because even in the presentation when the two fighters are together they soon lose their temper and want to go straight to the fight. Anyway I'll bet on Naoya Inoue

Although I agree with you that upset is part of a sport, I can't really apply that upset stuff on Butler even though we do hundreds of simulations.

This is not about looking down on Butler but we are just stating some real thing that is most likely to happen once he faced "The Monster".

Though I am leaning on Inoue's side, but still, we can't disregard Butler's preparation.
But more than likely, this fight will be interesting to watch. I hope Butler will give a toe-to-toe fight on Inoue.

Not saying we are disregarding Butler's preparation for this fight but it's obvious that whatever preparation he will do and even though there are still lots of time left before the fight to improve what he likes to enhance, still not enough to beat the likes of Naoya Inoue.

While Butler is doing some serious preparation, obviously, Naoya Inoue is doing the same thing too as this fight will put him as the undisputed Bantamweight Champion.

Anyway I'll bet on Naoya Inoue

The odds for Moneyline for Naoya Inoue will be obviously around close to flat 1 once crypto bookies listed this match. It's like you stake a certain amount on this fight then after the fight and Inoue wins, the same amount will be your return lol.

I even think that odds for what round Inoue might possibly Knock Out Butler will also have not that interesting odds starting from Round 1 to Round 5. No way I will consider betting late rounds for that choice.

On the Decision result in favor of Inoue, it might have a low chance of happening, and expect high odds here although that was considered a risky bet for me knowing Inoue's KO success rate. I don't know how Butler will even survive the full 12 rounds against Inoue in the first place.

Try to research how powerful Naoya Inoue is and I think after doing that, you can't even mention the word upset by Butler on this match.

Even not a professional boxing analyst understands how long the gap is between Naoya Inoue and Paul Butler.

Butler will just turn into a punching bag here.

I agree. I dont think Butler can handle Inoue because the latter is a monster. However if ever Butler manage to beat Inoue in this fight this will be an achievement for him, to be the first to beat the champ. There's a low chance, but in boxing, we can expect the unexpected. Butler needs a motivation and luck in order to win.

At least Butler will punch back, unlike a punching bag, hehehe. Paul might show his skills in this fight early, trying to evade those power punches from Inoue. But sooner or later he will be fold because he doesn't have answers to the Monster volume punching + power. This could be another great performance by Inoue and become the top 1 in the pound for pound list this year.

no one can tell mate , remember that this is boxing and any one can make someone down with a single punch , but yes it is Inoue's advantage in this fight and you can even assess in their recent fights .
Naoya Inoue is really a great boxer, besides having the absolute majority of fights ends with a knockout, which is quite rare for the lightest weight, Paul Butler of course has more experience in the ring, but he is 5 years older and it seems that he is not a favorite in this fight, unless the puncher's chance works.
this is how Inoue proves his capacity for how many fights and he will show this once again this one against Butler .

Experience can't help a fighter against Inoue, if that experience really is a big thing, then Donaire could have won against Inoue, but look what happened, Inoue just stop him in the early rounds to prove that he is the king of this division.

I gotta agree with that because Inoue is just a special fighter, he is unbeatable in this division, so it's about time for him to go up in weight after he will win this undisputed fight. I can't wait to see this fight honestly although I must say I'm not expecting a close fight as most likely it's just a one sided beatdown.

We are unanimous here with our prediction that Inoue will win, even if OP will create a poll, I'm expecting everyone will be voting on one side only. The fact that we have no debate here about who will win the fight, it's pretty obvious that we all believe that Inoue will win.

Butler will have the biggest fight of his life, it's Butler against the world, so it's a big challenge for him to prove that people are wrong.

Yeah, exactly.

Too many things to consider by Butler and look at it as a challenge and motivation that he should throw some great punches that will prove that the fans are wrong and he's that great.

But still, we'll see it then if he's going to be that one great puncher against Inoue which we know that he can really win on this match even it's not yet started.

as I said in the post above, I didn't see any site putting Butler as a favorite, on the contrary most sites I saw are all saying that Inoue will win this fight. I also believe that Inoue will win
And that's why the crowd is with him.

Even not fans of his are also talking about him winning against Butler and this is likely a judged match already. But not until it's finished, we have to wait for the actual match to come.

Needless to say, everyone is predicting that this is going to be a match that will be won by Inoue.

Of course, everyone knows how good Inoue is, and we don't know Butler much, he won because Casimero was stripped with his belt, he is not really a real champion like Inoue whom he destroyed all his opponents.

being the underdog in this match should give butler a very good motivation to prove the boxing community that he has something to offer also inside the ring. so either he will be very prepared on this fight or just let this fight be over and collect his paycheck. but his performance inside the ring will determine if he will get another good fight in the future, even if he will lose on inoue. now, let's wait the odds of other betting lines on this match because right now, it is not worth betting at 1.02x on inoue, right?
Even if no one is really expecting that Butler wins this fight it is very important for him to give his best performance possible, losing against Inoue is not shameful at all and in fact it is the expected outcome, but if he can lose against Inoue by giving his all and giving a good fight that is going to be enough to give him access to more and better fights, and this could also generate enough interest from the fans to want to see a second fight, but if he is completely dominated by Inoue then even if a second fight happens no one is going to be interested in watching it.
I think Butler should not go toe to toe with Inoue as he knows how powerful Inoue's punches are, if he makes one mistake, that could end the fight and he will lose via KO. The same strategy he used in his last fight, I think that's the right straight, run and score, and let the fight reach the judges' scorecards.

But he can't run the full 12 rounds, there might be some time in the fight that he needs to go toe to toe and see who has the powerful punch or who has the better chin. Inoue as well has improved his cutting the opponents ring in his last several that why he was able to corner him and them that knock out punch. So it might not be easy for Butler to do a run and gun style and for sure he will be tired as well and the fans might not like it and we can hear boos from the crowd.

That is the safest way for Butler so that he will at least finish a full 12-round fight and won't be knocked down somewhere in the middle of the fight. Doing prolonged toe-to-toe fights to test who's got stronger punches or has the stronger chin is not a good idea either for Butler as that could be the easiest way for him to get defeated, he surely knows that he's not in the same league as Inoue's.

And that's why the crowd is with him.

Even not fans of his are also talking about him winning against Butler and this is likely a judged match already. But not until it's finished, we have to wait for the actual match to come.
Of course, everyone knows how good Inoue is, and we don't know Butler much, he won because Casimero was stripped with his belt, he is not really a real champion like Inoue whom he destroyed all his opponents.
And everyone just want to see him being destroyed by Inoue. No matter what the records of Butler, despite it's also good to look at it, everyone's thought won't change on how it's likely that he'll be owned by Inoue.

Needless to say, everyone is predicting that this is going to be a match that will be won by Inoue.

100%, or if not maybe 95%.... Inoue is gonna win here, but if you will put a bet on him, don't expect an 50-50 bet, most likely your bet will only win less than 5%.
Let's say that there's the little percentage that Butler could win. The talks are that it will be like a lucky punch that will make him win this match.

If Butler can withstand the powerful punches of Inoue (which is I highly doubt) the fight will get very interesting and not the one sided fight that we are thinking.  That is what I wanted to see in this fight but looking at the previous fight of Butler, a not so sturdy chin,  a not so powerful punches, no matter how hard I comprehend on how Butler will win the fight, it all goes back to 1-3% chance.

Most of the upsets in boxing are made through lucky punches Grin Inoue is heavily favored to win, but that doesn't mean that Butler doesn't have a chance. There is always a chance and opportunity for underdogs like Butler to win. They just have to make things work and grab that little sliver of opportunity when it presents to them. Who knows, maybe Butler can knock out Inoue in one of those rounds and we will all be shocked in disbelief  Cheesy

That is why the percentage of Inoue winning isn't 100%.  There is always this extra factor, the one that is unpredictable that can turn the match into an upset win.  But in the case of Inoue, I think Inoue can handle the strongest punch of Butler, so Butler winning via TKO/KO is really slim.  The only way for Butler to win the fight is to outpunch Inoue and drag the fight to judge's decision.  Which is kinda hard for Butler because as far as I know (if I am not mistaken), there are only 2 of Inoue's fights that go to the judge's decision.

Im not really that expecting for a toe-to-toe fight but who knows right? It is true that it would really be depending on the preparation that had been made and its true that upsets do really happen not only on boxing

but in all sports.Lots had been anticipating for Inoue to win on this one but nothing is assured as long the opponent is standing up then there's always a time for some nasty comeback or turn of events.

It cant really just be avoided that people do judge out directly basing up on papers but i cant blame them considering that Inoue is truly a monster.

That's why no poll was added because the expectation is a landslide victory for Inoue. Smiley

There's no debate about that but some people here are talking about the possibility of upsets on which even how hard I try to imagine that it will happen, I really can't think about it. Just in case Butler will win this, even by 1%, it's not just usual recognition but a very very very BIG recognition he will receive from the whole world if that happened.
