Bear markets always tell opportunities for those who are late. For me, that is how it's supposed to be.
If by any chance you pull some courage to purchase then do so. There are investors who now regret they didn't buy at this stage or the other timelines where Bitcoin was cheap. I won't be a hypocrite because I am part of that regretful people.
We might not know where Bitcoin will go in the next year or a couple but I am sure it always goes back and more.

Bear market and bull market bring out different opportunities that will make us all profitable in the long run. Just always buy when there is bear market and take time to sell when there is bull market, that way you will never end up losing. However, the sad part is we don’t know actually the bottom price to buy and the peak price to sell, that some end up selling and buying at a wrong timing. But one thing is certain, we may commit mistakes and losses for some time, but eventually we learned from it and get through it.

If we were given the option to have a bear market or a bull market we would have chosen the bull market to stay forever.

Only a novice person would choose a bullish run forever, this does not reflect the dynamism of the market itself. Bullish and Bearish moments make any market interesting and there can't be a perfect slope in the market so that the buyers and sellers could always have their fair share at their different seasons irrespective of the side that owns the sentiment at that time. Specifically, Bitcoin will always be bullish or bearish at times, and traders/holders could make their money on both sides. They could hold it while it is rising and use spot trading to sell it while it is bearish in trend.

The markets work more like a seesaw, there will be times markets will be bullish and times when markets will be bearish & sometimes balanced(consolidation) and all this happens because of the tag of war between buyers and sellers and not necessarily that one of them is more superior than the other. Both things will be important depending on the situation in which we position ourselves. like me, who is still in a position to collect bitcoins by continuing to buy and install entries using the DCA method. so for me this bear market is very important because it continues to provide opportunities for me to collect more bitcoins.

But when my position is at the stage of stopping collecting or has reached the target amount of BTC that I planned. then of course I would expect the bullrun market to come back. because of course at that time I will wait for new ATH to appear to take advantage of the BTC that I have collected so far. but because right now I'm still in collecting mode and haven't reached the planned amount target then this bear market is very important to me. because I can only buy in stages because I have not been able to buy in large quantities at once. Both are important aspects that makes BTC an investable cryptocurrency. Without experiencing any bear or bull market, neither profit would be possible. Unfortunately, another person's lost is another person's gain- and that what the stock/cryptocurrency market is all about.

Do not forget to make money whether we're in bear or bulls. Those that are getting carried away by the bull run, won't make themselves satisfied with the profit that they're about to make. And that is because they want to earn more from it and they end up not selling.

Yes, Bitcoin is the safe-haven in the cryptocurrency market but that doesn't mean there's no altcoin in the market that is not built solid fundamental concept. Besides, the bear market is the best time to know the altcoin that's good for the next bullish market.
Having said that, if we considered the number of funds it requires to hold a while BTC, adding ETH, SOL, BNB, and others to your portfolio at a cheap price now is never a stupid decision.

Bear and Bull season is somewhat what we called a market cycle and it adds interest to the market. We consider both of them have a different market roles as the bear market is for the accumulation period while the bull market is for the selling. And those who can understand and adapt to the situation will never complain but instead, they are happy doing this.

Depending on who you are and what you do will impact the market condition for you. To make it more clear, If you are a day trader and want to trade small to large amount of crypto then bear, or bull market won't have that much effect on you. As you are only trading on the basis of daily chart and market movements. As for newbies with less knowledge they tend to make money quickly and not see the bigger picture. Trend traders and whales are looking for some new projects to launch which will give them good profits.

And also you mentioned the fact that new users to join in as the price goes low. Yes many will join after seeing the low price point and on the other hand those people with less knowledge in crypto will say that the value is less compared to previous value and will ignore it.

That’s true, each of them have their advantages and disadvantages. If you are in a bear market, that means you have the chance to buy bitcoin for cheap, and that’s a great thing and you need to do that, but if you stay too long then it’s going to be like "alright I already bought as much as I can, let’s go up already!" and that’s understandable.

If you are in a bull market you could go up to a point where you profit a lot and that’s good part, but then you will crash hard so if you miss the exit you are going to lose profit a lot and that’s very risky. So, each side has its own advantages and disadvantages like I said, you just have to time them very well.
