Looking for some help with Rollbit account banned.

So I use rollbit to bet on sports and I have been making some money doing it.
My mom knows that I have made some money, watched me bet on games and stuff and wanted to start betting and help her make an account and all that, show her what im betting on and stuff.

Before we set up an account for her, my rollbit account was "limited" not banned, so my max bet was reduced making it basically useless to bet. It was limited a few hours after I placed 2 bets on the same game, 1 bet lost and 1 bet won, but the bet that won was cancelled a few hours after it was paid out as a winner. They took the profit back on the winning bet, and and kept the loss of the other bet that lost. I contacted them about the bet and they basically said the "odds were incorrect" and would not elaborate more, but that's a whole other story.

Anyways so I helped my mom set up an account as she is not very tech savy lol, but she has seeing me use rollbit a lot to place my bets and is most familiar with that site and wanted to use them.
she gave me some money, around $1200 CAD to deposit for her as she does not own any crypto, and i sent it to rollbit from my wallet (problem #1 maybe? but i havent seeing anything about this being against TOS)

We were getting ready to place a live bet but the situation changed in the game making it a non bet for me. She then asked me if she could withdraw the money at anytime, how long would it take, if she could take it all out at one time, if the money was safe on the site, all that stuff and being very skeptical as she always is with crypto and having money online sites and all that. I reassured her and then showed her that she could withdraw it all at any time, but since was new account it said must wager $10. So we wagered $10 on a game and when the bet was settled we cashed out, told  her it would take max 30 mins to come to my account, as rollbit for me has been really quick with cashouts.
Hours went by and nothing, so we contacted support and were told it needed to be manually done (new to me) by a colleague but they are unavailable right now. (mom is panicking at this point)

next morning they ask for KYC, so my mom completes the KYC and tells them its complete. Time goes by and now they ask for a selfie of her holding her ID, she completed that. Next day rollbit says your account is banned for KYC circumvention and they dont complete the withdraw. Shes upset, and rollbit will not explain what is wrong with her ID and completely ignores her.

I gave my mom the $1200 back she gave to me to deposit.

We dont know how else to get this money back from rollbit, or if we ( or I ) were in the wrong and broke TOC for sending from my wallet?

would love some help if possible

From the story, you are a old customer of Rollbit. But you only remember Bitcointalk has you got issue. Who told you about bitcointalk? I am sensing conspiracy theory here. That not withstanding, your evidences are not enough to judge the case by the experience users. And one thing I also discovered, you open account for your mom and deposit fund from your account to place bet for your even that process is suspicious.
Because if a new account is open in any gambling site, they would ask you to deposit money to get their bonuses.

I have gone through your story and really sorry for you. But you have made several mistake for example:
1. You have created both account from same computer/laptop
2. You have used same wallet for both account
As both are related, you have violated their terms. Now I don't think there should have any solution from the community.

Now a days it is common that while you win, the gambling site will limit your bet amount.

No one can help you get your money here except the Rollbit team. Ask them to interpret for you what KYC circumvention is and what exactly made your mom's account banned. I also advise you to extensively read their terms of service.

Based on your story, I am suspecting the account was locked for multi accounting, which is not allowed by many casinos. This they should be able to explain to you.

Have you read their terms of service before playing because it seems you're not, you allow your mother to use your own computer same IP Rollbit is not aware of your story all they know is you have a double account and there's an intention of cheating and breaking the TOS if you did a KYC in the past them your mother did it again so they are right on accusing circumventing your account, if you have not yet presented this story to Rollbit support try it now and let's see of the outcome, but your chances is slim.

this is what I think too since OP mentioned that he is the one who created his mother's account on rollbit. it would be nice if OP could share the conversation or e-mails/responses he got with rollbit support.

anyway, regarding the cancelled bet, it still kind of bothers me that gambling site took back the winnings of the bet when they are the ones who messed up in the first place and didn't even bother giving compensation.

Use proper format to make scam accusations so people can help you.

Have you read their terms of services? Do they say anything about only one account per household or per device or something?  If that is the case, then yes, they can restrict/ban your account. But I don't think they should be confiscating your funds. That is a little too much. Imagine someone visits your house, bets on Rollbit and wanted to check his account. Logs in and you both lose all your funds. But what did they mean by KYC circumvention? Did you or your mom try to use fake IDs or something? As long as both accounts are registered with different ID's i don't think it should be a problem.

How don't you not know that creating more than one account from same IP, same house is not allowed. Even having payment linked to more than one account can restrict your account. Knowingly or unknowingly you violated a term which is very common for every casino.

But your story is not convincing me. It's an usual story of mum, dad, brother, sister, cousins and the entire family tree when someone get caught for multi accounting.

Yah I realized the hard way that accounts in same house hold is not allowed. My personal account is not banned tho as i just withdraw last night.

After a quick look through their TOS, I couldn't find any mention of multiple accounts from the same household, address, or IP address. I only searched using some popular keywords and didn't actually read the whole thing. It might still be mentioned there but using different terminology. Anyways, crypto casinos usually don't allow multiple accounts from the same IP. So if you have two brothers and you all live in the same house, you can't have 3 separate accounts even though we are talking about 3 different individuals.

Their TOS mentions they have the right to terminate your account for any reasons no matter if those reasons were mentioned in the TOS or not. A very unclear policy if you ask me. I think someone from their team saw your thread and that resulted in the issuing being solved to avoid loss of reputation.

I don't have an account on Rollbit but if there's no mention of multiple accounts then he has a case against Rollbit to cut it short by just allowing him to withdraw, that's a good gesture from Rollbit, it's not really a huge amount and it's for her mother not to lose trust on Cryptocurrency casinos, they did not post here they just send the money huge respect to Rollbit for doing that, but players should see to it that all their activities are according to what stated in the TOS and make sure that there's no unusual activity in your account.

I don't know if he would have a case against the casino. I'm not a lawyer and I am not sure how the following sentences could be interpreted from a legal point of view. But to my understanding, it means they can terminate accounts for reasons stated in their TOS as well as those that aren't.

I think the right thing to do after termination of a customer's account would be to let them withdraw what belongs to them, so long as they never gamed the system and made unfair gains on top of a message informing them never to use their platform again.

Good to know the issue resolved. Lesson should be learnt. It's common rules that a casino business does not allow multi account even though it does not seem the term is specifically mentioned in Rollbit terms page reading from the post made by others.

I think the right thing to do after termination of a customer's account would be to let them withdraw what belongs to them, so long as they never gamed the system and made unfair gains on top of a message informing them never to use their platform again.
Opportunist will always try to take opportunity. I wish they would stop after learning the lesson.

Because if a new account is open in any gambling site, they would ask you to deposit money to get their bonuses.

Most of the scam accusations against casinos are due to the opening of multiple accounts. mom, brother, uncle... are just excuses.

Now a days it is common that while you win, the gambling site will limit your bet amount.
Isn't it obvious why they do that? It's simply because gambling sites don't expect anyone to win and leave with their winnings without any stress. The greed with gambling is legendary and second to none.

However, it's good to know that OP's issue with Rollbit has finally been resolved amicably. Now that we've gone past all that, I think it will be a sensible thing to do to lock this thread.

Yah I realized the hard way that accounts in same house hold is not allowed. My personal account is not banned tho as i just withdraw last night.
So now im wondering if its something else, in which I have no clue what it could be.

That means you have a duplicate account on the site. But almost no casinos or gambling site allows multiple accounts. As you have created multiple accounts and that is a policy violation of the site. You should just ask them politely refund the amount which you have deposited on the site and I think you would be able to get that.
