I choose ethereum, Polygon, Cardano as the first choices. And then, I choose Solana, ApeCoin, Tron as the second choice. And for the third choice, I choose Sandbox, Chainlink, Cosmos, and Shiba Inu.

But I feel ethereum still has a big chance to grow as many people still have the confidence to invest in ethereum. But no one knows what will happen to the altcoin market as every coin now have the same chance to grow. You can invest in all coins you mention if you want but that will cost big money to start investing. So you need to find it by yourself

Supposedly 10 types of Altcoins should exist as assets in the wallet, but I think Ethereum is what you should have compared to other Altcoins because you also know how Ethereum has potential. Don't forget Binance Coin too.
BNB also has a good growth rate in the market. ETH and BNB need to dominate your wallet over other altcoins. They have tremendous potential in the future.

The only ones of those I would hold are Polygon and Chainlink. I would remove the meme coins and replace those with XRP and ICP.

Tron. I chose tron this time because tron is actually a good project, the coins are also no less good but just lack of community. There have been many discussions on Tron over the years, there is no much progress. They had some improvement in the bull market and there is no news of any about it. But the OP listed the first 5 coins according to my knowledge those five coins are the best coins. If one of these coins is to be talked about then Ether can be said to be the best among the altcoins.

Solana isn't fully decentralized because of their recent activities and reports. Also Apecoin is good, however don't stick with one coin for long term when it's related to NFT hype.

None. In 2023, the market will still be experiencing the effects of the crypto-winter that reigns through 2022. I'm not sure we can talk about any growth potential at all before bitcoin halves. The crypto industry needs to recover from serious price losses and it's not happening as quickly as we'd like. Maybe in 2023 some new big player will appear among altcoins, which will partially change the rules of the game, because bitcoin and ethereum will still remain on their previous positions.

No one really knows when the market will start to recover, and maybe this long term bear market will still be happening the following year and will continue to affect the crypto prices. However, if I’m gonna chose from OP’s list of potential coins, I’d still go for ethereum since it’s also as essential and influential like bitcoin. And if bitcoin price surges, then ethereum price too will definitely follow the path of bitcoin.

Ethereum has been known to us and it really stays potential even during the bear season. But, considering Polygon and Solana kinda be a good try as well as they both have the potential also. But those other coins that have been mentioned by OP, it is quite not the best option to take, not really.
As we aim for long-term investment, we've better choose those coins/projects that really can be trusted to avoid losing our money, as we lose into hype projects or shitcoins.

I really agree with this. ETH is the most potential option besides Bitcoin to buy and then to hold in order to prepare for the next bullish. The price of Ethereum itself is right now only around $1,643
We really expect that this will be multiple times higher and of course ETH deserves this increase in the next bullish era or even for a longer time investment. And with ETH, we may not need to worry because this altcoin has high potential.
Other altcoins may have higher multiple times of increases, but we are still not sure that they are really able or not.

Of course Ethereum is very good as an investment choice, because Ethereum has always been ranked 2nd in coinmarketcap after Bitcoin.
This means that Ethereum is the best altcoin, after all, if we look at the track record of Ethereum's movement, it is indeed extraordinary.
The price of Ethereum keeps going up every time a bull market comes, so buy Ethereum when it's a bear market, it is a good move and

And that is what makes so difficult to invest in those coins, even if we know they may have a greater performance than what we could see out of ethereum, are you going to risk your capital in something that may not work just to obtain some higher profits? It is better to take the safest path and invest in ethereum even if the profits will be smaller, since you know the chances that you will get them are many times higher and this is something incredibly valuable for investors which value certainty over speculation.

So definitely, anyone can say that whatever coin from this list you choose or add to your portfolio, that means you will definitely get your profit if there is not any unfortunate situation like Luna. Otherwise, if we say we can give you a guarantee. because you selected the top altcoin in the market. And I also have some from this list. And the coins you added to your portfolio like Solana and Apecoin are both the strongest in the market. I am not sure about Ape, but in the case of Sol, I am the biggest fan of it. But both are strongest at the expense of the team and financially too. That's my overall opinion.

Ethereum is really still the top pick on OP's list, but if you expand with Polygon and Solana, I'd add Cardano and Cosmos. In my opinion, these are two very reliable and potential coins that are not inferior to matic and sol. In the list of 10 coins that almost all have potential, if Tron, Shiba and Ape are excluded, the remaining coins are worth holding until 2023.

It's all just our opinion, but the final decision is still the OP's, as long as he does his own research. Don't completely follow someone's advice, it's for reference only.
