So I am a little disappointed that deal is now called off. We probably would have seen a very different Twitter if Elon could become the owner of Twitter.

I think that you might have misunderstood what OP wrote, or you wrote your comment based on the title which can be misleading. So, situation is quite the opposite and few days ago Elon changed his decision (yet again) and this time he decided to go through with Twitter takeover. If I am you  I wouldn't celebrate just yet as knowing Elon and his tendency to change opinion, there is still chance that this deal doesn't happen.

I think he was mainly responsible for the dump from 58k to 41k because at that exact moment Musk posted his rant about bitcoin using too much energy and told the world that Tesla wouldn't accept it unless it's green...

If he was responsible for dump from 59k to 41k, was he also responsible for pump before that? While he certainly affected BTC price at the beginning of his interaction with Bitcoin, I don't think that he had that much of a power over bitcoin price.

Well, I know one thing....

Elon Musk loves Crypto currencies ....and he will most definitely encourage Crypto content on Twitter if he eventually buy it. We have seen a lot of these large social media platforms ..banning Crypto currency advertising, because it was either too expensive to filter the genuine content from the scams or the masters behind the scenes.. pushed their own agenda.  

Let's hope his stand on Crypto currencies will stay the same ...and that he will allow "freedom" for legitimate Crypto currency projects to flourish on the Twitter platform.

I really hope he does not change this platform to a "subscription" service only.  

Heh! Yeah right! Personally I think he just likes anything that brings in more cash. Him supporting the spread of crypto is a fifty fifty situation. It could happen that he might promote crypto as he did when he purchased over $1.5bn worth of BTC and was able to push it's value higher but I won't be surprised if he uses the platform for something else.
 If there is anything one should understand about Elon is his ability to be innovative and different.

I guess the recent economic woes got to him which is why it wasn't easy for him to cancel the deal completely. Musk is an amazing innovator for sure, but he is one filthy human being which is why I don't feel sad for him at all.

It's too early to tell if this moment is good or bad for Twitter, but this is definitely a game-changing moment for them in the social media space.

Also, I observed some posters in this thread actually supporting him for his stance on cryptocurrencies which is really weird considering the fact that he is one of the primary reasons why BTC sank rapidly from its ATH.

Whether it's good or bad for Twitter is irrelevant. Twitter is like a ship with smashed deck and is still under enemy fire - water's not inside it but most guns, radar, and support are out of action and it will be very hard for someone even like Elon Musk to steer the ship to safety without it getting shot up and sunk first.

Given the nature of tech leaders today, Twitter is in a bad state and it will only get worse from here.

But, if someone offered me 40-50 billion dollars, or twitter, I would prefer to own twitter instead of that money. They are both making a good amount of revenue to begin with, and they are also growing in size as well. Twitter lost its appeal for a while back in the day, but these days politics really took a big hold of twitter (and crypto too) and that made it grow bigger.

What exciting is he is actually putting another businesses Money into Twitter and it’s a golden rule that we should never mix up things. I’m feeling bad about employees and Share holders of Tesla since big number of shares are getting liquidated and thus affecting the market severely and holders could be in jeopardy whether they should keep holding them or should they liquidate the same for Twitter.

Good. More jobs available for people that actually hope to achieve the company's goal. Reports suggest the internal Twitter employee group chats were in tears over the finalization of the deal. It's a bit odd though, the Twitter board was desperate for this deal to go through. So it seemed like the board was at odds with its employees, but it wouldn't be the first time inner turmoil of a company.

I would suggest to Elon in the start that he needed to fire the woksters the moment he stepped in. It seems as if they're saving him the trouble and resigning themselves. Good for them, less work for Elon to find the trouble makers that would sabotage his company from within.

Twitter has been one of those applications I consider very influential and also very controversial. It's really different from other social media application and has a more serious approach in the sense that people who normally aren't active on other platforms are very active on Twitter. It doesn't surprise me that Elon musk is very much interested in Twitter ownership.

From Elon musk twitters you can have little idea of the type of person he is. I would equate him with the likes of Rapper Kanye west in a way, their taste of reason draws some questions. And as they always want to be hard and their ideology stuffed down the throat of others, buying of twitter is the right step in the eyes of Elon musk, I see him dropping or easing some regulations in the platform.

 A good turn of events for Twitter as they are close to closing the deal. Elon has good plans for the social network as he believed that before going back on the deal initially, he could have 500 million users daily and rake in $13.2bn as revenue come 2025. I wouldn't say this story is over until Elon has successfully handed over every last cent required to complete the deal. When he made this announcement that he was now actually buying it, there was the requirement that Twitter drop the currently open lawsuit against Elon (which he will lose as Delaware law is very business friendly). It might also not be too healthy for press freedom even if it does go through, because we've seen what an unstable psychopath he really is underneath with his countless outbursts and he would no doubt be willing to stoop to any low in order to have other people fund his acquisition (think Saudi Arabia who might love backdoor control of such a social network service).

Is this final already? That only means Elon is also serious about getting the twitter it’s just that he want’s both parties to agreed with his terms and with this, it can be a good buyout for Twitter. Let’s see what Elon can do to solve the issues with Twitter especially with freedom of speech and crypto adoption. Elon is more on Doge and Bitcoin, we might see that option soon but let’s hope that Elon will not require every uses to use only DOGE because that is not a freedom after all.

The latest news is still under review and not final, even many people can't wait for Elon Musk to acquire Twitter, I'm sure after becoming Elon Musk's, Twitter will be more aggressive and have very different features or functions.

I don't know what the former owners of twitter were thinking when they decided to sell it but with what you're saying, I think Elon seems to see the potential this social network has for him, especially with his businesses, twitter will bring thousands of benefits to Elon and his work. I think that's why he suggested buying twitter. The stalled deal could also be his plot, maybe he's already achieved his goal that we can't see.

What I badly want to change about Twitter is the proliferation of scammer bots. They are simply unchecked. Every time you take a look at tweets of popular crypto personalities, you will see that they are flooded with comments from bogus accounts posting shady links and promoting scam projects. If I'm not mistaken, some of these scammers have already managed to get that blue badge.

Twitter has already integrated crypto features at the hands of Jack. And I think that whether Twitter will transfer ownership or not, it will still be further developed with Bitcoin or crypto in consideration.

Twitter had suffered alot from it critics across the world to an extent that some countries even got the social media network banned within their region without any notice, but i understand this is something that has to do with not the abuse use proported but the negotiating hands eith the government which has been a long itching challenge for both sides, but at the end they must come into concession and allow the smoothy operations to resume just as in this case.

I can't imagine about what if twitter had been bought and managed by Elon, his last history on kirpto I know that he has dropped crypto prices to tweet some "FUD" information on his twitter account, after that I have unfollowed his tweets because he is not important for me to know. I think this is a good decision that could benefit everyone because even though his plans to go public didn't materialize, it was still important that he took control of the growth from where Dorsey left off. It is an opinion ground for some and majority of times they block people who has an opinion, so i would personally like to see Elon Musk taking over Twitter because he will not restrict anyone simply because of an opinion. It seems that things are not over yet, although Elon has announced that he will buy back twitter at the original agreed price. Elon proved weaker in this sale, twitter has not withdrawn the lawsuit when Elon announced to accept the deal. The trial will begin on October 17, although the event has nothing to do with the markets, it is well worth watching as we are know that Elon is a crypto fan.
Twitter is really a great social network, the only annoying thing is that there are so many bots, I also hope that after taking over he will have a solution to this problem.
