Hi all,

I am interested in knowing everyone's plans & expectations for the remainder of this year and 2023?

Are we expecting these low prices for the next 6, 12 or even 18 months?

I first started crypto in February this year so I have yet to experience any profit, I have just bought and plan on holding until the next bull run.

I have been accumulating over the last 6 months and if I have to just hold till 2024 so be it - it will be here before we know it.

What is your plan & expectations?

What is your plan & expectations?

Since you seem to care and asking solely about price, this would fit better into Speculation really...
I mean, I see nothing overly serious to be said here.

I expect some <5% say that they hope for low price they can buy more, some >90% who hope the price goes to the moon and beyond (although honestly 20k is already moon imho) and never goes downside again so they can become rich and never have to work. And some remaining few % will be trolls with answers that don't worth reading.

My hopes and expectations are that current bear market ends before 2023 starts. As simple as that.

Crypto investors expect bitcoin to rally to around $38,000 by early 2023, according to a survey of roughly 4,400 Americans by intelligence firm Morning Consult.

Since you seem to care and asking solely about price,

Whether we like it or not, it is what most people are attracted to. The white paper, the limit to production, being able to make payments without a centralized entity being able to give you approval or block it, is something that interests a minority of us.

What they expect and what is going to happen do not usually coincide very much, and, if they do, it is usually more by chance than by the respondents' predictive ability.

Oh, but I don't deny that! My point on this matter was that price topics belong to Speculation.

Yet OP question was what you expect and you didn't answer to that Cheesy

I expect that the price of BTC will rise, as well as that other altcoins will follow the rise in price. I also think that there will be more and more fake tokens and fake swap exchanges, there will be few real ones.

Well Bitcoin doesn't operate independently of the world. The US markets pretty much drive it. Allot of bad news is still coming down the pipe, more basis points, more bank failure, housing markets collapse coming. Probably some exchange failures... Until the bad news stops at best trade semi sideways through 2023.

Well this year is almost ended and the price of bitcoin has created shock wave around the world and if anyone is expecting anything like sudden miracle to happen that will present them to be multi millionaires, well they are not wrong if that is their thinking because bitcoin is a currency that goes up and down anytime and its not stable..

Myself am expecting the price of bitcoin in this coming year to be high and have seize this opportunity to buy some bitcoin to keep in a long term investment for higher profits

You may have to wait until late 2025 to see the real peak of the next bull run. Historically that’s the way it’s always worked, in four year phases. You are doing well to keep accumulating though, it’s a great habit to get into & over the long term is a true recipe for success.

Look at cryptocurrency as a long term plan, a pension type situation, something to get you out of the mundane 9-5 stuff.

Patience, patience, patience, you will do well. Try not to keep checking your portfolio prices every day, it’s unhealthy. Stick to your plan & you’ll make bank before 2026.

Many people are expecting a new ATH of bitcoin/altcoins in the year 2023.
The main point is to be positive and avoid demotivating discussions.
Most annoying people are on Twitter, who will talk about they lost money this winter, just avoid them.

If history is any indicator, then the beginning of 2023 will not be anything special, while the end of 2023 and leading into the entirety of 2024 should be a growing marvel for Bitcoin and the market as a whole.

Since the beginning of 2023, however, the Crypto market has started to recover somewhat.  So we can expect the Crypto market to be very good in 2023. Last year we only saw the Crypto market going down. The market is constantly just dumping. I have seen many people who have expressed a lot of despair about the Crypto market and have given up hope that the market will never return to normal. But by the beginning of 2023, the market has started to normalize.  Currently, the value of other digital currencies including Bitcoin has increased a lot. So I hope the year 2023 brings blessings for the market. And many will benefit by investing this year.

So I hope the year 2023 brings blessings for the market. And many will benefit by investing this year.

It begann with a minor quake "The S&P 500 ended 2022 with a loss of 19.4%, its worst annual performance since 2008" according to marketwatch.
That helped Bitcoin and most other Altcoins.
