10 BTC is a huge chunk to lose within 3 months, but that's the risk attached to trading.

Great that you're out of the waters now and trading again; the mental struggle attached to losses uncured during trafestor gambling is real and affects people to different degrees.

One thing i want you to understand op, is that no one who is curious into cryptocurrency that did not advocate or devote time to know the typical bases or the elementary aspect of cryptocurrency. Because i understand that trading is all about strategies and before you comprehend the methods you most undergoes the understanding. And secondly knowing the basic things of cryptocurrency you most study the system very well by carrying a personal research.

Forex is enticing but like the crypto leverage, its a double edge sword.

Holding BTC alone is already going to make you profit, you don't need a leverage for it since it could grow way more than you expect during bullrun. You know this bcaz you earned your fortune last 2020 bull run. Just like the Portfolio management services you provide in your website, its for long term investors.

How you do able to lost that 10 BTC? since you havent mentioned it and just speak out about earnings from crypto and forex trading.
Yes, it could really be profitable but you should really be wise if you do tend to touch up other aspects of investment.If you've been dragged on with that NFT hype
or other related things which are currently on trend then it would be always suggested that research is always the key
but well risk is always there and since everything is unpredictable then there's always an odds for us to lose money.

How did you trade such that you ended up losing 10 Bitcoin? Were you buying high and selling cheap, or did you invest them in other cryptocurrencies? Considering that you registered your account in the forum in 2017, you should be able to comprehend how the bitcoin market functions and the challenges of being a trader. You even stated to have experience trading in other markets, such as forex, so you should have credible information to prevent all of these issues.

I saw a website on your profile that sells tools for miners, traders, and other areas of the blockchain, why didn't you use the same tools to prevent losing 10 Bitcoin? It should have worked for you if you precisely mentioned it on that pages.

That's huge and how this could happen with a person who is into trading practice for a long time. Anyhow this couldn't have happened.

Trading always have its own risk, and a small variation in the prediction ends up losing. I've lost big out of gambling, but here it is different and I think he might've gone for some unknown coin believing to make big money. According to me this couldn't have happened, if he had invested on the top cryptocurrencies.

You've lost a huge amount of Bitcoin in your past experience, that is a huge amount for me.  Sorry for your loss but just think charge to the experience.
I advise you don't seek other people's financial advice, you should have your own research to find success in trading.

I don't know if this comes to your mind, how about holding Bitcoin alone in a long term would might be a perfect way of making a profit since it's very volatile.

OP, you did not explain in details how you lost your 10 BTC but sorry about that, it's a hard experience. What I have to tell you is to be more careful and mindful when ever it comes to trading with your assest. I lost $1000 $Matic on Binance exchange around February 2021, I sent the Matic to binacian exchange, waited for hours and It did not arrive, I had to read some terms/conditions I came across and I saw something that almost made me cry, what I saw was "Only trade your Matic on quick swap". I had no option than to accept the loss. After everything, I learned how to read terms and conditions/policies of any platform am using.

Little guide that may help
 1. Always read terms & policy.
 2. Learn about the risk associated any platform your using.
 3. Limit your asset if risk is too high.
 4. Only trade/operate on trusted platforms.
 5. Increased you security by adding 2FA.
 6. Do not throw all your asset into one place that you are not 99.9% sure.
 7. Seek opinion of other investors and pick out the good ones.

Then success will come back to you. and all that you have lost you can get back. Trading is always full of high risk. so do not be surprised if someone can lose a lot. and also no wonder one can get a lot of profit. Sorry to hear that mate, yeah as we have said, crypto trading is like a journey, there will be ups and downs along the way but you have to keep running. Hopefully you are doing ok now, and have a lot of lessons to share to us specially on how to take care of our Bitcoin because that is a huge amount to lost in trading. Right after the bull run it was obvious that the price plummet and maybe you are doing leverage trading? Anyhow, hope that we can hear your experience so that those new in the game will not have to go to that just to understand how the market works and how you are going to make a lot of profit and maybe learn how to sustain it as well.

Not sure what’s the meaning of this but all I can sense is he lost it all to the depression. May be something like making decisions in anger or greed kinda feeling. I am not sure how one can trade ten bitcoins in single go but that seems to be really vague to my imagination. If you had that much money then you would have been way careful than this. Anyways, if you have lost it and then again you doing the same then let’s just hope you do it way carefully.

The sooner you start to think of yourself as a problem gambler and think you have a very serious problem to solve, the better.

The probability of you losing your money with intraday and forex trading approaches 100% as time goes on. There are only a few, very few who are able to break that statistic.

lol, you must think only shitcoins or nft people can lose money, dude read what he said, he lost by trading btc (10 btc to be precise) I believe it was clearly written in the heading of the post. People can lose money through btc too, most traders trading btc with less knowledge are bound to lose if they are not careful, alts are not the only way to lose money.

I'm curious how did you lost 10 btc. That is an enormous amount and I can't imaging to lose it all. Could you share it with us so people here will know what specific advice they can give you.

I've started in this crypto space in 2016, I've also experienced many loss on my journey but that didn't stop me to quit. Even if most of my relatives are against with me being a crypto enthusiast, it won't stop me in believing to the potential of bitcoin and blockchain technology in the future so I will continue to accumulate whatever they say.

I am sorry for your loss. I don't know how much is 10 BTC in percentage of your total savings/funds, so it's hard to assess whether it was indeed a huge loss or not personally for you, but it's a lot of money to lose in trading. It's great that you overcame the depression and are recovering from it. However, you should also learn a lesson from this loss to ensure that now that you're back to trading, you don't lose that much money again. You should limit the percentage of your funds with which you do trading, so that you can't experience a devastating loss.
