Bitcoin has indeed been declared bad too many times. I think there's even a thread on Bitcointalk somewhere, dedicated to times it happened. In part, the media are to blame, as they use things like corrections to talk about the price 'plummeting' and stuff like that. But the media do what 'sells' best (is read/watched most), so it's also humanity's desire for drama, for action that drives others and resources to such things as declaring Bitcoin dead.
Bitcoin is a survivor, I agree to that. But also, I think that if it can still lose more than two-thirds of its value in comparison with ATH, it's way too volatile. Furthermore, it doesn't seem that more or significantly more places accept Bitcoin now than, say, 3 years ago, so adoption of it as money isn't going very well. El Salvador is a big exception, a step forward, but it's one big step in years.

It's not logical to imitate bitcoin, it's just like trying to imitate the US dollars, the popularity of bitcoin has already gone to far to me duplicated and no coin can even come close to initiating it.

Bitcoin is not dead because there is still high demand coming from it that makes the people benefited from it. And if ever it will die in the future, expect that altcoins too will die eventually because altcoins are only dependent on the future of bitcoin. From 2017 until now when I discovered Bitcoin, I experienced and watched twice the bull market and also experienced a bear market movement.  I understand the sentiment of those people who throw negative to Bitcoin when a bear market comes, before I will hate or ignore them I just try to give an explanation that the market will recover soon.  Most of them say Bitcoin is dead when there's a bear market but when the bull market comes they become full of regret about why they didn't invest while in the bear season.

I used to think so, the people who always say bitcoin is dead are the ones who missed the chance to hold bitcoin when its price was low and now they envy the people who own more bitcoins and get richer. This way they create fake news about bitcoin, spread fake news about bitcoin to scare many people and make people panic sell bitcoin cheaply then they will silently buy bitcoins for themselves. Once they have collected enough bitcoins, they will hail bitcoin as the savior of the world. There have been many such cases where they initially slandered bitcoin but later claimed to have invested in it.
