Moderators on that site seem to want to silence people calling out

Market manipulation being illegal. Pump and dumps are ILLEGAL

I think they want to shift the narrative that these things aren't considered "fraud" because they're "unregulated".

Just because you figured out a new way to commit fraud doesn't mean you're extempt from the already broad laws regarding this.
