If I have understood you correctly, you are looking for a tool that generates bitcoin addresses securely. If so, you can use electrum wallet. Electrum is an open-source wallet which gives you complete security if it's used properly. Electrum gives you numerous addresses all backed up by a seed phrase. Take note that if you want your wallet and your addresses to be 100% secure, you should install electrum on an air-gapped device. Warning: Download electrum only from its official website and do not forget to verify your download.

The phrase 'bitcoin generator's makes it seem a bit complex, in the basic sense, you want to create a wallet which holds your private and public keys. Electrum is a great option for this, so is Bitcoin core. Ensure you follow the process securely, to really keep the process safe, and back up your seedphrase properly.
If you're looking for an address that would cut on fees, you should go for SegWit addresses (starting with a 'b'). It reduces the fee rate paid on transactions, as it (basically) reduces the size of the transaction.

Either bitcoin core or electrum for me. Since installing electrum is usually faster, electrum mostly wins against bitcoin core. Your address is only as strong as your weakest link in your home pc setup. If you have a compromised OS, it don't really matter which software you use because you will get hacked anyway. Linux, Electrum does it for me. I don't about the internet connection because I am behind a firewall and I don't install unpopular crap to my system.

All open-source software wallets and hardware wallets are considered safe to generate Bitcoin addresses, as long as you've owned your private considering that's safe. Most of them highly recommend a hardware wallet because it has security features that protect your Bitcoin or crypto in general. The links below that I've shared will hopefully help you to find a better wallet to generate a Bitcoin addresses.

You just have to mind your choice of wallet, your connection, how you keep your private keys, and how mindful you are as far as the basic security do's and don'ts are concerned. The wallets mentioned above could safely generate you different addresses. So it's now up to how you handle them to avoid security breaches. But, of course, choose wallets that are fully open-source, non-custodial, and supports Native SegWit addresses.

Hi guys wondering what the best (safest) address generator is for btc addresses ?
The best depends on so many factors by each person and how they do this. You can get list of wallets and security recommendations from following resources You should download wallet from an official site (not phishing site); verify what you download; creating your wallet offline; making your wallet backup; trying to recover it from backup (this step to make sure that you did not make any typo with backup). Also don't forget to use a strong password for your wallet file because it is a preventive barrier that prevent bad guys to access your wallet private key

I see you're still confused what's exactly the generator is and Bitcoin address. It's better for you to read Bitcoin whitepaper first [1] after that you need to understand how exactly Bitcoin address created and how secure it is. Each Bitcoin address will have seed phrase in order to access your wallet, it can be 12 or 24 words and you can read list of the words [2] Total of possible Bitcoin address can be created are 2 256 which is 115,792,089,237,316,195,423,570,985,008,687,907,853,269,984,665,640,564,039,457,584,007,913,129,639,935 [3]. That's a huge number and it's almost impossible for anyone to brute force your seed phrase.

This is wrong. It's not that all bitcoin addresses are generated from a seed phrase. Your seed phrase generates your private keys and your private keys generate your addresses. For generating a bitcoin address, you can convert a random number to a private key and then derive a bitcoin address from that private key. In this way, the address has been generated from the private key directly and you don't have any seed phrase. Take note that there is no mention of "Seed phrase" in bitcoin whitepaper and bitcoin core doesn't give you any seed phrase at all.

To generate an address, you can use any wallet software.
But if by address generator you actually mean "generate me an address that has free bitcoins", you will not find any legit site, because they are all scams. Stay safe out there.

In principle, we can say that it is one of the safer ways to generate crypto wallets and perform transactions, but even hardware wallets have their weaknesses. Most of us know what happened with the massive data leak by Ledger and the compromising of the privacy of hundreds of thousands of their clients - which means that when buying such devices you should avoid exposing your data. And as far as malware is concerned, it is not true that users can relax completely because they are still susceptible to clipboard malware attacks, especially if they do not use their HW as they should, which means comparing the address on the HW and the UI they are using. Also, mishandling a backup can have disastrous consequences, because each of these devices can break down at any time, which some do not take into account at all.

I also find desktop wallet in offline mode to be the safest. Hardware wallets are fine when you travel a lot but otherwise I see no point in spending money to have a wallet when you can get it for free provided that you have a secure PC that you don't use for browsing, downloading torrents or gaming. I had my coins on a separate bitcoin dedicated pc since 2014 and never had an issue with malware or theft.

Don't ever hesitate to use Electrum, many other users also recommend Electrum for you. Electrum is one of the Free and Open Source Bitcoin Wallets, and is supported by features that make it easier for users. The Electrum application is light and fast when accessed/used, the standard for the smallest unit in Electrum uses mBTC and supports Segwit. Download the original Electrum Software: https://electrum.org/#download Things you should pay attention to after using a Bitcoin wallet: - Always backup bitcoin (private key/Mnemonic Phrase).
- Use a strong password to be more secure.
- Enable other security like 2FA.
- Make sure your computer has anti-virus and internet security applications installed.
- Do not give private key/Mnemonic Phrase to anyone.
For further discussion about Electrum, you can directly visit the following link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0

Hi, it seems that you are new to all this. All of us were at one time or other. I suggest don't jump in to anything too much before you learn a bit about crypto. Like others said, electrum is really good. I don't suggest that you hold your coins long term on an exchange, they tend to get hacked once in a while. It's safer to hold them in a cold wallet (if you do it right). For larger amounts, many people like to use a trezor or ledger wallet, but that's probably overkill for most of us. There is no hurry, its not going anywhere. Take your time and learn a bit before jumping in. it's not a get rich quick scheme (although I think bitcoin will go up long term). Don't get caught by a scam. And NEVER give away your passphrase to anyone. The bitcoin isn't really stored on your computer. You might think it is but anyone with your pass phrase can take the bitcoin from any where in the world (probably even the space station if they have internet lol). Good luck!

What do yall think about Bitaddress.org ?
As a newbie, you will have a lot to learn to stay in this market. I recommend you to follow what everyone suggested, go and use electrum wallet, it's the easiest to use wallet for newbies as well as all investors. Try starting with electrum I believe you will like it soon, if you want to try other things then leave it for later because now you are a newbie not so focused on creating a wallet that forget about other things. The people here have also used a lot of different wallets and most people end up with Electrum, so take that into consideration.

What do yall think about Bitaddress.org ?
I haven't heard much about it, but I wouldn't trust it too much (if at all) because it's online. All it would take is for the domain to be hijacked and then bitaddress.org could redirect to a phishing clone or just a different version that logs your public and private keys and then if you put anything in that wallet, they could take it with no recourse. Electrum is a much better (and safer) option in my opinion. If you're paranoid (like you should be), run it on an airgapped PC only used for that purpose. Some old laptop or PC should do if you wipe it, put something like Ubuntu on it, download Electrum (and verify the PGP sigs), then install it on there. That PC should never ever be allowed on the internet, and don't connect it in any way to any other PC other than to get Electrum on there/update Electrum. (Not to mention that bitaddress.org doesn't give you a mnemonic backup phrase...)

Undoubtedly, hardware wallets will be the best solution for generating btc addresses. Especially for beginners, because it allows to maximally protect against errors and compromise of the seed-phrase due to malicious programs. I would not use online applications to generate btc addresses, and even more so, I would not use it. The probability that money from these addresses will be stolen is very high. Trezor and Ledger popular firms, but there are others besides them. Less hyped, but no less worse.
