No idea what that is but if they are promising to double/triple/quadruple/etc.. your coins if you send it to them, then it's a pretty common scam. Money doesn't grow magically. Don't send them any cent, op. Be careful with strangers talking about money, they're most likely up to no good.

There is nothing called coin flashing. But there is an altcoin called flash. Also there is flash crash, which can be referred to when the price of a coin fall abruptly, which is referred to as flash crash.
But flash crashing is not any term yet in crypto, or maybe not yet common, but I see nothing related to flash crasing yet as of today.

I have heard this term before, always in the context Potato Chips already described: it's a popular (old) scam method given a new name to lure in new victims.

Don't rely on them it's looks like pretty much scam. Such messages are often available on Telegram, but do not fall for them. There was nothing about coin flashing But I think by coin flashing he means he will increase your coins amount But don't rely on them all your money to invest will be lost. From this you put your coins in staking. It will gradually increase the amount but it will protect you from scamming.

Someone once used the term " bitcoin flashing" which actually describes bitcoin transactions using the RBF feature. Or a bitcoin term closer to the OP's intent might be " Bitcoin Lightning", assuming the OP uses a translator for the word "Flashing". This is another bitcoin transaction mechanism to overcome the scalability and fees of normal transactions. I'm not a technical fan, you should refer to the technical discussion board for a more complete and correct explanation.

Looks like it has something to do with sending "fake" bitcoin transaction onto the network thru bitcoin forks which I don't know if that's possible. Flash BTC is a software designed to enable you to send fake Bitcoin from any wallet address to another wallet address on the blockchain network (Coinbase, Binance, Blockchain, etc.) for free, this is a Bitcoin fork that enables a Bitcoin transaction to be generated on the Bitcoin network coming to BTC flash I never heard of it as a hard fork atleast Source: https://www.quora.com/Is-BTC-Flash-a-scam-or-legit

Sending you fake tokens and once you transact that token you’ll get hacked? Be careful with that kind of offer though I’m not really sure about that coin flashing but if they are asking for money and promising you something in return, most probably its an scam scheme. Don’t ever trust anyone with your wallet details, many scams like this before and probably this is their new strategy to scam people.

Well, you better not entertain if someone's trying to tell you that both of you can get "free" bitcoins that seems to be sketchy. Actually, it's good that you've asked first before proceeding. If it wasn't for your question, probably you've already fell for the scam that he's about to you. Don't entertain that person again whoever is telling you to do it.

As soon as someone tells you that they know how to multiply your coins if you send them your current ones, cut off all communication with them. There is no method increase your coins like that and what the person wants on the other side is to catch your greed and feed it with a false promise so your logical thinking is blunted. Remember that Bitcoin transactions are irreversible and therefore such users are always scammers, whatever flashy name they give to their method.

Soo, you give then they send? Then that's a scam, easy enough to understand. Pretty sure anything that asks for money in return for profit (that is guaranteed) already screams a scam, no matter the type or form, any investment would always have the risk of you losing money. So if someone approaches you with a "foolproof" strategy of investment, then it's basically a scam.
It seems that in this case though, they'd ask you for money and send you a transaction proof they did by using Flash BTC I think? Found the same source as Maus, not familiar with it though nor do I actually know how it works. Just ignore the person who approached you OP.

I thought this was some kind of a new technology here in cryptos and you want to discuss how it works but it turns out that you also don't know what is it and you're also asking us the same thing. What I know is that in cryptos there are flash loans but I think they are totally different from this one. Anyway, if someone approaches you and asks you something (preferably coins) then that is suspicious as they can be a scammer and willing to empty your wallet so please be careful with random people as you don't really know if what is their true intentions. Just stick only on the common technologies in cryptos as they are already proven.

greed is a loophole exploited by scammers. This means that someone who is targeted will continue to be promised to multiply their coins or give a discount on some transactions made. it's better to avoid all that. a stranger who suddenly opened a chat certainly had a hidden meaning. I never trust someone who sends messages on social media like on telegram and twitter. it is a nest of scammers. I hope the OP will not fall about the promise of this coin flashing. Which, is not really a normal practice in this crypto market, because it is more on the scam side. People are getting trapped because of this type of promise, getting attracted with high profits at a short period of time. There are so many sites now offering high percentage of return in short period of time, but mostly, you won't get even your initial investments. As this site will give you your earnings in the first few payouts, but later on, they will find excuses or worst, their site will be closed down.

This is news to me since I haven't heard of this term ever before, if I were you don't just randomly accept any requests from a stranger it might just be a tactic of them to scam you. Just sending coin is fine as long as it's safe but if there are tasks to be done while receiving it would likely give a doubt.

I’m not familiar with this one, I don’t know if this is just a scam or a real transaction in cryptomarket. Though you said that they are asking for you to send money and then what? If they promise to give you or double your money that a scam for sure but if they give you money in return of something, i don’t know maybe ask them for a clearer information. If there’s a money involve asking for your wallet keys, don’t try to make any deal with them, that’s a trap.

Google said Bitcoin flashing is a sudden decrease of Bitcoin price. In short it means a Bitcoin dump/crash. Another information point to Flash BTC software. And if someone offers you a coin in exchange of some amount, this might have somethng to do with it. Anyway most cases that message this kind of stuff intend to scam their target. This may have a relation to this thread on reddit, saying Flash BTC is a software designed to enable sending fake BTC from any wallet to another wallet. There’s a lot of fake tokens being sent to many wallets, once you make any transactions with that, hackers might have a chance to control your wallet and get your money. So to OP, don’t listen to that offer, it’s a scam and not good for you avoid to deal easily to anyone as much as possible.

I'm not sure what it is but it sounds like cleaning a coin. Lol
These scammers are everywhere making something new that we don't even know what it means just to take advantage of something that they think they know. But anyway, if a stranger talks to me like that and then asked to send them some BTC then that's probably a scam. Why would I send them some Bitcoin if what they were talking doesn't even exist in the first place.
Good thing, OP you came to ask here first before it's too late.
