I'd bet on Jake just because he's the one who initiated this fight and for his previous bouts against MMA legends, he won those with questionable performances from his enemies. Might be the same outcome in here if Silva is motivated only by money, which somewhat shows on some interviews that were done to him. +100 isn't also a bad odd to bet on considering that Jake Paul is also a capable boxer in his own regard. If skills and grit I'd say Silva, but again this is a Paul initiated fight and that should suggest you something.
I would bet otherwise- even if Anderson Silva is at least 45 years old, experience will take you further compared to someone who is relatively new to this sport. I would also bet on Anderson Silva as support to him. Even though I think Jake Paul has advantage in this fight due to his youth and some experience on boxing matches. Anderson Silva is known by many as a legend in UFC. He is a former middleweight champion and his techniques are surprisingly deadly. Though he is against a 25+ year old with more stamina, he can outsmart Jake Paul with his experience and training from all the fights that he'd experience on the field. Not to mention, just one grapple and the fight could be over in an instant. But the thing is UFC is very different from boxing Silva can't kick, grapple and wrestle in boxing. So all this advantages can't be used on the ring . Of course, this is all situational but if I were to bet my money, I would most likely go all in for Anderson Silva.
Same here I will go all in with Silva.

I go on Anderson Silva The dude has good boxing and he will train and be in good condition for fight. There is no reason Silva shouldn't beat him.
Silva is a very sleek fighter I have seen his greatest fights when he was young and at the height of his career, his movement is great its just unfortunate that he takes up boxing quite late, he can make a good career out of boxing, his win against Chavez Jr. can be considered as one of his top fight as Chavez Jr. is still young and a veteran in boxing if Silva shows up with the same stamina and skill when he fought Chavez Jr. then he has a good chance but we must not forget Silva is not young anymore and there's a saying in boxing the mind still wants it but the body cannot keep up anymore, we'll see in this fight if Silva's body can still keep up.

Same with me, though we can say that Paul is very much younger than Silva still we can say that in terms of the experience, stamina and endurance Silva will have more than Paul. Just like other boxer I am following like Pacman if I am not mistaken there are some younger boxer than him but because he still has the stamina and the speed he won in that particular match.

I go with Anderson Silva, because he's professional and have made several records. The professional game will come again once he takes regular practice. Anderson Silva is one among the greatest UFC fighters of all time. He's one among the UFC fighter with most knockout history. These things surely add value to his game.
Yes, this time I will also choose Anderson Silva because Jake Paul has only been in the ring a few times, unlike Anderson Silva who has a lot of experience in the ring and has met various characters of his opponent, I think experience will determine the outcome of the match. it will be a great match even though the winning presentation for jake paul is very small.

When you say they both know how to box. Isn't Jake Paul's main job being a boxer anyway?
Anderson Silva is really one of the GOAT in the UFC he is a good striker, I agree with that. but cage and just boxing are really different. The age gap is also a big factor, and let me also point out that even if Anderson Silva was at his best, he couldn't beat Jake Paul in a boxing match, so it's clear where I'm going to spend my money.
In case you didn't know, Silva already had two victories last year in professional boxing matches. He defeated the former middleweight champion, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and knocked out the HOF Tito Ortiz too. He might be old but we can't yet consider that as a disadvantage nor a factor on this fight against Jake Paul who haven't yet boxed any legit boxer. Anyway, your money your rules True, Anderson may be passed his prime but his opponent can still be considered a novice in boxing since Jake Paul opponents are not really a boxer but washed-out athletes of different sports. So that evens out the score. The only worrying thing about Jake Paul is that he has a knockout power which can be devastating if Silva is unable to absorb those power punches. Regardless if Silva can evade heavy blows then I might think that Silva has a better chance of winning, unless the fight is scripted . That will be the downfall of Silva because we know that his jaw is easy to crack and Jake Paul won't have a hard time cracking it if he can manage to land a solid punch on it, he just needed to land a single or two to defeat Silva but I bet that won't come easy because Silva knows that his opponents are aiming on his head that's why he is trained to get evasive maneuvers and by the way, he is good at it. Taking away that fact, it will be an entertaining and an even fight, I just hope they didn't have a pact tho.

Silva is a legendary MMA/UFC fighter who would be considered one of the best, but he is too old to take on a young 25-year-old fighter who has been training hard for the past few years. and yes Jake Paul is a POS who has never fought a professional boxer but he has trained boxing from an experienced boxing coach and he is quite active and his strength, his stamina will far exceed current Silva. If Jake Paul was 25 against 46-year-old Anderson Silva, I think he won, and if he had fought Silva then or in his prime, Paul would have been hit hard and would have probably hung up his gloves. and anyway this will be an interesting match and also quite entertaining to watch.

Same here I will go all in with Silva. You guys really don't know that Silva has already fought in the ring numerous times and made a debut as early as May 1998. You can see it here: https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/152826Although I also side with Silva because experience speaks the most and even if Jake Paul has been fighting in the ring since then and has more knockout power than Silva, it's still not enough to defeat an experienced veteran who is still nimble and frisky at his age.

I'm surprised with this announcement, because I didn't imagine that we would actually have a fight between them (Anderson Silva vs Jake Paul)
It's a significant age difference, I don't know how Silva performs nowadays, if he still fights, trains or something similar.
But even so, I believe Anderson Silva will win this fight. He is more experienced and is also used to fighting. Anderson is taller and also has a large wingspan, which is an important factor in boxing.

Taking away that fact, it will be an entertaining and an even fight, I just hope they didn't have a pact tho. That’s the whole plan for the fight basically. Silva will try to use his expertise on running away from punches, he is great at it, and he will enjoy making sure that Jake pays for all his misses as well, both on getting tired (because even missed punches tire you a lot) and also because he will counter back very well. That’s Silva's plan, but Jake will be hoping to try to beat with just a few punches, if he lands even one amazing direct hit, it's over for Silva, so all fight Jake will be on the look out for it and maybe he will get it, or maybe he won't get it, but it will definitely be something to watch. This is the strategies for both sides, that’s it.

This is the strategies for both sides, that’s it. I think both has plans to avoid each other punch and not to get caught specially early, both have power in their hands that's for sure. And as the round goes on, we could see who has the advantage, youth vs experience. If Paul will not tire out he might surprised Silva. But for sure Anderson knows this so he has to preserved his strength and then go out full swing in the second half. So let's see which strategies are going to work here. But to be honest, as far as betting goes, I might skip this one.

This is both fighter's toughest fight and I have seen how respectful Jake Paul was to Silva I am interested in the outcome of this fight I don't think Silva will get himself knock out here because of the money, there's speculation that Woodley let Paul knocks him out, Silva has a better legacy than Woodley and it will be ruin if he gets knocked out here, although there's speculation that these exhibition matches are fixed to make Paul the winner I will not believe that Silva will go down to this level getting knock out, Silva will give Paul a good fight, he can even win this fight.

If the rumor is true then this is totally disgusting and give stain to Silva's career. And imagine a experience fighter got defeated by a youtuber? This is totally insane but I still doubt the rumor is true so I still think Silva got more better chances to win this fight because he's experience is more broad than Paul. I don't downplaying how Paul fight but let see how the match goes.

The catchweight fight of Pacman takes away the reserve tank of his opponent. Since Pacman't opponent needs to burn more weight, they are probably overexerted and already exhausted even before the fight starts, and that greatly affects the boxing performance of a fighter.

I don't downplaying how Paul fight but let see how the match goes. Silva is a very extraordinary fighter. If he will play with Jake and use taunts (like he used to in UFC), then Jake could knock him out. Or Silva show a boring fight (like he did in first UFC even in UAE, when sheikhs were expecting show, but got grimacing, walking and running in octagon). Even if promotors or people behind will try to stage this fight, Silva can perform what ever he wants. He likes to surprise with unexpected decisions. Jake has been training boxing for last 2-3 years. It is wrong to call him "just a youtuber". He is not "a guy that has put gloves for the first time" anymore. For sure he can kick some asses easily now.

The odds was set just right considering Silva was a great UFC fighter and also have experience in boxing too. Though he's already 47 but I guess there are still some speed, precision, and power that's left in his tank and can definitely beat the younger Jake Paul. On the other hand, Jake Paul's only advantage I can see is his age and activeness in boxing. So, I'm gonna pick Silva here.

Younger doesn't always mean fitter. That's across all sports, but especially for boxing. Jake has been so used to knocking out his opponents, but also his opponents not really answering back at him with punches. He may not have that great conditioning once Anderson starts throwing volume at him, and continues to do that into the rounds. I'm not too bothered about the result, I'm kind of routing for Jake almost just to see where he can take this career, but I'm also split as I'm a Silva fan, but he's at the tail end of his career, and I know he's going to get paid some decent money for this fight. So, ultimately I'm happy whatever the outcome is as long as it isn't Silva face down on the canvas. I think Jake does it. However, what I'm most curious about is how he deals with punches coming back at him, and the volume that Silva can output is still pretty decent judging on his last few fights. Also, he's a tricky fighter, he's unconventional in how he approaches fights, and throws his punches.

This fight is indeed very exciting for us UFC lovers because Anderson silva and Jake paul have a difference in terms of age, and I am sure that for this fight Jake paul is superior because of his stamina that is still strong and he will definitely be more profitable and can extend his undefeated record and he has already achieved five wins and without a single loss, and this will be a tough challenge for Anderson Silva of course, although Silva is already very experienced in the UCF but for this fight he has to really be able to prove his sharpness in the UFC ring that will take place at the crazy river arena Glendale.

I thought that Anderson Silva was going to be an underdog in this fight due to the age gap, but I must admit that after seeing recent footage of Mike Tyson at 57 absolutely destroying his trainer, I think Silva at 47 might be able to put Jake away. Seeing how reserved he is, I may have mistaken that kindness for weakness, but I think I see now that this will be a better fight then I was expecting. I also think Silva is probably the heaviest and longest fighter that Jake has faced. Jake still has a weight advantage to go along with his youth, but Silva is going to land some punches on him due to the reach where Woodley couldn't.

According to duelbits, Anderson Silve is not an underdog at all with 1.92 odd, while Jake Paul is 1.82. But I find it strange that there are no options of placing a bet "win by method" or "exact round". Either platform (platforms) dont allow such bets in exhibition fights, or this fight have special rules. I dont understand why Jake Paul is a favourite by bookies. Why dont bookies take into consideration Silvas experience, the fact that he works as a boxing coach for his son. He is not new to boxing. Silva is a lot in combat sports than any of other Jake Pauls opponents.

Silva has always been a gentleman outside the cage, and very softly spoken. I suppose when you're used to every other fighter bigging themselves up, it can come across weak with someone like Silva. Although, he's anything but that. Woodley freezes a lot, it was a problem in the UFC too, and not exclusive to his fight with Jake. There was times in that fight that if Woodley just threw some volume, he'd be asking questions of Jake. It just never happened. I've been saying it all along now, but I genuinely feel like we'll be walking away from this fight either thinking Jake cherry picked his opponents, and never really had a future in boxing or we'll see him as a real fighter. I genuinely believe he's the latter, he just needs the right opponent to showcase his defensive skills as well as his offensive skills, which we've seen he most definitely has.
