Ndasmu Njeblug, spam in the bounty thread

I don't know if spam in the bounty thread will be a problem for moderators or not.

but yesterday I saw Ndasmu Njeblug "Woke Up" and made so many POA posts in 1 day, after not posting for 4 years.
there is about 63 POA created with the same format in multiple bounty threads. but the account is not listed in the spreadsheet.

I don't know what he meant by bursting into posts like that. but clearly, there is an intention only to increase the number of activities only.
looking at the history of merit obtained is also suspicious.

it's probably someone's alt account.
why he is more active now than before, there can be several reasons. For example, the account is changed hand, because of reselling or hacking. Bounty hunters bought it to participate in some campaigns. it is quite possible that his default account is banned or red-tagged, so this is a new restart.
because of merit, pumping activity does not mean much, it's a waste of time. no matter how much of a spammer he is, he knows it himself.

The altcoin bounty section has had lots of spammer since before until now they can't solve this issue.

If you feel that is burst posting or spam then instead of creating a thread here use the report button including the evidence you have as support. Let the moderators do their jobs to ban or remove those posts if your report is right.

Report Ndasmu Njeblug to the moderator if you care, i don't mind about this spam. If the spam was in another section other than the bounty section i am sure multiple reports would have been made against that member, but in my humble opinion 99% of us would not have been aware of this case if you did not make this topic, because we don't go there.

i don't mind about this spam.

but, I see him doing Burst's posts on the bounty board so as not to get caught.
my guess is he did it to move up the ranks to the member rank. looking at the 10 merits earned is quite a long time ago. but the number of posts made was not more than 30 posts before he made 63 posts in 1 day.

If the spam was in another section other than the bounty section i am sure multiple reports would have been made against that member,

I don't know if it's useful or not. spam on the bounty board which makes me doubt whether the Mod will follow up on my report or not.

My opinion:
1. The delivery process (Merit) occurred in 2018, by the two accounts below.

1. Sate Jamu
2. Hotel_Prodeo

It happened 5 years ago.

2. Judging from the profiles of the two accounts above regarding trust: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.msg35010083#msg35010083, they are indeed detected to have the most Alt accounts in this forum, that's based on the Reference I saw made by: @The Pharmacist.


So, the conclusion I can draw in a case like this.
That: It is very likely that the @Ndasmu Njeblug account, was sold by the owner, considering that the Alt account above has been inactive since 2019, I suspect the account changed hands, that's a decision I can deduce.

The user in question isn't only a spammer. He/She seems to be a merit abuser too.
According to BPIP, Ndasmu Njeblug has received 6 merit from Hotel_Prodeo and 4 merit from Sate Jamu.

Both of the merited posts have been deleted and didn't deserve to get merit at all.

Though it's spam for us, I don't think the forum will consider it spam due to posting POA on bounty threads. Anyone can apply multiple bounties on the same day. I don't think it's a problem for moderators. But still, you may try with the report button and write the proper reason why you think posts should consider spam. If you have any other proof like the account changes hands or alt account then feel free to share it here. We might take a look.

I don't want to go into more facts, I just think that @Ndasmu Njeblug is an alt account of another user. I don't know what his orientation is for spamming POA on the bounty thread, and I see no other reason for him than wanting to increase his activity points or whatever.

Recently a lot of accounts are waking up, changing emails, changing passwords and then submitting applications on signature campaign. Some verified accounts were sold, they couldn't prove account ownership and started looking for more or less the same reasons as others. But basically applying on a bounty thread is allowed even more than one thread, but when it's done blindly then someone will be suspicious about that activity pattern.

Bounty hunters in general mainly just post in those bounty threads. Why complain? Just ignore if you don't like seeing the POAs or don't visit the bounty section. Unless the account is hacked or bought, they did nothing wrong registering for 63 bounties except maybe be annoying to anyone monitoring.

I'm sure the Mod won't find POA being created in large numbers a problem. OP, you don't need to report the account POA post, it will be a waste of your time.

but as @YOSHIE said, there are suspicions, most likely the account has been sold (there is a history of changing passwords) and also a merit abuser.

but merit abuser was done by the account owner before changing hands. and with posting patterns exploding, it's clear that he's just chasing the amount of activity to increase rankings. but no need to worry about member ranking. his activity in the bounty thread will not give him a higher rank.

OP, you just rushed to create a topic. Now he will be careful. His POA doesn't actually break anything, which is what a lot of bounty hunters do. He can explain that he wants to get all the shitcoins in the world. But having reached the rank of a member, his behavior may change, and then it will be a litmus test whether he is a plagiarist, a spammer, or someone else's alternative account. When I add these to my favorites, they usually quickly expose themselves.

The registration date is the same as your account. Needless to say, this is a coincidence, right? Examine the speed with which this account is added to the bounty as well. exactly the same behavior.

looks like you're right. it's not a coincidence. account farm woke up.
it's not a coincidence. same registration date. there is a Burst Post with the same scheme. it makes sense when they increase their activity by posting bursts in the bounty thread. because it shouldn't be a problem for most people.

The accounts you find also look like abuse of the merit system. 10 merit just for posts I thought could be made for someone new to the forums. even those who gave sMerit have been banned for a long time

I guess the account is banned now. Look at their post history. It's very possible that all those POA were deleted by the mod however I was primarily thinking mods will not delete the POA.

I don't know what you mean. Ndasmu Njeblug's account has not been banned, and none of his POA posts have been deleted as far as I can see.

for the time being, we won't see the connection between the two accounts. even though both made POA for the same campaign (Maximus Bounty) but the Ndasmu Njeblug account never filled out the form to register. so there will be no username in the spreadsheet.

yes, multiple posts in one line. and given merit which is most likely the alt account itself that has been cheaters in the past.

I've found the points I want to get.
I will not report POA issues to moderators. like most of all opinions. it won't bother.
there are at least 2 accounts currently indicated as the most likely part of the woke up account farm.

the thread will be locked. will likely be unlocked in the future with other findings.
