Bitcoin is king, and the king of kings when it comes to cryptocurrencies as far as I'm concerned.  The best thing about btc is that there's no person or group running it like you see with so many of the shitcoins out there, especially the PoS ones (which I used to be a fan of). 

Just take a look at all the truly awful shitcoins that have taken a beating in the past day since ETH went PoS.  None of them even come close to bitcoin in terms of dominance or usefulness.  Is that going to be the case forever?  Maybe not, but damned if I know of a challenger with any serious credibility.

There are so many coins with attractive features, but none of them are as decentralized and censorship-resistant as Bitcoin. Even Ethereum (ETH) decided to sacrifice decentralization just to please the regulators. It's all about reducing carbon emissions (energy efficiency) and enriching whales to gain all of the attention in the mainstream world. Some PoS cryptocurrencies offer holders attractive rewards just to stay ahead of the game. But again, they're missing what makes Bitcoin best (which is decentralization and censorship-resistance). I think that's why Bitcoin is still (and will always be) the most valuable cryptocurrency in the world. I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the future, around 99% of altcoins die while Bitcoin remains untouched.

I have no doubts about the advantages of bitcoin with gold. but of course both have their advantages. such as gold which is suitable as savings because the price is not too volatile and relatively stable. different from bitcoin which is more suitable to be used as an investment asset. because even though the fluctuation is high. but it is proven that bitcoin can always break price records when the bull market returns. currently blocking the rate of increase in bitcoin is from the economic crisis that hit the world.

We can agree that the majority of people trust and are interested in btc because of the return of investment  but there are also few classes of people whose interest are more than the roi, their interest is more of the self control of funds btc provides, ability to make payments anonymously, elimination of third party during transaction and so forth.
To some, it is all about the profit,  and to other's it goes beyond that.

Why would having no patience would never invest in bitcoin? which you could eventually deal up with it on more active manner on just playing its moving price which if we do look up
and consider on the liquidity and volume then we could really play along with those movements but of course this is something that you cant really just deal with it easily.
You could be both a holder and an active trader at the same time which do accumulate and earn on the same coin which is Bitcoin.Its up to you whether you would really be
touching up other ground area which is on alts and since not all people are really that patient then you could really expect something like this in regards with the action

When you know that it is quite safe to invest in Bitcoin because it proves the price constantly grows from one bullrun to another bullrun, you should be confident and patient to invest in Bitcoin. You become impatient because you don't really understand the history of Bitcoin price growth, you only speculate about the possibility of an increase in Bitcoin price. So, if you have enough knowledge about Bitcoin, you must be a patient investor.

Anyway, investing in Bitcoin isn't a must for 4 years or more, you can invest for the short term. Or you can choose a daily/weekly/monthly trade if you want to get fast profits. So, there is no reason that you can't invest or hold Bitcoin, it is only your assumption.

Fiat currencies have lost a large portion of their value due to rising inflation rates. The COVID-19 pandemic, constant government spending, and the Russia-Ukraine crisis have affected the global economy at a large scale. Bitcoin may've lost its value in Fiat terms, but its supply has remained unchanged. It's still a scarce and valuable asset which has retained its purchasing power over time. Compared to other alternatives, Bitcoin is the best performing asset in the world.

I think more people will embrace Bitcoin as Fiat falls to a point where there's no room for recovery. El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, so it should only be a matter of time before other countries do the same. Who knows if Bitcoin ends up beating Fiat for good? Just my opinion

They will in time or if not sooner judging by the rate at which Fiat is losing value. My local currency is so valueless against the usd that prices of commodities are high, many minimum income earners are struggling to buy consumables. The inflation rate as at August is 20.52% according to an online source, and the situation is not anywhere near better.

This dwindling situation of fiat will expose many locals to btc and how they can take advantage of it, even though the government will fight to discourage people from using btc as a better choice and alternative, the hard situation will make it happen regardless of what the government authorised.

Bitcoin is indeed important if we talk about freedom without being controlled by the center. bitcoin embodies that freedom. with a non-centralized system. and that's what makes bitcoin important. but gold and fiat also have their own specialties.

gold as my savings.

because fiat is not suitable for savings, let alone investment. because its value continues to weaken from time to time.
