I'm looking to sell usdc for cash upfront as other payment methods aren't as secure for me due to chargebacks etc..
I'm located in Midtown NYC and looking for 1:1 ratio. Looking to do around $5,000 usdc to start off with. If possible can text me at 917-544-4493. Thank you.

Why not use P2P exchange on CEX like Binance, Kucoin and OKX. Some of this exchange offers free service fee and most them only charge few percentage that less than 1% to the total amount which is very small compared to the risk that you will take on doing a meetup transaction to some random user here.

You can't, unless you P2P. And nobody will do it for a 1:1 rate, people are trying to make money.

If you're looking to avoid KYC Bisq is a good choice.  The only issue you're likely to face with Bisq is that all trades must include BTC, so you'll have to trade your USDC for bitcoin, then sell the bitcoin for cash.  In the US you can trade bitcoin for Zelle, which is fairly safe from charge-backs.  Since Bisq requires trade deposits, it tends to deter scammers anyway, so the risk is pretty minor.  It can also facilitate face to face transactions that are pretty safe, again due to the way bisq sends the funds to a 2 of 2 multi-sig wallet.  You can also facilitate selling bitcoin for US Postal Money Orders or Cash by Mail.

If bisq is not user friendly, you can use localcryptos p2p exchange. They also don't require KYC. They support only BTC, ETH, DASH, LTC and BCH, so you are going to convert that USDC to one of those coins and then send them over there - https://localcryptos.com/Bitcoin/United_States/Sell

How will he protect himself from an unscrupulous postman who steals that $5,000?
