So now that I moved my miners to RVN I want to make money with ETH but I don't have 32 ETH to stake, more like 1.5 ETH. Is there a pool for staking how does it work? Is there a reputable pool for staking? I was going to do ethermine but they don't allow staking from the USA. I'm not gonna sell unless the prices goes way up again and I'm fine with just holding it but I'd like to earn interest or wherever if someone could help point me in the right direction.

coinbase will give you 3-4%

and lock that shit up for months to come.

which is why staking is a suckers game.

at the moment for every staked eth there are 7 not staked.

so freeze your coins and hope the loose coins do not crush you.

good luck.

I rather cash my eth and convert it to etc.

Yes its not worth it in my opinion. The rewards are just way too low.

You can buy some US Government Bond and they yield almost 4%. And that is gauranteed and very low risk compared to keeping it locked up on an online exchange. Anything less than 10% and its just not worth staking or yielding anything crypto related due to the risks involved.

Didn't think of it like that, I guess I'll just hold for a bit and sell when I get around to it or when the price goes back to normal.

Why don't you convert it to Bitcoin as long as there is still a good exchange rate between the two,it is 0.074 Bitcoin for 1 Ethereum.I think this is the best thing to do right now because let me tell you that history has shown that every coin that has moved to PoS from PoW has failed miserably soon after,so don't delay your exchange,Ethereum price may go up in these couple of upcoming days but the long term for it can only look south and you will lose value of your 1.5 Ethereum that you have made from mining.

Yeah i remember bought cake for 100$ staked it and after 1month i lost 20$. I got 80bucks back all staked rewards included. It is bullshit. Or you must buy coin at lowest price but who knows whats lowest price? Mining was good thing.

Generally with staking the highest yields are the most volatile coins. So you might get 100% APY on some random altcoin however if it losing 90% of its value then you are not out ahead.

ETH staking is better because its a high market cap coin like BTC. It most likely won't lose 90% value in a few months. The issue is that the staking rewards are just way too low right now.

When it reaches the point where you can put it in a bank savings account and invest in some bonds which is iron-clad safe rather than stake it with an online exchange for similar rewards, the former makes more sense.

If the rewards grow to 10% a year then thats a different story.

if you are us citizen i bond is 9.62% you can buy up to 10k

and the bond is perfectly pegged to usd.

if i stake eth in coinbase eth price can go up down zero pegged to usd and pays 3.5%

so what the fuck do i need to stake eth.

i do have 300 usd worth of eth staked on coinbase.
i have 8000 in i bonds.
if i had spare eth i would swap it for etc.

but thats me and i am a us citizen.

ETH dev said you may only get back your staked eth in 2024. So be very careful about this.
