Elon Musks Plan to make the world multiplanetary is just waste of time and money
Elon Musk claims that reducing the birth rate is not a solution and it will not work, so making the world multiplanetary is necessary but he is forgetting or ignoring by his stupidity that not millions but billions are required to go outside of the world. So only billionaire will be able to travel outside of the world, at the current situation, there are only a few billionaires out of 8 billion people, even there are not much millionaire and millionaire can never afford to visit outside of the world as a tour will cost around million of dollars. So if we assume that Musk has had succeeded to make the mars a place where life can exists, then how many billionaire will travel? will we be able to send half of the world there? or 190 million people out of the 320 million from the United States? Evacuation of millions out of 8 billion will not affect the earth even, and nor every Chinese a billionaire to afford the evacuation. So we can say this that this is just a bogus plan, It will result at the end to destroy Tesla and SpaceX (resulting 100% loss of Tesla and SpaceX shares) Because is it possible that we can make everyone in the world a billionaire through blockchain? And if the current inflation growth rate is to be relied upon, it is still not possible in the next ten years. If we increase this inflation rate by a thousand times or make people's salaries in millions then it is possible. And it is also possible that we will be killed by global warming in the next forty years if we do not do this.

But one of the things Musk is working on is AI. With AI he can make robots to do all his work. They work cheap. So he won't need a lot of money to make interplanetary visits available to us all.
HOWEVER, I think that the whole thing might be fake. Why? Because the Artemis Program being done by NASA as we speak, suggests and indicates that the guys couldn't have gone to the moon back in 1969. Why couldn't they? Because the question of the radiation of the Van Allen Belts still exists. We still don't know how to get an astronaut through the radiation belts safely. That's one of the reasons the Orion space capsule of the Artemis Program is going out empty... to test radiation protection.
If NASA can't get through the Van Allen Belts, neither can Musk. Musk's whole Mars idea might simply be talk 100%. Notice that everything he has done so far is for low earth orbits... the ISS and the cube sats. But he hasn't pushed anything beyond the Van Allen Belts... at least that anybody knows about.
China Threatens To Destroy Elon Musk's StarlinkIn December 2021, China filed a complaint with the United Nations, claiming that two of Musk's Starlink satellites had nearly collided with the Tianhe module of its Tiangong Space Station -- in April and October of 2021-- and that Chinese astronauts had been forced to maneuver the module of the station to avoid the collision. Starlink is part of Elon Musk's SpaceX and the satellites are part of a plan to make internet coverage from the satellites available worldwide, with the goal of launching nearly 12,000 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.
Space is becoming crowded and risks of collision -- whether with satellites or space debris -- are not new. Tellingly, China was among the first to help create much of that debris: In January 2007, China tested its first successful anti-satellite missile (ASAT), destroying one of its own inactive weather satellites and creating one of the world's largest space debris incidents. That space debris is still floating around in space, causing collision risks every day.
The United States rejected China's claims that the Starlink satellites had endangered China's space station. The US stated that if there had been a "significant probability of collision" with China's space station, the U.S. would have given notice to China ahead of time. "Because the activities did not meet the threshold of established emergency collision criteria, emergency notifications were not warranted in either case."
China is now taking things a step further: Chinese military researchers are threatening that Musk's Starlink satellites must be destroyed. The problem, however, does not appear so much to be the fear of collision, but rather that China believes that Starlink could be used for military purposes and thereby threaten what China calls its national security.

Personally I really used to admire Elon Musk. But that isn't the case anymore. I watched some videos over him that changed my mind, particularly thunderf00t video on hyperloop. I believe he is a smart man but overrated, I think many of his ideas are complete bs, he lies a lot and steps over other people a lot.
I am not an expert in physics or rocket science but I would believe in his critics explanation for now since they seem fairly reasonable. And also when somebody is being this ambitious it's reasonable to be skeptical.

But we should be practical at the same time. It is said that Thomas Edison tried 1,000 ways to make the electric light bulb work. Finally he got it, at the cost of losing a lot of joy in his life. I personally think that Musk is waking up to how impractical a Mars base is... especially since we may not have even gone through the Van Allen Belts, yet. Most of what Musk does has a practical application as well as his dream ideas. Achievements are done by struggle, it doesn't mean that we should lose hope as disappointment and greed are major obstacles to success where both cases loss Do more struggle, get more achievements and it won't be difficult - Don't forget your community But one of the things Musk is working on is AI. How can you know how much a tour will cost? water turns to hydrogen and oxygen out of solar panels which becomes fuel then clouds, not even polution. Waste of money? That garbage is printed boy.
Impractical mars base, great let's just all wait togheter for a huge meteorite to come and make the planet atmosphere of dust and oxygen less for 100 years.
Not sure there is even a point arguing with this kind of mentality.
I laugh at countries claiming shit, it should be one world, a global one, not nationalist separatist garbage.

I think that it should be the opposite of one-world. I think each person should be his own king. We shouldn't have money, so that nobody can accumulate more control over others, like Musk has done. If this was done willingly among all people, we would have wonderful peace.

A lot of things waste a lot of money in this world. Think of all the poor people in this world who are taken advantage of by having them value designer clothes or take loans to buy fancy cars. Elon's plan will not only make him and his investors a ton of money, but it will also increase the chances of humanity surviving long term exponentially. Even if it is a failure, it's his own money and that of those who believe in him that he's wasting.
If you want to talk about stupid wastes of time and money... Think of all the people who wait outside shoe outlets for hours to pay insane prices for shoes... How many man hours and dollars are wasted there? Elon > Nike

you know it all started with a dream.. especially if we refer to the kardashev scale, sooner or later human civilization will go that way,, we can't just focus on the earth alone,, human civilization must be able to explore and inhabit several planets to maintain its existence. you can say that elon musk's thinking is stupid and a waste of money, but that's also what people said when the internet first appeared, they said it was stupid and a waste of money, but look now everyone is using the internet

The Man has some extraordinary dreams and not only in his imagination but he is making them come true little by little with the help of his team. this guy has some real workers who are capable of making it real and he knows exactly how to take care of them. That's why we see Tesla became popular until today and they're not stopping till Elon Musk is no longer around. The mission will continue and we as some ordinary people are really grateful to witness their progress as well.

A lot of his dreams are over hyped and he lies a lot! hyperloop was bs, he is absolutely no where near making a colony on Mars and he lies about that a lot too. Tesla has a good car, but again he lies there too a lot. He gets way too much credit.

It is very clear to us that a travel to the Mars will cost a lots of money and I don't even think that is possible for now. Even though there are theories that plants or human can live on that planet but I still don't concur to that because it's going to take a lots of money for a single human to go to Mars and survive coming to Earth alive.
Science is only trying to bring us with a proof but it is still going to be difficult. He's plan is that when the third world war destroy the Earth, human can find a place on Mars to live which is still skeptical to me right now. Nothing will happen to planet Earth and I don't see reasons of taking risk out of our beautiful planet to another planet entirely.

In Joel, in the Bible Old Testament, it says that before Jesus returns, the moon will be turned to blood. Do you think this means that we will have astronauts from 3 or 4 countries up there fighting it out?

What makes you conclude that Elon's work on multiplanetary is a waste of time and money ? Let's assume that the ultimate goal can not be achieved at Elon's lifetime, does that mean that all his work and efforts are in vain ? Of course not. All products that SpaceX, Tesla, Starlink have are the ladders to eventually reach the universe. Don't underestimate the things that Elon and his team have devoted to and all great inventions are surely to be invented sooner or later by them or someone else. To believe in things dead is the end of achievement.

First of all, Mars need atleast few thousand years more to habitat the humans because its very cold and water is not in a consumable state and there is no atmosphere there. Elon may take the people to Mars but we don't really know is it possible to colonize there.
He isn't saying he can take the people and bring a civilization in Mars but as of everything is focused on just profits even Elon so don't think too futuristic because something he claims is not going to happen in our lifetime.

I do not expect that a single person, no matter how smart and money he has, is able to implement such a plan on his own. This plan needs joint international efforts and a lot of money, work and preparation before it so that it can be implemented. At the present time, it is very difficult to think of living in one of these planets, because there is Many difficulties prevent this, creating an environment suitable for human life on Mars is a big dream that is difficult to achieve at the present time, but of course this does not prevent a person from dreaming because most of the achievements that were impossible started with a big dream and then turned into reality in the end. I am not against Elon Musk's dreams, but they currently seem impossible and unreasonable, but perhaps in the future one day they will become reality.

In light of current circumstances and resources, it seems a bit impossible, but in the future, yes, it might be possible. We knew that there was a time when flying in the air seemed to be impossible in the past for the people of that era. But now it's a regular thing. Similarly, we should wait until the future reveals itself to us.
