How to investigate and research new projects ?

I am just recently getting into new crypto projects and dont know where to start from whatsoever, i do understand some projects are completely useless while some other projects can be promising, how to investigate on those ?

for example i came across this:

while going through their website i cant see a lot of information on the usecase for this project, they only say:
$AZM-utility-token supporting Azimuth Finance ecosystem and also simplifying and improving platform operation. Token $AZM is used in Azimuth Finance stimulation model as a reward for online activity.

Looking at what their goals are going forward, and what plans they have made for the growth of their project in building partnerships with several communities, that's one of the things we see from some new projects, like the one you gave in this discussion, if the planning in builders doesn't match up in the future. that is applied by their team, then it must be watched out for..

Well I would not trust YT for such stuffs. There's always that possibility that they were paid to do such thing. Any small youtubers could do this just for the sake of earning money of course. With crypto, I watch videos in Youtube just for the sake of learning the technical sides of trading back then, but I do not buy everyone's advice to buy this x and y coin for xxx% APY.

Sure podcasts could be a good thing for trading advice, but that does not mean that you are entirely going to risk it because someone told you so. Imagine being asked why you bought this coin and you answered that "because I was told by a certain youtuber to buy one". It's better to DYOR like always.

If you want to investigate any new project, you need to research some points. Such as
 1. Project whitepaper: You have to read the whitepaper once to understand the project.

It can be copied anywhere and slightly edited and they have a whitepaper of their own.

2. Roadmap: How realistic the project roadmap is should be verified.

For new projects that don't have much to do, I just see them focusing on raising capital rather than building the project first.

3. Team member: Team members must be verified as real or fake.

I see the members are all real but have no reputation, they are just young people with a passion for blockchain and cryptocurrencies, nothing too outstanding.

4. If the project is too tempting, it is more likely to be a scam.

Promises very high APY, so it can be said that the project is not worth the investment.
In short: the project is nothing outstanding to invest in, we are in a bear market, we should stay away from new projects like this, it is very likely that they disappear soon after raising a small capital.

For investigate and research a new project you must follow there product first. if you think there product is good and there future plan is cool then focus on project whitepaper. if you think whitepaper is good and real and it is enough for future development. then check project team they are real or fake. anf they are verified from any audit site or not. if team is real then you can think about investment there but not much.

I opened with your project research and saw interested offering giving with annual APY up to 4282%, I think not really recommended investing with this new project because unrealistic with APY up to 4282% and seem have potential become scam later with price suddenly drop. Many time new project offering APY reward up to 1000% few weeks later price drastically drop. I have been in Helena coins before and given higher APY reward but without one weeks price of Helena coin drop drastically and loss more than 400$ there.

Some time crazy with APY reward offering up to 4282% not recommended with new project for investing, not matter to make research and investigate if you found with APY reward giving up to 1000%. Better new project without have any offering for staking and have good road map planning for the future by listing on bigger exchange market than bigger APY reward.

Actually investing in cryptocurrency needs more observation before the investment can take place, so that mistake will not take place. Actually the coins that have enough potentiality is Bitcoin, and the future and adoption of bitcoin supercedes the future of any other cryptocurrency from my observation. So during investment as newbies the coin that suits for investment as a fresher to invest on is bitcoin and seconded by Ethereum, so any other coin future is not assured through by experience over cryptocurrency investment.

I just avoid that any tokens that being promoted by youtubers. crypto youtubers are shit for now.

Right now, we shouldn't trust any YouTubers or influencers too much. Because most of them are paid people whose purpose is to promote certain projects. And they will not think about whether the project is really good or not. For sure they have benefited from it. And they will always try to convince the audience with the project. Unfortunately, a lot of newbies are trapped by the influencer's incitement.

We also must be careful to trust certain YouTubers and ensure that you have analyzed the projects very carefully, although we know that careful analysis will not guarantee that the project is exactly good and promising. However if the project is doing any pump and dump by utilizing the hypes.

If you are very concerned about your future and make you not to fall into useless coins, then you have to choose those coins that already established community, not these new projects just like you have mentioned. Because the sad reality is that it was too hard to know if they are legit as most of them are scams and worthless projects, and have no intention to make investors earn a profit but for them to scam investors.
If I were you, don't waste your time searching and looking for a promising from these bunch of new projects as likely you will just end up into a scam.

I want to comment on it - I have been into freelancing for over 3 years now. But I am unable to find real worker- people want money and they do not want to work

In some way, that's true. Most of these projects are after for the benefit of their pockets.
Even projects with well-written whitepapers can eventually turn to a crap one.
You can't tell their real intentions up until they disappear and won't answer any of their social media channels.
That is why, if you are in doubt, better invest in top ones like BTC or ETH, at least they have been proven by time.

But with the project OP provided, I think you don't need to spend time researching these, check out the APY they provide right on the homepage, it can be said that this is a scam project that will not have a happy ending.

Their project reminds me of a project with high APY like helena.finance, this project seems to be a clone of helena with high APY promise aimed at attracting newbies, they don't have much knowledge but prefer high profits. Helena quickly fell apart within a few weeks of its launch and I believe a lot of people lost money because of it, with these projects should stay away and do not waste time learning them.

I only use bitcointalk to explore altcoin world in overall. I read through threads searching for gems. After this I note ones I like and I look them over coinmarketcap. I enter their discord or telegram channels and read what people talk about. I also look their twitter and official website to be sure if its a scam or legit project. These are generally enough. Its best to look exchanges later to measure its accessibility as well.

Yes, be smart to make the right choice when investing your money by carry out your personal research to know how the team has made their previous project successful in the community before investing your money on that particular project. I think the first thing that we need to do is to check them out first. Click the link and be redirected to their website and start your investigation by there. You already describe if what items we will investigate. After that, the next step would be following their progress. Follow their social media accounts, forum posts, and groups. So that you will have an idea if they are going to keep their interest going. Once you get confident and you see that they are committed, that is the time to drop some funds.

We will only invest more once the projects run for quite some time or once we already recovered our previous investments, in order for us to be safe.
