What is the real difference between bull and bear market and how can one utilize them to make some good profits?

Here's the chart to help you understand better.

Bear market is every crypto price is dropping, which is indicated in the chart with red arrow.
And bull is with green arrow which indicates price rise.
But it has to be in a time phase of more than months.
A simple rise or drop of price in a short amount of time doesn't indicate a Bull or Bear market.
Currently, we are in a bear market which is running for a year now.

for investors bear market is the best opportunity to invest. but when it comes to profit. then we usually only expect to make a profit when the bull market comes. and our main focus in the bear market is to keep accumulating. because not much can be expected to profit in a bear market. unless we are traders who do scalping every day or take advantage of small increases and decreases. Certain people always feel sorry for their selves by not buying when bitcoin is so cheap because they got afraid that there are more to come with this. And they got fomo when bull market is happening then new ATH has been achieved, they need to change this because for getting fomo they mostly lost their money because most of this they buy at the top and get wiped out when correction happen.

People should see the bear market as opportunity for them to buy some good cheap coins.

In a bear market you should buy as much as you can and hold it for a long time.  One has to invest a lot and have a lot of patience for bull markets.  You should never invest for short term because it is best to invest for long term.  Because the market will grow at some point, now is the best time to invest in a bear market.

If they still have money to invest, they should do it before it's too late, but before investing, they should know where the market is going so they can adjust accordingly and adapt to the circumstances. Right now, the market is still in a bear market, so we all have time to buy more but remember, only buy coins with upside potential like bitcoin and focus on that. If you want to buy other coins, you must calculate how much money you can use because your focus is on bitcoins. And investors have started to move since the downside, and they are still waiting for even lower prices. But if the price is going to increase again, they are already starting to see how big their profit will be.

Honestly I think the best way to get an understanding and best way to utilize the bull and bear market phenomenons is to learn how to trade the technical way which includes chart reading and the alike. Telling someone, "buy low and sell high" isn't enough on its own as this requires some trading education to help simplify this journey. Once one gets the grasp on trading you can now make your money without breaking a sweat or being caught on the wrong side of the market.

especially in bitcoin when the price drops deeper than the ATH price it is definitely called bearish and when the bitcoin price rises higher than before, it is called bullish.

Yeah, it is more on the price movement but aside from that, sentiment also plays a huge part in being bullish and bearish.  The market sentiment is bullish when the demand is piling up and news around the corner is positive about Bitcoin gain.  The market reacts more when positive news is released and react less when negative news is released and vice versa for a bearish market.

+1 mate , and that needs full understanding and not just listening to others opinion about what is bull or when same as the bear.

What we need to take here is that our capacity to keep the funds inside while there is bear , and willingness so sell when there is a Bull.

Apart from the differences which you mentioned, I will add that a bear market is usually longer and more painful while a bull market lasts for a relatively smaller time period, and it is an exciting period.

People say that we should accumulate in a bear market but usually, the bear market is so painful that retailers do not buy out of fear and miss this golden opportunity.

In a bull market, there is too much hype that people keep on buying and forgot to sell the coins for a profit.

I think bulls and bears came from the stock market first because they are also first before crypto came out. Later on we use those terms here. Not only those actually but terms like FOMO, FUD, HODL and so on are also adopted here in the crypto market.

I guess that is because both of them works the same. Their value can rise and fall. Then there are manipulators which came to take advantage by scaring investors through fuds other than dumping the price heavily. Those people who missed to profit during a bull are either they over HODL their cryptos or they continue buying more at the top but then the price just nose dive unexpectedly. These should be corrected if we want to succeed here in crypto.

Your definition of bear market is very interesting & it is true that hardships & tough times push us towards trying/experience various types of strategies to get best results.
It is also important to don't get demotivated during the bear run & make use of this opportunity to continue accumulating coins/tokens of good projects.
During the bull run, it is equally important, not to take impulsive decision to selling assets and wait for peak of the market to book optimum profit.

When I read the part of your comment that said always take profi and projected it for a good strategy, I was just about objecting. Apparently, I've tried that a couple of times with bitcoin and ot was the exact opposite as I ended up regretting most times. In the events of my trier, the price kept appreciating and and felt bad watching watching rise when I knew I could have hodl and have it all. I was trying to maximise profit with the strategy but after a long wait most times, I couldn't leave my money in stable coin and so, I often buy back and surely, its usually less.
