The use of Crypto is legal in the UK. However, the world governments and agencies intend to proficiently regulate crypto assets not to only give investors transparency, but also to make gains and income from the crypto markets taxes and legal fees.
Current data shows crypto ownership rapidly rising yearly. Almost 6.2% of UK adults currently hold cryptocurrency. It is also currently home to 249 high-growth companies developing blockchain-driven software and blockchain services.
With its recent regulatory moves, it stands to ensure the need for crypto exchanges to register with the Financial Conduct Authority, FCA, unless they have applied for an e-money license.
The Queen is dead, but grift lives forever.
Queen Elizabeth’s death has informed the creation of over 40 meme coins on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, and at least an exploitative NFT collection entitled “Queen Elizabeth 69 Years NFT”. The aim of the collection is so as to offer a yearly picture of the Queen’s reign. One of the reasons to doubt the project’s intent include the fact that Queen Elizabeth II reigned for 70 years, not 69.

How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.

It doesn't. Period.

So basically a bunch of shitcoins and scam NFTs were created for a quick cash grab. Some people simply want to make money out of every event. There's a special place in hell for such people. The "69 years NFT" seems like a joke. Some people have a dark sense of humor I guess.
Most of the non-Anglo-Saxon world doesn't care about the British monarchy or the state of the UK crypto markets.
I'm sure that cryptocurrencies have a future in the UK.

There were lots of parody and fake accounts trying to take advantage of the hype resulting from the Queen of England's death, there would almost certainly also be donation scams. physical artwork rush representing English royalty and other means scammers or hype jobbers would try to use and make a quick buck. This is not a crypto problem, it is an obvious result of such a global event.

How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.
As said above, there is really nothing to discuss here.

How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.

In no way whatsoever! That queen did not interfere in any financial regulations related matter ever so there's no impact on the crypto market or even on the mainstream financial market. UK is one of the strongest economies of the world and one of the biggest users of crypto currency. It will remain as it is unless the new prime minister decides to do something drastically different and unfavorable to cryptos.

Crypto Vultures Capitalize On Queen Elizabeth's Death

Now look at this title carefully. Who is being capitalized? The answer, in sheer irony, is other vultures. Practically nobody else is using these tokens, not even most people who would ordinarilly fall for other scams.

Yes, about crypto and the monarchy. I believe that there will be no long term impact on the crypto market. Queen Elizabeth II's death may create uncertainty on the one hand, but the new monarch will bring a sense of continuity that helps business confidence. While the market impact is uncertain, I see two trends - blockchain technology is entering more industries and authorities are understanding its benefits.

When someone dies, what does someone do?

Everyone praying for the best, some shitty user crypto (Let's created NFTs/Token)". Fack this shit, I happy to see NFTs trend reaching the peek a few month ago. Simple action like this is just made the crypto community bad.

I don't see this having any impact on crypto community, at least not negatively, the world is mourning the queen's demise and should not concern crypto except for the NFT space where scammers are being so despicable at a time like this, taking advantage of this huge loss to profit with their fake shitty creation. It is very sad.

Yeah again, she was Queen, she lived majestic life and ruled amazingly and with perfect mindset. There is no need to connect the dots with current crypto situation and her last day here. Let’s just respect her work and life and May she RIP.

If we really want to change the bitcoins situation then it’s through the developments and these are mostly current scenarios on how to accept the bitcoin and how to make it the original one without Government influence on the same.

I agree with others, it doesn't. Why would Queen passing away would have absolutely anything to do with crypto, how could those two things remotely ever be considered in the same sentence. In fact, the real question is, how did OP came up with this question? What did made OP consider these two things could somehow be considered to be related to each other one way or another?

I believe that it is quite impossible for these two things to be remotely similar in the subject and impact each other. Queen passed away, crypto is still going on without any changes and if UK ever has any changes, it would be for unrelated reason for sure.

Well despite the fact that we are still in mourning the demise of the Queen of England who passed away yesterday, I don't want to speculate about the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that seems to have spiked up in the last 24 hours. I read somewhere where the phasing out of banknotes and stamps that carries the Queen's face will be a role in England's banking system and circulating currencies so I don't know if that is what resulted in mass crypto usage in England since citizens will be looking out for a better alternative to banknotes at this moment.

I wonder if that data and percentage is accurate and if it is or not, where did they extracted that data and to be specific in the UK.

How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.
The only thing that I've noticed is that there are a bunch of scammers making new tokens naming after her and riding on the death of the queen which they shouldn't. So, I guess that's the affection that you're looking for the crypto market with her demise.

Other than that, we've seen the quick push of bitcoin and it's no way related to her.

In general, no, but locally only negatively, because on the background of this news there are various speculations, in the form of NFT and DEX tokens, whose creators seek to capitalize on the hype around this news. People, under the impression, start investing in these useless tokens, which will very quickly turn into scams. The market starts to be flooded with fraudulent projects at that time. Of course it's not Queen's fault, but that's how this market works, so anything related to Queen's death should be avoided right away, because it's a scam.

How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.

The demise of Queen Elizabeth shouldn't affect the UK crypto market in any way.  But then people who are keen to exploit events are making scams or money grab schemes out of the current situation.  One example is developers creating NFT of the things that are in connection with the queen such as pictures.

This is an obvious money grab if they intend to sell it.  I would change my mind if they just do NFT of those portraits to showcase the years of reigning of the queen in tribute to her greatness.

How does the demise of Queen Elizabeth II affect the UK crypto market? Let's discuss.
Scammers will take advantage of her death and try to devise a means to benefit this season via crypto, you can already hear that there was massive token launch themed after the queen just immediately after her death .  For people who will fall prey to these cheap scams as new comers, it may affect their decision to want to be in the crypto market.

I actually think the death of her Queen, will have even the slightest bit of impact on the surge of crypto. The reason for saying so is due to the fact that it created an opportunity for creators to create NFTs portraying her 70years reign, it will of course be history in the block chain system for a time as this only comes once, having a slight spike in the usage of crypto and almost out-phasing of bank notes.
Also, with whatever shit coins that may have been launched, it only stands to prove the authenticity of Bitcoin and how more reliable than the regular traditional bank they are these days.

I would change my mind if they just do NFT of those portraits to showcase the years of reigning of the queen in tribute to her greatness.

Remind me to start a Muhammad Ali NFT collection in the near future.

It doesn't have any effect on the market, crypto has been in a surge as of late. So obviously, the news of the death of the Queen didn't put any dent on the market.

But there are people with no moral compasses in the market that we live in. They will just take on every opportunity to make money even if it is the death of the Queen herself by having a lot of these so called meme coins in supposedly in the honour of Queen Elizabeth but we all know that it is not true at all.

Queen Elizabeth's death spawned more than 30 memecoins on the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks and at least one NFT collection. While the news of the passing of the British monarch was greeted with grief around the world, many bad guys in the cryptocurrency market took the opportunity to release dozens of meme coins.
