I have many to share and its always been on two things, chasing my loss and gambling money that I can't afford like your story, and is always the worst day and can be considered a nightmare, its very irresponsible for gamblers to chase loss although we cannot avoid it and gambling money that we can afford to lose which is something we always do.

The worst thing when gambling is of course too selfish to expect victory and choose shortcuts to multiply money, because basically gambling is risking money to play.  In addition to having the courage to accept the consequences, we must also be able to play calmly and not act rashly.  besides that we must be able to avoid using money that should be used for other needs.  obviously Op did the wrong thing because he was tempted to double his money on gambling, this of course has often been done by some people when there are needs and have a short mind.  but most people will definitely experience the same thing when in conditions like Op, because the main goal when gambling is not to have fun but to expect to get a big win from it so that it ends up tragically losing everything

That is called the addiction.We become addicted to gambling without us realizing it,we think everything is O.K with us and we are not at all addicted,we can control ourselves and we can stop gambling any time we want.The fact that despite we are saying these things we go and keep chasing our lost money and by doing so we risk other money we cannot afford to lose it simply means we have become addicted.I was addicted until not long ago but an event where I played slots without getting any emotion in the long run made me quit completely.Sometimes everyone needs such event in order to start thinking and stop gambling.

When you say worst day I think it means a normal loss but in your case it can be called as a worst moment because the money that you have lost is your school fees, so the moment is kinda unforgettable.

My worst day was when I used my school fees to gamble because I thought I will make more money to take care of some of my needs in school. At the beginning I was making profit for 2hrs,I was carried away with the anxiety of winning but later the game turned round and I was losing and losing,I didn't quit hoping I will recover my lost. Before I knew it I was left with 10% of the money I started with, I couldn't just quit the game then because I still feel I will start winning again but luck failed me and I got drained of all I have on me.

    Two weeks later it was announced in school that we only had one more week left for closure of school fees payment, I tried borrowing, seek for help everywhere but nobody could help me with the money.  This was how I couldn't pay my fee for that semester and went home with carry overs after the end of the semester as I was not allowed to write some exams.

That's really a sad incident and I can understand the tension and anxiety that you faced while playing and then losing in gambling. Well, everyone thinks that gambling is a quick money making game, but we realize it later that it is not so easy to make money from gambling.
You can lose money more often in gambling then winning.

By the way, since you do not earn in those school days, what did you tell to your parents, where the school fee money is gone

I withdraw some of that money and I deposited it onto another online gambling site that hosted one of my favorite games (Crash) ..... Losing is very common thing to happen in gambling, I will not take it worst day in gambling.
I would prefer to say that the worst day in gambling is whenever I break my own rules in gambling.
It is when I did not stop while I should stop in both winning or losing situation.
The decision I made to continue gambling while I should have stopped is the worst thing for me.

Why didn't you remember your ability before doing this? What you have done it is look like being addicted to gambling. Don't get become addicted to gambling take this as a entertainment purposes. Investing on gambling is highly risky and before investing on it. That is very exhausting and stressful to your part. I have my own part of experiences of accidentally clicking the maximum bets. Some of them I won but many of them I lost. But the amount of those games were not the same to yours. $5,000 is a big money to gamble it all in just one single day. You were carried away by your emotions reason why you came back attempting to regain your losses but you lost more. It's not true that the house always win but they have very high probability of winning.

I never had any worse or extreme experience of gambling, it is just normal loss and normal wins. I have never won big and I have never lost big, this is because I gamble moderately. The reason why I gamble moderately and responsibly is because the environment and family I grew up, it is a sin to gamble. Even as I am now old enough to gamble and have relocated from my parents, I still have that feeling of not doing the right thing when I gamble and that is why I only do it for fun.

That's so good for you! Not all people have that kind of mindset because I admit that I have had my share of worst days in gambling in the past years as aside from luck, I'm also struggling to limit myself because I'm thinking that I should get what I lost or greed takes the lead that's why I eventually lost more. I think there is a better term for that and it is greediness.  Due to greediness, a gambler tends to bet more and gamble his winnings in hope of getting more winnings.

I quite agree that we need to accept any result from our gambling activities.  We need to accept them and move on so that we can avoid the scenario of chasing losses.  Whether we win or lose in our previous gambling activities, we must start fresh everytime we engage in gambling activities.  Of course we also need to trace our funds movement and plan for our next action responsibly.

First of all, I apologize in advance for what I'm about to say, but your "worst day in the game" only happened because you gambled with money you couldn't afford to lose.
We are all tired of saying and hearing: "don't bet more than what you can lose", but there are people who still insist on doing the opposite and that's why we are reading your report.
You were very lucky to start out winning, and you should have stopped when you got back to your starting bankroll... because in the end the house always wins.

My worst experience in gambling happened on my college days. I was new to crypto that time and looking for some source of income that can provide financial assistance to my studies. You must understand that the chance to make money from gambling is very low. You are too confident if you think it will be easy to multiply money on gambling. Even experienced gamblers won't use their primary money for gambling, they must use the extra money for gambling purposes.

However, you must take a big lesson from that worse day. In the future, you must use safe money for gambling, never use primary funds.
