When there is no central body which is helping the investors there does happen loads of problems and these problems are ofcourse going to arise when we are talking about, " decentralized" systems thus these risks are substantial but they cannot be changed as well. I do think that you must try and look for wallets that do ask you all the details, that's the maximum that you can do because no one would be able to just freeze it without reason.
Thus you have to ask privacy vs security?
What do you need ?
It's honestly going to be a hard time, therefore what you can do is opt for paper wallets or nano x etc.
