Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market?

Why are you trying to compare the bear market and the bull market? Both are equally important, each market has its own role. So, comparing them is something useless, surely unnecessary because get nothing.

And you don't need to compare Bitcoin or altcoins with stocks, they are different. Bitcoin and altcoins are volatile, the values change significantly. While stocks price changes seem not too significant and can be easier to predict. With the different in nature, the market characteristics should be a bit different.

Maybe he was confused about when the bear market and bull market would come so he tried to compare them. We are now entering a bear market because the price has dropped drastically since the year's beginning. So now is a good time to buy bitcoin or altcoins.

But maybe he should invest in bitcoin and not focus on altcoins because that could confuse him even more. But that's up to him because the final decision is in his hands. We can only give him advice.

Bear markets always tell opportunities for those who are late. For me, that is how it's supposed to be.
If by any chance you pull some courage to purchase then do so. There are investors who now regret they didn't buy at this stage or the other timelines where Bitcoin was cheap. I won't be a hypocrite because I am part of that regretful people.
We might not know where Bitcoin will go in the next year or a couple but I am sure it always goes back and more.

Hello bitcointalkers, I was wondering that When Bitcoin Evolved almost in 2009 when it was in cents and still it is only 13 years old, not even even adult if we compare it to the Human life etc. I know it sounds funny.
Also if we compare this to the Stock market, If I am gone wrong that might be at least 400 to 500 years old and still Woprd economy is around us..
So my point was that Bitcoin is evolving day by day with many bull and bear seasons, I want to say that Bitcoin first Bull market was almost in 2013 when it touched only 100 dollars and that was just big milestone and now Bitcoin is trading per second in only 100 dollars and that is just timing things.

What is it that we are trying to say here? Bitcoin began its bull run in 2013, and that was when it began to gain attention, and it broke $1k by flash and not $100, but after that, the price crashed because there was little liquidity around bitcoin at the time, and we only had a few exchanges where bitcoin was trading. Comparing its development now to that time, I will say it has come a long way, but as you said, timing is everything.

So I am going to my main point and that is Bitcoin hit almost 70k dollars and that was just big and bigger milestone and currently it is just trading above 18k dollars. And in my opinion that is currently going in Bear Market. And that bear market will turn till Next halving and that might be in 2024 as per block data. So I was wondering that wether this bear market will be helpful for new people or not. Cause many people thoughts are different than old people in crypto. So I am preparing myself in Bear market so that I might be able to stand in next bull run that might be the biggest bull run for Bitcoin and that might be just all time high to almost 200k dollars as compared to 2021 Data.

I'm going to assume that you're saying that now is the ideal moment for people who haven't tried bitcoin to try and buy since the price is low, but your writing style will deter a lot of the readers you're trying to reach with your message. Speculate and anticipate positive outcomes so that people will be interested and, regardless of what happens, they won't only look at the price alone but also be fascinated by the bitcoin ecosystem. If you put price first for people, they will get bored easily. We will definitely see another bull run, but it is not a guarantee that we will see $200k.

 

I am writing this article so that big bitcointalk members that are since 2015 and have very very god knowledge in cryptocurrency and can advise me and many other people that are new.

Actually, it is not about which one is important between the bear market and bull market, but about how we are during the bull and bear market. For, our decision, condition, and also strategy during the bear market and bull market will exactly give certain influence for whatever our goal and results. Do we know that many people are able to utilize the bear market to collect more Bitcoin and save them for long-term holding The result? It's awesome because most have proved that long-term investment in Bitcoin is exactly very promising. The down price during a bear market then will change to be very high price during a bull market. Many people can earn profits from this.

But on the other hand, many people failed even during the bear and bull markets. Who are they?
They are the panic people even during the bear and bull run. In the bull run, people are panicking enough to buy Bitcoin at the top price, and then they suddenly face that the price drops down because of a market correction. If they panic enough, they may sell their coin in cheaper price and get lost. That also happened in the bear market where many more people panics because the price keeps droping.

From this side, we can learn about how ours strategy and preparation during the bear and bull market so that we wil not panic in whatever the situation, still under control and careful enough tomake certain decision.

While we understand the importance of bear market and what action we must do, the others won't think about what you've been doing about investing at that time. It's actually the right time to buy during the bear market as we'll see the lowest at that point and it might not been seen again when the bull run comes.

So for me bear market is more important than bull market.

While for taking profit, the more important is during the bull run. We all want to sell at a higher price and that's during that time and it's the most exciting season because that's where people are too positive to the market and then eventually when bear market comes, they all get discouraged.

The right choice if you take some of these coins because they have a large volume. Currently I only trade Matic and Solana. Although the results are very little compared to last year's bull market, but it is sufficient for daily needs. But I also added stable coin stake option to increase income. Pro traders are disciplined in both markets and they can get profit from both market but they are very little on the market.

In bull market, it is easily to get profit but the challenge is will you be able to save your profit when bear market comes.
In bear market, most traders are in pain. Sometimes they get profit from bounces but if they are inexperienced and can not disciplined, they will get loss at the end.

For long-term investment needs, of course I hope this bear market will continue to occur in the future. I want to buy bitcoin at a lower price than now, but that doesn't mean now isn't the right time to do it. Actually many people are willing to wait for a cheaper price, but it is not uncommon for us to miss the train because the price does not reach the expected lowest target.

Investment is better than trading and if you choose a good one, invest in it long term, you will get profit. You will not be affected by market volatility, corrections, crashes along the way.

I find nothing interesting in asking these two market movement because while others is waiting for Increase? others are expecting decrease .

Some wanted to Buy, while others wanted to sell.


I myself had been in the situation that I wanted to buy so looking for bear market , but after several time I am seeking for Bull market because I badly needed funds and need to sell .

Usually the ones who wait for the price to increase are the long term investors because they are not yet contented on the current price but short term goers can sell now and after it, they are waiting again for the price to decline.

If you are into longer terms, you can also buy without really needing to wait for the the price to decline. I think there is no way for us to know if when will the bear market occur so waiting for it could be hard but congrats to you if you manage to do so. That simply means that you have lots of patience. Doing a dca right after some dip is also better than completely waiting for the lowest. Have you try that already?

Majority of people who had stepped in into this market does really have that kind of belief that they could really make theirselves rich overnight which is really a very wrong mindset or wrong thing to believe on.

If there was only a bull market where the price just went up and never went down then no one would sell their bitcoin and no one would be able to buy BTC. A market cannot exist without either one of these factors, in order for the market to be formed and exist, they need volatility.

Personally, I like the bear market, because the bear market is a time for us to clean up the market, remove the weak, unnecessary things and only real projects will survive. This is something the bull market cannot do.

That is true and this cycle of bull bear bull bear bull bear, has to continue because it would actually make sense to keep growing and making profit, then going down and buying again to profit later on and keep repeating that, it would be so much profitable for people who would buy from the lows, and sell from the highs and I know that not that many people do it right now but the reality is that buying at the bottom and selling at the top and repeating that would make you super wealthy within just a few years, and even in a year if you have some money and also come in at the right moment. It is very very important and we should be happy that we get bear markets.
