For me its axie infinity. I guess majority got influenced how they roll the dice last 2021. It seems a lot of users or developers got inspired and thats how metaverse born. But before axie, there are older projects for that use case its just that they are the one become popular due to their game axie infinity.

I honestly believe that it is not going to be as good as people think it will be, it will be just an "attempt" and failure that is it. People are expecting the worlds out of the metaverse world, but the reality is that we do not have the tech to continue doing that for now, it is going to be very tough because in the end we are going to face with the truth that meta can't be build with whatever we have right now, not the money, not the resources, not the tools, not the people we have right now in the world could do it.

Of course we can have someone crazy like Elon Musk deciding to spend 50 billion dollars to try to build one, but even that would be very hard and would take a decade to build what "meta" means to us.

As soon as a new project appears that pays a good reward to users, then immediately there are many cheaters with hundreds or thousands of multi-accounts who make good money on it. Until there are effective methods of dealing with multi-accounts, the real indicators will be very different from official statistics.

Future of the entire market? It will always be like that there's something new that will come and a trend of it will be built and during the bull run, everyone will think that it's the best of it and looks like it will never end. But when the bear market comes, everyone will stumble and going to see how hard it is for these projects to recover because it's always like this cycle hitting hard on these projects. It's totally a cycle from the beginning coming from, ico and last trend was NFTs, we'll see the web 3 and layer 1-2 projects and so on.

This is something I think as well, the concept of the metaverse is very attractive and I can understand why people want it to become a reality, but when even the biggest companies around the world are investing a lot of money in this and still their results are not that good then I think it is a mistake to think some sort of breakthrough will be achieved by the developers we have in this market.

And even if we get to see many metaverses appearing I think they are going to be very far away from the expectations people have at this moment.

I think it can still be possible. Meta is a tech and sooner or later someone will tapped or expand the meta on different sector. Its just like facebook before, that really become a huge adoption once the people get to know it. Of course I believe it will take time before going into that but time is just fast, soon we realize we are already on that meta era. Its fine if its a failed attempt. There is no success if we arent open for mistakes along the way.

Guild of Guardians is on my watchlist but I am still hesitant because of the tokenomics, the max supply is 1,000,000 tokens and its for sale at 0.17$ right now, I feel its still very high in value to make good gains from this project, if you feel I am missing something do reply.

Once rewards are seen through 1 main account, they will try to take advantage of it by creating more.

But that will rely on looking at every IP and it's a lot of work. What if one household honestly have different person that is using one connection?
It will take time before they could see a healthy way to prevent it.

unfortunately this is true, those games that are now on the market, do not live long, and the value of their coins and NFT, if there are any, quickly lose in value, of course the project dies

Metaverse is the next in line in the gaming industry.  MMORPG had been a massive success and I can see Metaverse as an upgrade of this trend.  I always believe that Metaverse will dominate the gaming industry because all kinds of games can be integrated with it.

I am also a supporter of axie infinity but I don't think it will maintain its rank.  It had been deteriorating since last year and I think there are new projects that can easily beat it once their development is done.  One of them had been stated in the earlier reply.

The future is still remain a big question for now. In my opinion none can answer this. I think that you must also aware about metaverse was still an experimental. So many developers are still developing this kind of product even further than before.
The progress was doing so good but again it seems like that if it's not anyone who interested with the metaverse right now. The future actually depend on the result from development.

But how do we define "the future is bright"? here? Is it if the project's coin reaches a good market price or if the project is still alive and kicking amid the bear market? There are a lot of concerns for me if the project just becomes hype because of its good price in the market like what happened to some famous P2E games.

To summarize this, no matter how hype the project is, we can't really conclude right away if they will have a bright future. The same happened to other trendy things before like ICO, IEO, IPO, Defi, and many more.

To summarize this, no matter how hype the project is, we can't really conclude right away if they will have a bright future. The same happened to other trendy things before like ICO, IEO, IPO, Defi, and many more.

I agree, any project and attracts a lot of attention, increases the value. but unfortunately not all teams are able to maintain the interest of the community, mostly all just make quick money
