I am thankful that I never came across such exchanger before and forum is the reason for this. Thanks to fellow members who always keep alarming us about such scams out there and share the experience so that we don’t fall for the trap.
I am completely sorry for your trapped Money but you should seek local authority help regarding the fraud. If there are plenty of evidences are available and money which you want to get back is pretty enough then why not take the chance for the same.
Cryptocurrencies are still not legal in many countries and losing or being scammed while investing in crypto will not receive legal protection.
In my country, cryptocurrencies are not banned outright but the government always informs everyone that, if you trade crypto, all your risk will not be supported by the government, you are solely responsible responsibility for your actions.
OP didn't mention how much he lost but the possibility of OP getting it back is very unlikely, it's a lesson for him and for all of us to stay away from weird exchanges like this.
And even in countries in which a cryptocurrencies are recognized as assets that have value there is no guarantee that local authorities will be able to do anything to help you out, and this is because most of the time an investigation of this type will require for the police to try to make an international investigation across many different countries.
And that is not really the type of crimes for which your average local police is trained to deal with, and if the amount of money is small then the possibility that the police take the case seriously is almost zero as they are not going to spend so many resources for so little money.
