So sorry mate I know the kind of depression that follows it, that's literally part of the journey in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space when you don't HODL, each day we either learn from our mistakes or learn from other people's mistake. sometimes we fall on the process of learning or doing new things, falling on the process of doing something is normal, but when you fall and not getting up to identify why you have fallen and take a different approach to that is when you have failed, Mate! Rise up and use your past mistakes as a lesson to rise up and never fall again for same story.

Sorry for what happened there mate but I believe the problem with losing in trading without having the proper experience is you trying to make back your investment quickly without taking a step back to see what you have done or doing wrongly. This happened to me back in 2015 when I was trading forex and even then I was just introduced to FX trading and had little experience when I lost that first $1000 I just wanted to make my money back and went in with another $1000 trade and lost again under few minutes so when I was introduced to crypto, I took my time but did lose some but not as what happened in FX trading.
Now I am more of a HODLer in crypto than a trader but will still trade if I feel I see an entry.

I entered the Bitcoin forum in 2017, and I know Bitcoin in 2014. At that time I only got Bitcoin through the faucet. Because the amount of Bitcoin I got was small, and the price was still cheap, I ignored the Bitcoin wallet data. Then in 2017 I started looking for Bitcoin through this forum, even though what I got was not Bitcoin, but tokens that I exchanged on the exchange and bought Bitcoin from the proceeds. In the 2018 Bull run I sold Bitcoin at a low price, without waiting for a high price, due to my lack of experience in the crypto market regarding price changes or bull runs. Because it's still the first time to enter the crypto exchange. Then the 2020/2021 bull run realized that crypto price changes would happen every few years. So the current bad state of the crypto market makes me happy, because I have the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a low price, and I will hold it. Because I believe that in 2024 or 2025 the price of Bitcoin will again set a new record above the current ATH.

So mistakes, failures, losses in the past we make an experience for the future. We need not be discouraged. Bitcoin is an important asset, of course the longer we keep it, the more valuable it is.
In 2017 about 17 million Bitcoins in circulation, in 2022 about 19 million Bitcoins in circulation, in 2025 I estimate Bitcoin in circulation will reach its maximum. Of course the price of Bitcoin will be higher, because it cannot be mined. So that investors have to buy Bitcoins that are on the exchange, the Bitcoin price will automatically increase.

Yvan Byeajee once said "Trading don't just reveal your character, but It also builds it when you stay in the game long enough", So for you to be back once again after losing 10 Bitcoin to trading, it actually shows that you are a strong individual, because not all will be able to get back to trading after such huge lost, as some people may even commit suicide, but you overcame the frustration, as that's approximately $200,000 right now, big enough to change one's life.
But you never told us how you came about losing such huge sum, but I'm sure it must be connected to swapping BTC to Shitcoins who only got hype and dump, because had you used the dollar cos t averaging system, you never should have lost such funds. But however, goodluck in your future trades

How experienced are you into crypto trading anyway? Because of your losses, I assume that you didn’t have much knowledge in risk management.

Coz’ no matter how skillful and experienced you are as long you do not know how to minimize and managing your risks, for sure you will be losing a lot just like what you have shared here with us.

It could've been an interesting content to discuss if you have included a detailed scene how you have lost 10Btc. Because that is not just small amount, but a huge one. Everybody must be interested how you have lost it and how have you managed to recover mentally, emotionally, and financially?

You're just basically telling everyone like hey, I'm here again after I lost 10 Btc and look I'm perfectly fine and will be going to potentially lose my money again in trading.

Am so sorry for your lost, i think your post those not give detailed explanation on how you lost your money, am sure if you are in sport trade you won't lose your bitcoin, the only thing that can happen is that the price which you use in buying it will reduce and if you can HODL it then the price will bounce back with time but am suprise how you lost 10 bitcon because I think that's a huge amount, or did you participate in future trade? I think it's very easy to lose money in future trading because you can easily get liquidated and if you are liquidated, all your funds are gone that's why you should be very careful when you are trading futures. Once again sorry for your lost.

Hard to feel anything for a random amount. Someone who made 11 BTC and lost 10 (I know OP said he made and then lost his fortune but it's really subjective when I hear stories like this).

Dubai guy in 2017, remember him? Taking out a loan and then losing his job and pre-BTC wealth, now that's tragic.

Think I read most big tech people lost a huge chunk of their networth in the same period, but yeah, can't really sympathise when they made much of that "lost" wealth in the period before.

10 BTC is definitely a huge amount to lose but it seems that you did something terribly wrong to lose that kind of money.
You should share your whole story about how you lost such a huge amount. May be that will help others in avoiding the mistake.
It's good that you have come back and are willing to start over again. It takes good amount of will power for that action.
But before starting make sure you know the pros and cons of each and everything you do.
Knowledge is power and by doing a good amount of research on anything you can get good knowledge on it.
So make sure you know what you get into and invest wisely.

Losses are normal in Bitcoin and so are wins but it’s important to understand how you came about a particular loss, so you don’t repeat the same actions. Take a step back to re-evaluate and strategize and come back again. If you have to unlearn to relearn please do so. However, it’s important that you take it easy on yourself. You might just bounce back from it soon.

You must have been through a lot of bearish market after that year especially that I can still remember when Bitcoin plummeted that year around 4k-5k and it was like a memorable experience for me in the bearish market. Curious to what you mean by forex "rollercoaster". Did you mean by these so called "volatile market"?

Honestly 10btc is a huge amount of btc to loss , I'm still imagining how come you lose such amount. If it was a shitcoin I can easily believe it is possible to lose that amount.  For you to lose this amount of bitcoin I believe it was cause due to lack of knowledge and experience. The mistake you had in your past from trading experience will really be a road map to your new trading journey.  You just have to seek for knowledge, it makes trading to be very easy.

Here are some tips for those who want to avoid big loss in crypto
1) Invest what you can afford to loose. Then only you can trade with clam mind and make right decisions.
2) Diversify the investment in multiple coins.
3) Focus more on coins like BTC. These are the major coins which decide complete market movement.
4) Do not sell in panic.
5) Follow crypto related news regularly.

If OP earned 10BTC and then lost it all when bitcoin as an asset only lost 70% high to low, I suspect it had to do with too much leverage.
Holding is the key to being successful here, not trading. Sure you can earn a lot by trading, but why would you risk your future to get a bit more than the rest of us holders?

I chose to hold, then sold very little starting at 30k and then at each big round number so 40, 50, 60 and when we went back to 30 I started buying and saving up. At this point I have more fiat money than i had in 2019 and the same amount of bitcoin. I could've had more if I traded, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Best tip that I can share with you is go all-in only on reliable cryptocurrencies like BTC, LTC etc and retrieve profits in the long-term instead of quick short-term gains.

Only invest when you feel completely confident that these cryptocurrencies are at a low point.
