I am attracted to the study of Bitcoin energy usage and how Bitcoin clean-up energy has reduced Bitcoin energy usage and helped to improve the entire proof of work algorithm, and how to debunk the false claims from the sponsorers of proof of stake as a replacement to proof of work.
Even though, proof of stake have a high-security disadvantage that makes room for more centralization of the networks aimed at eliminating mining in the networks and replacing it with stakes this allows those with the highest stakes to control the network.
I recommend this site for any newbies looking for a place to build good knowledge about Bitcoin and how the entire network works, I spent a lot of time on the site and I read a lot of articles that contain a wide range of different important topics on Bitcoin clean energy usage and other topics as it relates to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
I am glad to have found this charity campaign that will help to push out quality information to the general public, that will discredit the falsehood being peddled around the cryptocurrency community.

Bitcoin energy consumption and the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining have been a serious discussion lately and with the recent ethereum merge that allows the migration from proof of work to proof of stake, this kind of information is highly needed at this point to create awareness on what clean energy is, and how Bitcoin energy consumption has become rate have become a stereotype topic recently.

This is a good initiative that will help us to arrive at a definite conclusion of what is really achievable with both the proof of work and proof of stake networks.

I hope to read some exciting informations that will help us make better argument going forward.

But for now, you can contribute to the discussions and share your thoughts on this subject matter as regards bicoin energy consumption and clean-up energies, thos discussion is going to be a long one so we are going to have an exciting study on this topic.

Yes, url in personal text is not clickable, it's just a plain text.

About efficiency, it's not as effective as signature though, but its better than avatar ^(IMO)
As you can copy the url in the PT then paste to URL bar, that's how i do it, i almost read every user's PT when reading their post since it's noticeable for me.

On the other hand, avatar is more on familiarization of the brand since its more attractive as it is an image.

Odusko, first of all, I would like to ask you to change the title of this thread. It should say "BitcoinCleanup.com", not "Bitcoinceanup".

Second, although I think this initiative is a good one, I don't think that the site is intended to provide "Bitcoin knowledge" in general; it's more focused on debunking some of the myths about Bitcoin's energy consumption. It may be useful for people who want to learn more about Bitcoin and the advantages of Proof of work (PoW) consensus mechanism versus Proof of stake (PoS), however, it is not an ideal place for beginners to learn everything about Bitcoin.

People never conduct their own research before accepting rumors or simple statements from others. This has slowed down the development and widespread acceptance of bitcoin. Bitcoin mining devices are developed with advance technology unlike in the early days where mining computers consume alot of energy, we must understand on fact and that is energy consumption in not only peculiar with only Bitcoin pos mining, all other sectors of the economy that uses computers and other devices such as banks and others consump alot of elelctricity too.

I just noticed this thread has been moved to service discussion even though it does not offer direct service and is more of a discussion, I was contemplating were the topic fit in either the Bitcoin discussion or the beginners and help section, but since the thread was moved to the the the the service discussion by the moderators, I have changed the title and I erased the newbie in the topic title.

It was high time we have a few of these as in recent times, energy has been some way to tackle bitcoin by the various critics and anti to the system out there, thereby spreading various FUD and assumptions about the network which might be untrue.
The bitcoincleanup.com initiative is one on like many others and am sure it would do its bit in the cryptospace and the society at large in spreading the right kind of information, correct certain flaws that have been projected above all merits to the system and make bitcoin great again.

The wide arms open in welcome and acceptance of the system by the forum is commendable and I too would recommend for visits.
