Working from home has actually become a double-edged sword to a lot of workers. It would have been better if working from home remains to have fixed time setup. The problem is that there isn't to many workers. I have heard of complaints from teachers here in my place that working from home has actually made them a lot busier than it was when they worked at school. They're now heavily loaded that the time they're spending working has actually increased. So while you're working from the comforts of your home, it isn't a big deal since you're still too absorbed in your work.

working at home means you are doing two jobs at once actually, as someone who has a family, I always work on my online business and also open forums at home, so often my time clashes, my time has been very chaotic, I  can't control my time to take care of everything because my child is sick, well, I really have to do this, because everything is my responsibility, and I get through everything smoothly, I haven't worked outside the home for a long time, actually I quite miss work pressure when working outside the home lol.

Working at home doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re working two jobs. It may be a window for one to be able to work multiple jobs at the same time, but it doesn’t mean that you already do two jobs at once. See it as no different from how you go to the office everyday and sit on your desk to do your obligated tasks. Additionally working from home doesn’t mean you can’t get under pressure. If your boss asks you to deliver something, you’ll put in the same energy and stress because at the end of the day, you have to deliver that thing.

I think some of us are also still working remotely.
And to anticipate distractions when we work, we can communicate with family members that when we are in front of a computer or laptop, we ask them not to disturb us.
Maybe sometimes they will come up to us and have a chat but try to let them know that we are working.
After we work for a few hours, try to take a break to unwind and regroup with them while chatting.
If working remotely, we need to talk to other family members so there won't be any misunderstanding between us.
That was what I was thinking as well. We can be working remotely fr home. but the challenges we normally face is that family members and children will always disturb us, because they think that you are just playing with your mobile phone not knowing you are working as well, but romotely. Sometimes when my family tries to make noise when am on system I usually let them know that am working.

Absolutely agree with your observations and point but unfortunately work from home has not been so smooth as either the employee is taking this for granted or else the boss or organisation makes the employee do extra hours in pretext of saving their transportation and travelling time. I have seen companies asking their employees to do extra hours as they would be saving the travelling time and cen the tasks has been increased wherein people are forced to stretch the shift. It has to be disciplined both the ways not only towards the workers and it should be unbiased.

It is best to have your own space and also always remind your family members when you have meetings or if you are distracted because we cannot prevent this kind of behavior as we are just working at home but if you are constantly reminding and telling them it will work. This happened to me in the past few years. They thought that I was just sitting all day and not stressed about it but they were wrong. That is why I keep telling them every time I want a quiet environment.

Many distractions may make you stressed and reduce your focus at work. You need peace and comfort so that you can focus more on your work so that it can be completed within the specified time. Targets achieved from good work results will certainly increase satisfaction at work and this can increase a sense of loyalty to the company. Another advantage of working remotely is that you can set a consistent work schedule every day, such as waking up earlier to pursue work targets so you can set rest time.
Working remotely must be able to minimize all forms of chaos around the place where you work, determine a comfortable work environment so that you are more enthusiastic about working. I prefer to determine my own working hours so that I can increase satisfaction after achieving targets from good work results.

Indeed, there are pluses and minuses when we work remotely or work from our own home in the presence of our own family and children. I usually always tell my children when I want to work so that they don't bother me too much because the children will still play near me even though I'm working. That's why sometimes I often use my work time when I'm in the office or when I'm in my own shop so that I can have more freedom and maximum performance at work. The only drawback is that I have to use more time for the trip, even if it's only ten or fifteen minutes to leave the house or when returning home.

I think that if this happens in the field, a senior giving his duties to a junior, I consider the senior to be irresponsible, and it is true what you say that if that happens it will definitely cause problems for the team, and in my opinion not include the compact that I meant above.
Agree! Most of the time this happens in a corporate company wherein seniors always give their duty to the junior level and new hires, where in fact, it's their task to be done in the first place. That's why many junior levels has been intimidated to them as if those seniors didn't go through that level. Also thos seniors still benefit from management's praises even though they are not the one who did the work but once you make a mistake, you will be blamed immediately.

I believe remote working is not for everyone, I myself are a remote worker tho I consider myself as an introverted and I don't really like hanging out with friends I still feel lonely sometimes, my coworkers are from around the world, we never meet in real life, and I don't have time to go find a friend in real life. I can't imagine if someone who are an extrovert and like to socialize working remotely, they wouldn't survive it.

I can't imagine if someone who are an extrovert and like to socialize working remotely, they wouldn't survive it.
Well, having an introverted personality seems to be very suitable for remote work. Because I think an introvert is always more comfortable working from home and doesn't want to be disturbed by lots of people around. But even extroverts often have remote jobs. I personally am a person whose type of work is flexible. Sometimes I have to go to the office but sometimes my work can also be done at home or remotely. But more work has been done in the office this year. In previous years during the pandemic I worked remotely. And yes, for those who are not used to it, it can be quite boring. Sometimes our productivity decreases. But because my work has a time limit that must be completed. So I still have to be disciplined at work even though I work from home. And then subconsciously I started to get used to it and started enjoying working from home.

I work remotely and I don't bother about my dressing except I'm to have a video call and they're always scheduled so I get prepared. After working remote forso log, I don't think I can go back to any other way. I guess I'll trying the dressing thing, but I don't see how it'll work for me because I don't don't feel comfortable when their are a lot of constraints. I do my work well when I'm supposed to and I enjoy it that way.

I’ve been working from home since the pandemic start and all I can say was working at home is surely more stressful and unproductive on my side because there’s a lot of distraction in my home compared when I’m working in my office. The time to start my work too is giving me hard time because it’s too hard for me to get up early morning to prepare for work in my own house without anyone who will monitor you.

I think it boils down to discipline and the kind of person you are.
Some people work better under pressure and some work better under supervision. You just got to choose which works for you. I've met someone who works best when she's given a target in a specific period. It works for her and it makes her very effective. The moment you let her just do it without a target she starts lagging behind. So you've got to figure out what works for you and pick. If you really want to work remotely and you see that it's affecting your output and your working habit negativity, I'll advice you discipline yourself but also see the work as fun and not juat work. This will be easier if you love or enjoy what you do.

Of course, the key to successful remote work is good communication and all team members know what to do, most problems occur because there is no good communication, besides that the head of department must understand the job description and be able to provide solutions if problems occur.
Basically, working together well/compact, I admit, is the best thing of all time, because all work is done carefully and really understands the situation and conditions within the team.

This is really important, because a series of remote jobs that experience problems due to lack of communication between teams, this often happens in remote work. Remote work can actually be done well if they can communicate well, because even a little bit of poor communication can make serious problems, It is also unethical if only with miscommunication the work falls apart, even though this is trivial but it can have a big impact on work so Communication has an important role in remote work.

Also as you said, working together in doing a job will help the work to run well without any serious problems.

Distractions is one big challenge to remote workers, and one of the most relatable ones is that of our phones. It’s common that you see a notification on your phone and you want to check it out, just to notice 10 minutes later that you’re now watching Instagram reels or TikTok. I suggest that when it’s time to work, just because it’s remote doesn’t mean that you should not treat it like it’s office work. Put your phone in a silent mode and keep the tone of your workspace to be like it would be in an office. Don’t feel too relaxed just because you’re at home.
It isn't a challenge to the employer but a challenge to the workers. The one that is affected the most is the remote workers because there is no supervisors, manager, or boss that is around to monitor them. Yes, phones are common because of their portability. This is why I just switch them off and place them away from my reach.

I think there is nothing wrong in relaxing. and I bet, we can relax too when working non-remotely. But like they said, everything that is over are not good anymore. This is the only thing that we should watch out for when we are working remotely. For this, I don't lay down when I'm working online because it makes me sleepy.

then it wont really be that so simple.

Now that we are living in a world on which most work nowadays could really be done remotely or could be done online. As a remote worker then it would really be that needing up those common sense

Right you say, maybe some companies will require their workers to have a pc/laptop, just like me. Where I initially did not have a PC, but because of the demands of the company to have a PC / laptop, in the end I inevitably sold my motorbike and then bought a set of PCs, because what was needed was a PC / laptop in this job. But not all remote work must also be done with a pc/laptop, there are some jobs that are independent of a pc or laptop where they do not use a pc/laptop to work. So it can be concluded that not all jobs require using a PC/laptop.

Working at home doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re working two jobs. It may be a window for one to be able to work multiple jobs at the same time, but it doesn’t mean that you already do two jobs at once. See it as no different from how you go to the office everyday and sit on your desk to do your obligated tasks. Additionally working from home doesn’t mean you can’t get under pressure. If your boss asks you to deliver something, you’ll put in the same energy and stress because at the end of the day, you have to deliver that thing.

Exactly work is a responsibility no matter you are working from a home or are going outside for doing a job. There will exactly same stress and burden to fulfil the required task on a time. Some people are saying that if one is working at home will be free to do it but I will say that at office you have to work for at least five or six hours but at home you will have to work whole day as there and pressure will be more in online working as compared to physical job. People are working from home because they are not getting their desire job so instead of wasting their time in useless things they often start online working. I think every job is tough but it's our courage and interest which makes everything easy for us.

As good and rewarding as working from home can be, if you don't plan it well you might put yourself at a serious disadvantage and might harm yourself by the excesses that come with it.

As you pointed out, one of the major challenges that come with working from home is not setting a schedule and this might cause you to outwork the normal working hours thereby bringing health publication to yourself.

Another serious issue regarding working from home is that because it requires you to sit for hours doing the job, there are some health implications attached to it that if not properly managed, might cause serious damage to the person in his old age. Regarding this it's very necessary that a work from home person takes his exercise seriously and also monitor his habit so he doesn't work in a way that would be injurious to his health.
